Today is day one for Mom at the new Encore Village and the team was on their game! Very attentive, professional, compassionate, concerned and skilled. only day one, but we are confident this will continue. The experience was night and day from three years ago when my late father was at Encore. I applaud the 180 encore and the team have apparently accomplished. We love Mom. Thank you!

I would urge caution to anyone considering becoming a resident at Encore of Schaumburg. While a number of visible changes are attractive, after they took over this location, their attentiveness to resident needs has fallen drastically. Recently for example, they forced a number of residents to move from their long term apartments. A number of things were promised in the run-up to that move, but it seems like after they got people out, they aren't worrying about it any longer. People have been waiting for weeks to get basic issues addressed. I myself am trying to get anyone on the phone to help me understand what's happening, but it doesn't appear any of the office phones are staffed, and everything leads to Billing voicemail.

My mom has lived at Friendship Village for 7 years, and couldn’t be happier there! She has met a lovely circle of friends and enjoys all the activities FV has to offer. She’s busier than I am between the groups she belongs to and performances FV hosts! And the staff there are amazing: kind, thoughtful, and they treat my mom with loving care. Everyone is so friendly, especially MJ. The receptionist in the front she greeted Us in guided me to check in and told me my father is a very wonderful person. I went and saw my father we came down for lunch. Lunch was delicious and We saw MJ in like I said a very pleasant person. Thank you for having a wonderful receptionist.

My sister in law and brother in law just moved in this month. Everything I’ve seen has been exceptional. Every person both living there and employed there has been friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and choices varied. I would recommend Encore to my friends and family.

My mom spent 2 weeks at Encore. The staff were great especially the PT and OT staff. The rooms were cleaned every day and having a private room was the best. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

My mother in-law is a patient at Encore Rehab and everyone there is polite and very helpful when questioned about her care. Because of her physical therapist, she is quickly recovering. I want to send a special thanks to the social worker Linda. Linda was always ready to help and get involved with my mother in-laws recovery. I also wanted to thank Rachna for my mother-in-Law’s care. She was always pleasant and willing to help her. I also want to thank Zoie for her kindness , help, and understanding. I’m stopping here or I’ll run out of room praising the Encore’s staff. I travel to many different retirement facilities for work and i’ve never see a cafe as nice as the Golden Brew! It’s fantastic for the residences but I wish it was a chain so I could visit more often! The drink specials are so fun and food and pastry items are gorgeous! They were having a cookie special for valentine’s day and it was so adorable. Plus the people were so friendly to me and their familiar faces. 10/10

My mother moved to Encore Village in December. She is very happy there. All staff are so kind and helpful. She feels secure, she enjoys her patio and the lovely courtyard, and she has met very kind staff and residents.

she was admitted on Tuesday. as of today she still does not have a phone in her room. I asked 3 different people on Wednesday when is she getting lunch. it's coming was the answer. Today I observed her p.t. and v.t. Best she has had in the past 2 months. it's even making her think a little and she is not complaining "I can't do that.". I don't call canned green beans fresh. ugh. I asked for the peas but they would not give it to her. stupid.

She took the time to ensure all my questions were answered and went above and beyond to support the resident we were discussing. Judy demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, staying calm, attentive, and informative even after regular hours. Came to watch the movie that the residents made. It was a fun night. Wine, punch, and snacks were provided for us. I used to live at the village and was on the movie crew, so it was wonderful to see old friends. The movie was great by the way.

Shared and enjoyed a complete introduction to the Encore facility. While it is not a perfect fit for our needs and wants it is a very well rounded facility. Their sales representative, Cassie, was extremely professional, well informed and at all times was able to answer all of our questions and observations. Your place is just great and beautiful. I could not believe how big it is and well kept. So clean and fresh, so many places to enjoy the outdoors and relax on a nice warm day. Love that you have so many things to enjoy and the activities, friendly people and personal. Cassie was wonderful and all the information and each of the units she took us to were very nice and roomy. Who am ready I would consider making the move to your place.
