We are like fish out of water and Carl helped us to breathe without dying, this is dramatic but this is really how I feel. Highly recommend American House to anyone who can afford.

They have taken the whole retirement community concept to new Heights. We are looking, potentially for a place for our mom. Our previous experience with other retirement communities has been very poor. The facility is beautiful. The workers are professional, and from what we’ve seen they live up to their great reputation in the community. You should seriously consider them for your loved ones.

I took my mom for a tour and dinner at American House. The first thing that struck us was how friendly the staff and residents are. This senior living community is top-notch. It’s a newer, well-maintained building with comfortable gathering spaces. Dinner was tasty, with several offerings. The residents we met were welcoming, engaged and active participants in the programming offered. We left with the feeling that this is a place where seniors live well in a caring environment. We really appreciated the time Earl, the Community Relations Director, spent with us”he is so personable and had many helpful suggestions as we explore options.

The facility was top of the line for cleanliness, activities offered, and outdoor space. As Earl took me through the process he was very patient with me, took in my concerns over specific concerns for my parents help and followed up immediately after my visit with ideas for accommodations. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking.

We visited American house for the first time this week. It’s a beautiful 3 year old facility and we felt warmly greeted by the management team. The common areas feel like a first class hotel environment. The staff throughout were professional. We’re in the midst of exploring options right now, and found pricing to be reasonable and middle range. Rooms are nicely designed with especially nice kitchens and fully modern bathrooms. Recently had to find placement for my partner and American House of Oak Park was recommended. Took a tour with Earl, the Community Relations Director. The facility is amazing. Beautiful decor, spacious rooms, everyone is friendly and helpful. Working with Earl was amazing. He seemed to know everyone there by name. He helped throughout the entire process. Checked in with me often to see that things were going well. The facility is very lucky to have him as an employee. I would recommend American House as placement for your loved one.

My mother loves this place! We had her try it out for a month and believe me I thought there was no way she'd stay even that long. She was very much the type to say she wanted to stay in her home forever. However, two weeks in... She walked down to the lobby and asked to sign up long term! The staff is so friendly. The decor is gorgeous and so modern! Such an upgraded perspective on what a senior living facility can be. I love that they have tiers of support so should things regress it would likely be a much smoother transition to additional support.

My 90 year old father lived here in assisted living for almost a year. Because I live overseas, I had to trust placing him here without visiting or meeting anyone. And after his time there, I have zero regrets in my decision. My father was healthy and happy and everyone I dealt with was warm, professional and did all that they could to look after him with care and respect. They were responsive to my requests, which were probably exceptionally numerous given my distance - yet they never made me feel like I was a burden. Many thanks to you all, especially Maryanne, Briana and Joyce.

The amount of good things to say about American House and their staff is endless. From the initial contact, Mary Ann made both me and my brother feel heard and helped. I am long distance and had spent so much time and worry trying to make sure he was cared for in his final stages of dementia. She made sure to keep me up to date every step of the way, to make sure he had everything needed, that I was included and informed of his condition and care. The entire team and experience given through American House Oak Park, Mary Ann and the entire staff showed that they truly care for their residents comfort and enrichment, their families and giving everyone involved the dignity and voice deserved during this time. We had an excellent experience at American House. We were given a tour by Mary Ann Pappone, Corporate Sales Specialist on Monday, October 21 at the Oak Park, IL Site. She was very friendly, clear and concise in her explanation of the community at the Senior living residence. She gave us a sense of confidence on how our family member would be treated, loved, and integrated into the community and how the staff would help us to adapt to our loved one living away from us. We enjoyed the fact that we were welcome to visit as much as we wanted. The building is beautiful, well kept, and very well organised. The group is focused on a well rounded living situation and provides a well trained and well managed staff to support its residents. The programming for the residents is robust and well planned. A great place!

From the moment I stepped into the American House Senior Living Community in Oak Park, they welcome me/us as part of thier community. Truly everyone played a part in making us feel like family. I would definitely recommend anyone seeking Senior Living of any kind to give them a call! Mary Ann P. and Paul Z were all very knowledgeable. We had a few extra minutes to dine at thier rooftop bistro and the view alone gives it a 10/10! You can view the beautiful city of Oak Park and a bonus view is the amazing City of Chicago Skyline view. I tried thier chicken and waffles and everything was so delicious and full of flavor, Chef James H. and his team deserves a big round of applause! The hospitality of Bestsy was much appreciated as well. If you have time to tour this facility- I wholeheartedly encourage you to do so, you will be in good hands. Even if you need a beautiful place to host/cater a gathering or special event, give them a call- they may be able to assist you in that regard as well. Me and my colleague really appreciate the friendliness and professionalism of thier entire staff.

American House has thoughtfully selected their staff to be a caring, professional, and fun-loving team that listens to each resident and guest. The entry system is outstanding in establishing a COVID safety protocol, getting guests’ information, and printing out a handy, wearable name tag sticker with your face on it. Very helpful for meeting new people. AH’s entire layout is gorgeous, from the multiple dining and gathering areas to the rooms and their beautiful views of the neighborhood and Chicago skyline in the distance. I look forward to returning often to visit my loved one!
