There isn’t a half star or I would give them that. There are some good employees that truly care about the residents but because of problems with the Management and poor pay, they aren’t around long. A revolving door of employees. Lack of an RN is in house and sometimes only one CNA on the off shifts for the entire building. Meds are missed and showers are skipped. Looks are deceiving and look past the big smiles of Management.

My friend moved in to The Glenwood Supportive Living of Mt. Zion. He gets his cleaning and laundry done, and he gets three meals a day. Once in a while the nurse will take a blood test, but most of the time he's getting therapy from outside. The services are very good and we're very pleased. They're very concerned about the needs of each person who lives there. The staff is caring, very good at what they do, clean and cook really well and does the laundry really good. My friend is very happy with it. They keep the grounds very nice and they have flowers hanging from the front porch where they can go out and sit if they want to. They have a key to their room so they can come and go as they wish. The food is very good. We ate there twice and we liked it both times. We think the place is very well-managed and the administrator is very good

The Glenwood in Mt. Zion was a good environment for supportive living. However, my mother is 89 years old and had a stroke, so she needs skilled nursing. It wasn't the level of care I needed for her. The grounds were pleasant and well cared for. The place was clean, spacious and seemed comfortable. However, there was no major road nearby. The staff was pleasant. They had an activity calendar. I didn't see much going on, but they had music performances and games. Everything seemed adequate.
