My wife & I had an orientation meeting with Ginger (Director of Sales & Marketing) & facility tour today. We were pleasantly surprised by a sign on reception desk welcoming our planned visit with our names shown and were not required to check in via computer. We were promptly greeted & escorted to a meeting room by Ginger. This is incredibly thoughtful/friendly/courteous welcoming protocol! We got sufficient information on features, benefits, floor plans & schedule of fees in addition to brief tour of the facility. We are fully satisfied with the visit and keep it for advance planning of our potential assisted living options in the future.

If you are in assisted living, you may be fine. If in Memory Care, it leaves a lot to be desired. Again no one showed up for Memory Care Activities. This is a common occurrence. There are amenities in your contract and for $12,500. You think they would provide them. The Memory Care garden is sad. No one planted in 2 of the raised beds. It is dead and full of weeds. The last raised bead has about 4 barely alive plants. Bed time here is 6:30 for the most part.

I highly recommend Mount Prospect Senior Living if you are looking for a place for your loved one. It is truly a great level of comfort knowing my grandmother is being cared for by people who truly care. I work at Mount Prospect Senior Living with Paxxon Healthcare. The community is in beautiful and quiet location. The staff is very helpful and care for the residents. There is one particular CNA, Francisco that will help anyone who needs assistance.

Hi I came as an agency nurse to this place I felt so welcoming my first day here was in Christmas Day I told my family I had my best gift today for being here .the place is very clean very organized . The caregivers and CNAs are very attentive and helpful working as a team .Residents in this place are well taken care of .Food here very tasty and healthy. Thank you to everyone here . They are really giving the care that our elders deserve.I will definitely recommend this place to my loved ones .

The staff is wonderful. The food, terrible. Could you eat this? You get pleanty of sandwhiches, fries, potatoes, and pasta. Peas and carrots will make a rare appearence. This is not a balanced senior meal. You should have a protient, veggie, starch and grain, You do not get this here. Food is not edible. Someone please help these seniors.

A luxury cruise ship landed on Mt Prospect! Mom has discriminating taste and I was so happy she found a place that she wanted to live. Great choice mom!. If you think the facility is great, wait till you get to know the staff. There is no substitute for love. From the top down, without exception, they are loving and attentive. Executive Director--Christine helped my mom to the bathroom instead of focusing on the money; Director of Sales--Shelly was so patient with us and prompt in response; Memory Care Director--Veronica has a fantastic attitude with residents and family alike; LPN--Faviola is bright and caring; I thought Business Director--Allen was the concierge (I think he can get anything done); Head of Maintenance--Nick is humorous and helpful; and last but certainly not least, Executive Chef--Mark obviously loves his guests and makes a great meal! (You have to meet him and hear his Loveboat story.) He was the Executive Chef on a well known cruise line! I can't wait to get our family together for mother's day brunch. Got to go, it is time for mom to see Olga for her haircut and manicure!

If you are looking for a safe place and a dedicated staff to care for your loved one, I highly recommend Mount Prospect Senior Living. We were looking for a state of the art memory care facility for my father. As a nurse practitioner who has worked in the medical field for over 20 yrs, my standards are high. From the moment we sat down with Shelly and Maria we knew we were in good hands. They understand the needs of seniors and the importance of enhancing their quality of life. The team is compassionate, they pay attention to detail, and maintain a safe environment for those residents who require closer observation. They have a comprehensive care team consisting of nursing staff, physician, licensed activity director and care assistants. They even sent a neuropsychologist to assess my father's mental status to assist us in identifying the appropriate level of care. On move in day, the team immediately made us feel like family. We were welcomed with balloons and confetti, a gift basket with my father's favorites snacks, and served us a family lunch after assisting us with the move in. We feel very comfortable moving our mom to the facility. The sales reps that we have had discussions with were able to answer all of questions. We can not wait until they open. It is a small beautiful property and looking forward having our mom as a resident there.

We have been looking for an assisted living facility for our 90+ year old parents for almost a year. Like everyone in our situation, we are concerned with the safety, well being and happiness of our loved ones. For a variety of reasons including amenities, age of facility, size of apartment and availability, we had not found a suitable site. When we met with Kim, Shelly and Matt and did a virtual tour, we knew we had found the right place. We were quite impressed with the rigor Mount Prospect Senior Living is putting into the safety and security of its residents, like state of the art Covid screening and visitation, mandatory safety devices, on site RN and other skilled workers, use of pill packs, etc. When it opens soon, MPSL will be a new, beautiful one of a kind assisted living center that will meet or exceed our needs. In a very short period of time Mt Prospect Senior Living has developed a remarkably responsive and compassionate culture. At virtually every level, from the senior executive, sales and nursing through the aides, waitstaff and concierge, the staff is open, engaging, thoughtful and kind. (Having managed CCRC's, this is a challenging outcome that is sought by many but achieved by few!) They practice their mantra of "least restrictive" setting at every point. Though requiring a more restrictive setting due to her dementia, my wife's integration into the larger community has gone well. We take our meals there, often with wine I have brought, and my wife has made several associations which she enjoys. That the food is served restaurant style and that it is so well prepared, especially the soups, is a huge plus. Five Stars!
