I thought id share what i like about my job at villas of Hollybrook and reflections i started working in healthcare 1978 i was young and didnt really know much about healthcare or the elderly now that im a elder i GET IT!! Now i understand that when the nurses would say dont call them sweety or hun because they are in a older body that dosent work like it used to but most of thier minds are still sharp like when they were young so ive learned through the yrs what true respect is and how they really feel about aging its impact we have on thier personal lifes and the homes that are thiers that we have the privlege to come and be a small part of thier lifes ive worked at alot of nursing homes skill care private lock down units physch wards hospitals met so many great people ive worked with and worked for this job isnt for everyone but if it is your heart will grow..and your knowledge will also grow along with compasion patience i have been with this company over a yr and its a beutiful comunity evetyone has great big hearts the owners have surrounded this bulding with christian based words and integrity the art work and scenery gives you that warm feeling that when you walk in its in your heart Yes i want to be a part of this.. all the staff gets together and we all become this well oiled awsome working team.. and the nurses they are awsome very experienced caring nurses with a love in thier hearts and our ED ..SHE IS THE BEST...she tries to make us all feel like we are the best so this is a most amazing place i love it here its like leaving home to come Home ..this is a wonderful work family and im proud to be a part of it and to serve this community...thankful Sandy Judge

I have been working here for about 7 months and I really love the atmosphere here. The residents are just beautiful and I love working at this facility. Easily the most clean place I have ever worked in my life. They have many activities for the residents to do here and staff that care about them deeply. My favorite job I've had.

A year ago September we moved my aunt and uncle to Holly Brook Mount Carmel. They have gotten nothing but hometown service since they’ve been there. The staff is extremely accommodating and very quick to provide care. Their 24 x 7 service is exactly that. We have had many occasions of falls and visits to the hospital and other miscellaneous needs and every single time the care staff has been right on top of the situation. Sherri consistently responds to emails day or night or weekends within minutes. She has truly dedicated her heart and soul to her work. She loves the residents as if they are her own family. During this difficult time of the pandemic and challenging staff needs Sherri steps in and does whatever job is necessary including cooking and cleaning… Tanya the Activity Director is equally dedicated and loving, and wears many hats. Our uncle is now in a nursing home so our aunt is there by herself but they spend extra time with her to make sure she is comfortable and not too lonely. They even transport her to visit him, which greatly helps with her peace of mind. The transition from home to assisted-living is monumental for our elderly and the Villas of Holly Brook at Mt. Carmel has gone above and beyond and we have no regrets about our decision.

I have worked in healthcare for 15 years and this one of the best facilities in the area. The residents thrive here. We have a state of the art facility and a caring and trained staff. Residents are able to age in place in their homes and keep their independence for as long as possible.
