The staff is very attentive and caring. They took great care of my grandmother and I even tried the food which was delicious!!! Everyone from the admissions lady brandy and to the social worker melanie and even the administrator were always available if I needed anything. Keep up the great work and I would recommend Mattoon rehab to anyone!!!

I was here for rehab after my amputation. The therapy department was excellent. When I went to physical therapy when I started walking on my prosthesis I was far ahead of what was expected. This was attributed to the excellent therapy received at Mattoon Rehab. Thanks Julie and Drea!

I have really enjoyed staying on Lotus Hall. They have some really good CNAs Terrica, Aniya Cassandra, Keshia, Krista, and Chantelle are my besties. The housekeepers Teri and sandy and cierra and Amanda and katie are amazing at keeping the halls and rooms nice and neat Jessica and the nurses are really good.

My own experience is assisting my brother at this facility with his needs and decisions. Staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful. Sometimes I wish the wheels of decisions and getting answers moved a little faster.

Cons: Facility is old, lacking supplies to do resident care, rooms are small and overcrowded, lack of housekeeping. The facility has two dogs one is friendly and the other is mean. Administrative staff and agency workers friendly, regular CNA's are standoffish.

My family has had nothing but the best care at MHC. Through the years we have had several family members in their care and would highly recommend. Their nurses truly care for the residents and work above and beyond.

I am very happy with Mattoon rehabilitation and Healthcare my only complaint is they need to check more often on a hospice patient and turn them every 1 to 2 hours and when they say they take care of something not tell a family member it's done when you come to visit ita not so.Butt other wise everything is great

I cannot express how glad I am that I decided to go to Mattoon Rehabilitation and Healthcare for a couple of weeks after my knee revision. The nursing staff, the wonderful food, the whole therapy department, absolutely everyone here has worked so hard for me and with me to reach my recovery goals!
