My wife was a resident in the Memory Care of Manito Lodge for fourteen months. During that time I was fortunate to know and call my friends, the staff at the Lodge. After researching several alternatives, before admitting my wife, I selected the lodge because I could see it had the small town approach to care and many of the staff were locals. This is what you want when you must entrust the care of a loved one into a 24/7 environment. I had visited other options and could see that the number of residents precluded that personal touch provided by fewer residents. My wife adapted to her new surroundings faster than we had anticipated and never asked to go home from day one. That says a lot about the environment provided at the lodge, more home, than institution, more friends, than simply caretakers. You may want to visit and see for yourself what the Lodge has to offer and then compare it to, what I call, "the big box caretakers".

My mother has been a resident of the Lodge for the past 10 months and our family could not be more pleased with the staff. They have gone over and above in facilitating her needs even upon request. The transition to the Lodge was a pleasure for our mother and she feels at home. Everyone that visits her give us rave reviews on how clean the Lodge is and the homey atmosphere. The Lodge at Manito is a must for anyone wanting their elder parent to live in a safe, clean, and warm place.

The staff, from the top down, are incredible. It's not easy making the adjustment to assisted living after years of independence. The patience, care, and genuine concern shown from all the workers has been extraordinary in our experience. "Shout outs" are hard to do here, because literally EVERYONE has been top notch. From Melissa, Robbie, Brandi with their nursing skills (ALL absolutely awesome) to Sue who helps in serving meals to Sandy and Shellie who Megan in the office (and beyond) who have been exceedingly helpful, and we could go on and on and on. A facility can have great food, cleanliness, activities, amenities, but if they don't have people who genuinely want to be there and who care about the residents, it all falls through the cracks. The employees at the Lodge are what has made the greatest impression on our family. My dad was there for several months before he passed. The staff is so caring and kind. As soon as you walk in the door the staff are so happy to greet you with a smile. All the staff went above and beyond to care for my father. He had Alzheimer's dementia and was very difficult at time but they always calmed him down. The facility is very clean and The food is excellent! Thank you, all the staff at the lodge at manito! You all Rock!

The Lodge at Manito is a very well maintained facility. The entire staff is friendly and very professional. The residents are well cared for and seemingly get along well together. As an entertainer that has performed there several times over the past few years, it is an absolute pleasure to perform for the residents and staff. Their events are also well prepared and fun to attend for residents, staff, and visitors. The facility is kept neat and tidy, both indoors and outdoors.

I play the piano there and really enjoy seeing everyone! The staff is very friendly! The place always looks nice and clean! Everyone seems happy to be there!! Paulet is very easy to work with and really cares for the residents there!

The minute you walk in the door , you are greeted with kind friendly staff, the kind that feels just like your family. Like a home the lodge of Manito always has a warm heart felt atmosphere making you feel like you belong here. When visiting , not only are the staff so kind and friendly , the tenants are always happy and talking to you as of your there for visit your grandparents. They are good about making you feel like your home. The name the Lodge fits right in here as when you visit a cozy fireplace setting makes the lodge name come to life with beautiful setting. There's no place like home. The staff makes you feel so welcome that it feels like your at a bed and breakfast. I could easily come in feel like I'm at home and never want to leave. This is exactly where I want my loved ones to go to if I needed to make that decision. And the additional perks get better and better when your struggling to decide on sending your loved one towns away or miles and miles away because they need more assistance or help, you don't have to go far at the Lodge because it's right here at home. The memory care unit gives you the best home environment and independence your loved one needs and their safety is the priority for both the staff and the family.

Great staff and facility! I wish every Assisted Living Center in the U.S. could model there Center after this one! Both of my parents lived there. They moved there last October and immediately the staff befroended them and really loved on them. Dad recently went home to be with the LORD and the staff wept with us. I've never seen any care center get so endeared to their residents. Now, they are caring for my Mom and being "family " to her. They all are so amazing. My familys experience with The Lodge at Manito exceeded our expectations. My dad lived there for approximately 9 months until he passed away. The staff members are the most caring, accommodating people I have ever met. Their care and concern for my dads comfort and wellbeing went above and beyond anything we could have imagined.
