I can't say enough about my stay at Beacon Hill Rehabilitation Center. It was like staying at a five-star hotel. My nurses Aurora, Patricia, Ethel, and Steve were very professional and able to answer any questions that I had. My medications were always on time and delivered with a smile and with a friendly demeanor. My CNAs, Elena, Tina, and Angel, were like very concerned friends, then nursing assistants. They were always willing to listen to my concerns and were willing to laugh at my lame jokes and stories. Your Therapy Department always pushed me to do my very best to achieve my goals. My Therapist's Rosalyn, Gifty, Jesus, Melissa, and Juan. The Kitchen Department, what can I say the menu was never the same. If I didn't like something, they went out of their way to please me. I loved the omelets with cheese and mushrooms. The food was like ordering from a well loved family style restaurant. I asked where the cafe was located as I would dine there. The servers, Lindita, Billy, and Joe, always had a pleasant attitude and would get me anything I needed. My favorite cleaning lady, Patricia, always found time to have a little conversation as she thoroughly cleaned the room. On this subject, I would like to add that I, as a kid, I worked in a nursing home as a janitor, and we could never get the smell of urine out. Beacon Hill never smelled of urine. To conclude, when I was leaving everyone that I mentioned and some that I might have forgotten found time out in their busy day to come into my room and say goodbye to me. So I consider these people my family and when I am able to drive I will come and visit them. Thank you all for a very wonderful stay. Jeff Keyes

I have lived here now for 8+ years and will gladly tell anyone that this is one of the best decisions that we have made for ourselves and our children. We have a wonderful life here at Beacon Hill with great neighbors, a beautiful well kept residential apartment that gives us the freedom to come and go as we like to enjoy all sorts of activities, programs, dining venues, and events on the property or take off on our own and travel. In addition, we have the peace of mind knowing that we have a life care contract that gives us access to a 5 star Medicare approved Health Care Center if the unforeseen would happen medically. We haven't lived in this area for many years, and we now enjoy the vibrancy of our Southwest Chicago Suburbs and all they offer. My husband took the lead in looking for a place for us to retire looking at lots of life care retirement communities, considering their financial status, the state of their health care center, and overall residential programming. After almost a decade, we continue to feel like we made a great decision.

Beacon Hill of Lombard is the place for your loved one. Here's why: Every staff person warmly greets residents and responds to their needs quickly. Residents are the friendliest. Upon my arrival, I was immdeiately invited to dinner and was offered assistance with any or all inquires. Food is fabulous along with many amenities and an aesthetic environment. I have lived at Beacon Hill for 18 years, it was the best decision we ever made. Staff takes such good care of us, so many activities and so many dear friends. Our kids say moving here was the best gift we could have ever given them

Beacon Hill is a NON-profit retirement community (correcting someone's earlier post). I studied 12 communities over 5 years before selecting BH, head & shoulders above the rest. Camaraderie. Excellent food. Lots of activities.

My parents have a very nice 2 bedroom unit at Beacon Hill. They have lived here for 7 years and my mother is now 92 and my father is 95. I live 4 hours away and come every 2 weeks. I am thankful everyday that they made the decision move to Beacon Hill from their 4 bedroom home. They have friends and activities. There is a wonderful doctor that they can see on Tuesdays right in the building at her clinic. Physical therapy is available upstairs. They dine in the dining room with different friends every night. Staff is kind. I was able to EASILY arrange someone to come and help get my mom dressed and showered 3 times a week. Really grateful!

When planning a move to the East coast, I worried about the distance preventing me from visiting my mom regularly, especially if she needed me in a medical emergency. Beacon Hill is a great comfort. I know she is safe, has robust social connections, is busy and enjoys choosing from many on-site and off-site activities, and the future planning with multiple levels of care (should a medical situation occur) will provide her with appropriate, supportive care.

So far, completely impressed with the staff, their genuine concern for the patients and all the activities. I also feel of all most importance is our mom is safe here, we can sleep at night confident that she is safe. The food looks pretty darn good too!

For the past six years, Ive been a very happy and satisfied resident of Beacon Hill in Lombard, IL. Its one of the best decisions Ive made for my Golden Years! I have a beautiful and comfortable apartment, and my neighbors are now my very good friends. My calendar is filled with many activities that I actively participate in, and that I can attend as a spectator. My days here are very busy and fulfilled with much living and learning. But ... I do make time to write, which I really enjoy doing — poems, stories and Im also working on my memoir — this allows me to enjoy some peace and quiet. I could fill this whole page with compliments to all the fantastic staff here who make the many wonderful amenities available to us. I think you get the picture ... Beacon Hill is truly a Masterpiece in Living It is one of the LIFESPACE Retirement Communities.

My mother has lived at Beacon Hill for many many years. This place has remained a positive atmosphere of life and vitality. I always thought that it wasn't only the residents who displayed this, but also a staff that really cared and seemed to enjoy working there. It is a true community. I have appreciated the attention to detail to strive toward honor, dignity, compassion and respect to the residents. The community weathered some major renovations and changes in leadership, and has managed the challenges while trying to maintain that same atmosphere. Like everyone else, this community has worked hard to manage COVID, for a high risk population, and Praise God that the community has remained safe. Thank you Beacon Hill!

Been working as a Recreational Therapist for 18yrs. I have been working with seniors for the past 7yrs, and Beacon Hill truly has the motto I follow and urge my residents to follow daily; Living Life to the fullest. The residents and team members at Beacon Hill are some of the best. Residents are always up for new exciting adventures as well as building a community that cares for each other. The team members show true compassion and enjoy coming to work daily. It is more than a Senior Living community; we are a family that takes care of each other. We share our stories, memories, our good and our bad. We have each others back and truly show what it mean to live life to the fullest.

Friendly, caring, well run community that looks out for all aspects of our wellbeing; spiritual, physical, social and mental. So grateful to live here.

April 2020
We have been living at Beacon Hill for over a year now, and it is GREAT! enjoy the many, many activities available (more than we could possibly take part in, but there is something for everyone), the food is delicious, the staff (teams) are most friendly and accommodating, and the location is very good for us: between our doctors and church. and not far from some of our family. 🙂 In our search, we compared 5 retirement communities in our area, looking for only those that provided all 4 levels of care: independent living, assisted in living, nursing care and memory care. Beacon Hill was number 1 on our list after examining the following: ownership, amenities, and cost.. We love our apartment and the residents here that we have met. Thank you, Beacon Hill, for being here.
April 2020
Super friendly and attentive staff! The place is immaculate and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere to meet and make new friends. Theres a large and beautiful dining area and the food is delicious (lots of variety)! Starbucks coffee on site, if youre a coffee drinker. Additionally, theres a large swimming pool, locker rooms, garden, workout center, and walking trails! Feels and looks like youre in a resort!
