Excellent location for elderly family members. Excellent food, exquisite decor, and a large choice of on-site services. ( Physician office hours, beauty and barber care, multiple dining opportunities, library, full range of activities, transportation, and a bank and ATM.) really good security, and the concierge staff is really helpful. The campus is peaceful, gorgeous, and has welcoming programs that will make your loved ones feel at home. The only drawbacks are that there is intense rivalry to get in, that there might not be space in Assisted Living or Memory Care when that becomes necessary, and that the independent living side's elevators move a little slowly.

My mother who lives in Sun City, AZ called me the other day and wants to move here. She is a life long Catholic and wants to be cared for from a facility such as this. I keep telling her that i will look into this place to verify she could be cared for properly. my mother who has Multiple Sclerosis is not able to car for herself on a daily basis and needs help with basis daily needs. Im not sure this place can help. Is this strictly an Assisted living facility only?

This is a beautiful place with wonderful people. My mother-in-law loves it there. And they have done a great job keeping everyone healthy and safe during the pandemic.

My mother, who is 85 years old, was diagnosed with dementia of 2019. She lived by herself at her home until she forgot she was running water for a bath. It was at that point, that my brothers and even my mom said she couldnt live by herself anymore. Normally people are very reluctant to move into an assisted facility, but my mom actually picked this place out about a year ago. Getting her in during Covid was not easy, but Phyllis Kramer worked with us non stop for several days, finding an apartment for her. There were many covid related things we needed to get done, and afterwards she got in.I must say that my mother is so happy she chose VSB as her memory care facility. My brothers and i also have definite peace of mind knowing my mom is getting the absolute best care. From the paperwork that needed to be done, to the move in everything went smoothly. My mother loves the food here as well. Shes actually put on a few pounds. The nursing staff and the CNAs are top notch. They do above and beyond. Theyre also doing a great job with their Covid rules.Everyday the residents get a calendar of events for the day, and my mom is gone all day trying new things, walking the grounds which are amazing, and sounds so happy when we speak with her. Shes a whole new person. We have bi monthly meetings with a member from each department to discuss how my mom is, and her progression with the disease.I no longer have to worry about her non stop, and were so very grateful for everyone at VSB.

VSB has a friendly, helpful and responsible staff. VSB was a terrific home for my mother in law for 2 years. From the day she moved in to the day she left to move into our home; everyone made her and our family feel welcome. From the staff to the friendly residents...all had smiles, open arms (now being socially distant responsible!) and fun stories of their experiences living together at VSB. My mother in law said I wish I had moved in sooner!

Since my dad has moved into Villa St. Benedict he is so much happier and always busy! I have piece of mind knowing he is safe and having great food to eat daily. The whole staff is so friendly and helpful. Thank you for all you do for my dad!!

Excellent place to care for aging relatives. Beautifully designed, superior food, wide range of services available on premises. ( Physician office hours, beauty and barber care, multiple dining opportunities, library, full range of activities, transportation, and a bank and ATM.) Excellent security, the Concierge staff are exceptionally helpful. Quiet, beautiful campus with lovely views, and well designed programs to make your loved ones feel welcome. The only critiques are that there's great competition to get in, and there may not be room in Assisted Living or Memory Care when that becomes appropriate, and the elevators on the Independent living side are a bit on the slow side.
