Victorian Village is outstanding they earned 5 star plus. My family entrusted my Moms care to Victorian Village. My mother went through rehabilitation center and transferred to assisted living. Both centers staff was caring and understanding to our needs and concerns. When we communicated they where quick to respond and very easy to talk to. Victorian Village through the hole process was supportive. Nurses are very caring about the residents, I witnessed on daily base. On several occasions, I witnessed Nurses and Assistants went above the call of duty. I just can't say enough about service and dedication to care of residents. I would use Victorian Village again if needed. Thank You.

My husband stayed at Victorian Village while he was rehabilitating from knee and shoulder surgery. He also had a picc line in which he was given antibiotics three times a day. Our entire family couldn't have been more satisfied with the care that he received. Everyone at Victorian Village was kind, considerate, efficient, and took care of his every need. The facility is well maintained, it's clean, secure, and had everything he needed to begin rehab recovery. We are so grateful to his nurses, CNA's, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. We would highly recommend Victorian Village to any family in need.

While I found ALL members of the Victorian Village staff to always present themselves in an extremely professional, effective, and attentive manner, I want to especially commend two individuals. Virtually every time I engaged with Kymara Booker and Michelle Lewandowski, I was treated like my dad was the only patient in the facility. I never felt rushed or that I was imposing myself upon them when discussing any one of the many matters or concerns that I brought to them. Indeed, they were more attentive and helpful than I have the talent to relate here. Victorian Village is fortunate in the extreme to count them among their most dedicated and valued employees. My husband stayed here. Rehab is either poor or non existent. Most therapists are in a hurry to do the least theraphy possible. Older nurses helpful..younger cna's play on their phones. Food is good. Don't bring anything good there....husband woke up to nurses or helper rummaging through his chest of drawers. Clothes and leg brace missing. Don't send loved ones there!

Although the facilities are clean from what I could see, the security for the independent living building needs improvement. Anybody can walk in there. Also, are the residents evaluated to determine the suitability for independent living? Is it an ongoing evaluation? I doubt it, since I know a lady who lives there and isn't fit to be in independent living -but is! She fell in the hallway and had to wait on the floor to gain strength to get up. No one ever came to her aid. She barely eats....

If you want the best, Victorian Village in Homer Glen is where I would send any loved one. They make you feel like you're right at home and never left. The food served daily is always delicious, and I've never had a complaint. The staff members take their time to know you, and you can feel the passion when caring for any patient. The care that's given is AMAZING! Walking in is like a breath of fresh air. The cleanliness of the facility is superb! I would recommend anyone to them & know you are all in great hands!

I am currently a Rehab patient here at Victoria Village. I arrived here on Friday, February 14, 2025 and scheduled to be discharged on March 11th. The Care I’m receiving has been exemplary!Everyone is kind, caring, understanding , and helpful. However, I must acknowledge two Care Partners who, in my opinion, are at the top of their game! They are, 1. Kathy, who works the morning shift, and 2. Jazz, who works afternoons. Thank you both!! Now, for what is most important to most. How’s the food?. My answer is. Great! I’m not kidding.. patients are given a menu, from which to choose their meals for the following day! The food is prepared fresh, in the main kitchen, and delivered at meal time. I’m glad I chose Victorian Village, in Homer, Glen, Illinois, as the rehab facility for my recent injury.

Great place to have your family member in, truly warm, loving family environment. This community is well managed, very clean, with wonderful activities, caring nursing staff and great management. This is a five star assisted living community perfect for our loved one.

My Mom was a patient in the post-acute rehabilitation building. The staff made it a wonderful experience. They treated her with kindness and went the extra mile to ensure she was always comfortable during her stay. The administrator, Jamie, checked in on her and ensured her needs were met and expectations exceeded. I highly recommend Victorian Village for short term rehabilitation or long term care.

Our family member was a resident of Victorian for 3 years and we were very pleased with facilities and staff. The staff always showed our parent respect and cared for her well. Would recommend Victorian independent, assisted and memory care accommodations, we utilized them all.

My aunt has been living here since January 2023. She started in memory care and moved on to assisted living for a brief period and is currently in independent living. I can not say enough good things about Victorian Village. All of the staff has been so helpful. They have really been instrumental in helping my aunt to get to where she is today. Debbie DeMaar has been wonderful. Wendy is fantastic. Tammy is always very helpful. All of the campus care folks are so amazing too. I gave it a five star rating because there weren’t any more stars to give. Thank you to all of you for your kindness and compassion that you give each day. God Bless all of your staff.

Our Aunt has been in Victorian Village since early January 2023! We can’t say enough about our experience! The staff is wonderful! Tammy at the front desk is amazing, always happy and ready to help! Wendy is the nurse and she is so kind and patient. She is also very easy to reach if we have a question! Debbie DeMaar has gone above and beyond to help us with everything we need! She is very knowledgeable and always helpful. She always makes us all laugh! Yvonne is our Aunt’s campus care giver is fabulous! She is so full of energy and always smiling. The meals have been delicious and plentiful. We are very grateful for everyone who has made this transition so easy and smooth. We highly recommend The Victorian Village to everyone! Thank you to all of the employees and volunteers!

My father has been in the memory care unit for 3 1/2 years and hasn't complained yet. He loves the staff. I love the staff. They have a very difficult job but manage to do excel at it while all the time being helpful and professional.

I have had, and continue to have, wonderful experiences with VV. I helped move an uncle and aunt in their 90s to the Independent living a few years back. There was some adjustment at first but my uncle now calls his apartment His castle’. When Aunt Marge declined in health they were moved to the assisted living building for a month until she passed, and while we were at her funeral, VV kindly moved Uncle Andy back to his apartment in The Grand so when we returned he settled right back in there. Those were some rough months when Aunt Marge was ill, but the staff there were so incredibly helpful through it all! I can’t say enough good things about that! I truly felt that family feel’ there for my uncle and aunt. My uncle still thanks me for talking him into moving there

My mother broke her neck and has a neck brace. Was sent to Victorian Village for rehab. We met her there waiting for her arrival. We're told we were unable to see her because she need 14 day isolation, Sharon reassured us she would b taken care of, nursing supervisor came down, said she has a I phone and we could face time with her, told no one has an I phone, we'll find someone with one, she had to go went in for her purse came out and left. Maybe she was late picking up her lunch. I called a number of times to check up on her. Nurses to busy to talk to me. Spoke to my mom she said she asked to be boosted up in bed to try to eat, told that it takes 2 people and there was no one to help. Mom said she need O2 she couldn't breath. I have power of attorney and was never called. Spoke to Maria told her that the aid said she couldn't t Be pulled up because there was no one to help, Marias response was I'm unaware of that asked aid and she said yeah. Asked Maria why I wasn't called about her shortness of breath and O 2 being needed, her response was I was Unaware of that Maria then told me she wasn't going to talk to me because I was getting verbally aggressive have a nice day and hug up. This is totally not acceptable to me. Called Frank Guajardo, Executive Director left a message not the waiting game starts. I am so sorry she is there to get help and is not gething it. What is going on.

Sometimes people think that when staff leave a review they are just being biased, but I can confidently say that I wouldn't still be with Providence/ Victorian Village after so many years if it wasn't a wonderful place to be! This Christian community has strong core values and the staff here truly care and want to make a difference. We know being in a rehab or nursing facility isn't the same as being at home, but when you need that level of care, this sure is a nice place to be. The Small Homes have only 10 private rooms each, so it is much more personal and Rehab is only 30 private rooms so that too is more of a home -like atmosphere. Many of our management team members have many years of experience here and go above and beyond to make someone's stay the best it can be.

My 95-year-old mom has been in assisted living at Victorian Inn for over 3 years now. The facilities are comfortable and excellently maintained plus my very picky mother loves the food. The nursing and care staff is also excellent as are the physicians and nurse practitioners who visit. There is also a good physical therapy facility there if one is needed. From the Administrative staff to the receptionists I don't think you will find a more compassionate group of people.

I chose Victorian village for my dad after he fell at another rehab facility. They took excellent care of my dad. The room were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive. I wish I would have had him here from the beginning.

My father has been here for rehab for the last 2 weeks and he loves it! I cannot say enough good things about the staff. He says the food is very good and the care he receives is excellent. I visit him everyday I watch the way the Staff interacts with the other residents and I am very impressed. I am a nurse myself and Can rest easy knowing that he is getting very good care. The facility is very clean!

I love this place! You can have every level of care here without moving to a different community. The staff is top-notch--very compassionate and skilled. There's so much for everyone to do here--I can't say enough about what a great place this is to live.

I can't say enough about the way in which the staff and leadership have cared for my parents at the Victorian Village. The environment here is friendly, warm and inviting. The facility is kept neat and clean. The staff are caring and respectful to the clients. There are wonderful activities throughout the week for the residents. Dave Tiemersma and his staff helped us navigate through some tough transitional times with such professionalism, love, and grace. Bravo! If you are looking for a loving and healthy environment for your "treasure" Look no further.
