The staff and cooks were very nice to my Mom! But when she started to slip they called us and said she had to leave. We drove down there and told us she had to be out by the weekend. I stated she had paid for the whole month. It was great until they got rude at the very end. We were shocked and being out of town had to move fast. It was very emotionally hard for us.

I want to thank Treva the cooks and the staff at Brookstone for all they do for their residents. A perfect example is last week they had a farm to table lunch. All the vegetables were grown locally. The residents , my Mom included, helped shuck the corn, hull the peas and snap the green Beans. They were then served a Lambert style choice lunch with thrown Rolls. It was wonderful and my Mom cant quit talking about it. This is just one of the nice things they do there. Thank you Melanie Bradley. A daughter who is blessed to have her Mother there.

They have excellent staff. Nice clean facility. Friendly, good food, get to know the residents and families on a one on one basis. It is strictly an assisted living. They do NO hands on care. They can't even apply a bandaid. It is a great stepping stone place for your family members to go.

I like that they gave me a full-fledged tour when I visited. But the really bad thing was that they were completely full. This community was a little darker looking with darker fabric colors. It wasnt really bright and cheerful as other places. They had a different style of furnishings compared to other places, it was a really country feel to it. It looked nice and they have nice rooms. The one thing I didnt like is that the rooms didnt have an open concept. The rooms were petitioned off and felt boxed off.

Everything is going quite well for my mom at Brookstone! The facility is well maintained and the staff are doing a great job with my mom. The food is also just fine for her. Overall, we are very pleased with her stay!
