My grandpa and my great grandma were both residents. It was home! Beautiful facility and everyone treated them like they were their own grandparents. If you’re looking stop this is the place. Lots of Love and gratitude for all you do!

Love the staff their. I walked in one day so upset, didnt know where to go to help my aunt. The staff took me in and calmed my heart. She was awesome. Just the answers I needed. My family member resided at the heritage about a year and a half, until she passed on. More assisted living facilities should look at the Heritages example. They were awesome with me and my family member. My only suggestion would be to have additional elevators.

Feel very happy and comfortable with having our father at Heritage Woods. His health and safety has assisted his health and well being. It is satisfying to see him so happy. We also really enjoy visiting with residents and other staff members. We like being part of the facility and enter acting with everyone. It is so great to eat with our father and enjoy meal times together. Appreciate everyone.

I had two relatives stay at Heritage Woods in Flora, IL my Aunt and Uncle . My experience when I walked in was a homey feel. I felt at ease with them living there. If they ever needed anything someone was always there to help. The meals prepared were also great and they always kept the place warm and inviting. The apartment rooms they had were very nice and spacious. Staff was always very polite. My Aunt, Uncle, and the relatives close to them including myself was very pleased with Heritage Woods of Flora, IL. If you or your family member is ever in need of an assisted living please do not hesitate to contact this place. I feel you will be very pleased.

Was just passing threw with family due to medical reasons and I could not be more pleased for a small town they sure kept to there name. Humble friendly and clean! and the cooking was amazing! but A cleaner named Anissa I think was best of all she was the only one to get my grandmother to really smile. thanks for the short trip

No Christmas is complete without the Christmas tree contest held annually at Heritage Woods. It warms my heart seeing the residents compete against each other and have good clean fun. Activities such as Wii bowling and live music is important for keeping their minds active as well. I wish many years of continued success for Heritage Woods and their staff!

One of the hardest things I have ever done was make the decision to take my 92y/o Father out of his home and put him into assisted living after the death of my Mother. Little did I know it would be the best decision I ever made. The building itself is beautiful, but the staff are amazing and they are what makes the building a home. The Administration staff was so understanding of our concerns and emotions and made the transition so smooth for him and us! The nursing staff are so helpful and always greet Dad with a smile and assist him as he needs. They have an activity schedule that is out of this world! Family is invited to share in several special activities which my Dad enjoys. I know he is in the best place in Clay County. He loves the meals, his apartment, the staff... everything about Heritage Woods of Flora! He is happy and thriving and thats what means the most to us! Thank you Heritage Woods for taking care of our Dad! We will forever be grateful!

It is with great pleasure that I write this review about Heritage Woods! Grandma June moved into her studio apartment last November and since that time we have been very excited and pleased with all she has been doing and all the places she has been going! We were concerned as she had just lost her husband and it was a new community and a new place to live. She adjusted quickly due to the caring people who work there--all she has to do is rest and relax--they prepared her meals and snacks, clean her apartment, do her laundry and there is a beauty shop and manicures. She enjoys the church services, the friends she has made and all the wonderful activities. Thank you Lucas and Valerie for all you do..it is a great place to live and we don't have to worry with the 24 hour staff!

My Mother has been living in heritage woods for 2 years now. I wouldn't recommend any other place but here. The staff is very compassionate and always makes her feel at home when the family is not able to be there. They feed her well, keep her room clean, and are an overall amazing facility. My Mother is in great hands when it comes to this place!
