This is a beautiful place to see... I was fortunate because my long-time friend, who was in town at the time helping her sister move into her new apartment, invited me on a tour of the entire area. Lots of accommodations. Lots of amenities. You don't need to leave for anything unless you just want to go shopping. This building should be built in different states, of course, to accommodate seniors, in my opinion. I liked everything about it, especially the continental breakfast and movie theater, with the popcorn. Oh, and the beautiful pool setting on top of the building where you look out and see the beautiful Lake.

Nice facilities. The apartment I saw was poorly designed with very little room in the living room area, no tub -only a shower and it was right on the train. It is located in walking distance of Northwestern Urgent Care and the businesses and restaurants on Sherman Avenue in Evanston.

The Avidor is an amazing to live! I moved here in October 2023 and have had a great time. The events are engaging and inclusive, and the staff and residents are welcoming. It a wonderful place for adults 55 and older to call home!

Location, location, location- just minutes' walk from everything downtown Evanston has to offer! The property boasts fantastic resort-style amenities and has an engaging resident-life program. The unit is spacious, modern, and offers everything I could need and more. The staff is super accommodating, and do their best to make everyone feel at home. I am so fortunate to call this place home.

My husband and I stayed at Avidor Evanston where our friends live in their guest suite for 5 days while in town for our Northwestern University reunion. It was such a delight to take in the Avidor lifestyle and attend one of the events. We had an amazing experience including their beautiful rooftop pool deck, you can see clearly all over the Chicago area including the skyline of downtown. The location couldn't be anymore perfect, just steps away from great restaurants, shopping, Lake Michigan Lakefront, Purple Line, Metra and of course our alma mater, Northwestern. The staff here welcomed us with open arms, friendly & hospitable. I would recommend Avidor for anyone 55+ moving to the area, the apartments are beautifully appointed and the community has many amenities & events to keep you busy on a daily basis. Our friends are very happy here, we will consider Avidor for our future years to come.

I'm not much for writing reviews however I had such an excellent tour at Avidor Evanston today so I want to take moment to share my experience. I am an active 63 year old and was concerned that an Active Adult 55 and older apartment building was some sort of code name for a "Retirement Home". Turns out that I was wrong. I met with a leasing agent named James. He showed me all of the building amenities such as the 18th floor outdoor pool, gym facilities, along with the contemporary entertainment rooms on the 1st and 18th floor for the residents. There are lots of activities to choose from each month so that should be fun. The apartments are also impressive with floor to ceiling windows, balconies with impressive views, washer and dryer in every apartment, and everything still looks brand new. It helps that the building is only 3 years old. I now have the motivation I needed to get my home sold and live the easy life at Avidor Evanston.

What an exceptional community. Upon stepping foot into the building, I was immediately impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The apartments themselves are spacious, well-designed, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. From the modern kitchen appliances to the safety features like grab bars in the bathroom, it is evident that careful thought was put into the comfort and convenience of the residents. If you are a senior looking for an enriching and enjoyable retirement lifestyle, I wholeheartedly recommend this community.

Avidor is a phenomenal place to live,one I'm proud to call home. It's a welcoming community supported by professional staff who treat you like family. The building is equipped with countless amenities and offers activities. The location is perfect and allows access to to nearby attractions.

I've only been here a few weeks, and I'm still amazed to find myself living in such a beautiful place. The most perfectly designed apartment, spacious closets and bathrooms, gorgeous kitchen, brand new top quality appliances - it's still like a dream to me. Lovely view through the floor to ceiling windows, my own balcony. The management and staff are so kind and professional. The residents are very welcoming and friendly. The more-than-generous move-in incentives at Avidor Evanston enabled me to furnish my apartment with newly bought furniture with the money I saved. I'm paying less than I was paying at my previous location, and there is no comparison between the apartment I had there, and the piece of heaven that I have here!

Living at The Avidor is better than I ever imagined it would be! The entire building is very well designed. I especially love how beautiful my apartment is. The views out my windows and from my balcony are spectacular. The friendly, helpful staff is fabulous. They always treat me so wonderfully, and they are also always friendly and welcoming to my guests. My grandkids love coming over for dinner and game nights in the rooftop club and for movie nights in the theater. I've enjoyed many of the regularly-scheduled activities, like the flower arranging and the exercise classes. I appreciate that there's always a complimentary breakfast each morning and happy hours several times a week. From Bingo to live music performances to holiday events, there is always something on the schedule. I'm looking forward to participating in more group activities, now that we've all been vaccinated. During the pandemic, I have felt very safe here because The Avidor has made every effort to keep safety their top priority, while also continuing to offer social opportunities safely.

I could not be more pleased. My husband just passed away and I did not want to live in our home by myself. I knew I wanted an apartment in an urban setting but I also wanted one with a sense of community within the building. I am still employed full time. The Avidor has proven to be the perfect place. With Covid, there isn't a lot of socializing but everyone has been so friendly. I can just imagine what it will be like when the pandemic is more under control. The pool, happy hour, etc - I will be a regular. And, the icing on the cake is the fitness center. For the first time in my life, my workout has become part of my daily routine.

From the day I saw the construction sign, I knew Avidor was going to be my future home. I was looking for a vibrant community with a college town being a bonus. Evanston met the criteria for what I was searching and I wanted to be closer to family. You become a certain age where renting makes more sense because you leave the upkeep and maintenance to someone else. It feels good to know that I made the correct decision. The staff was so accommodating and outstanding in helping to make this smooth transition. I cannot say enough positive things about Avidor and its staff. They are amazing! Proud to be an Avidorian!!

I moved in here on May 1, so it's only been a little while, but the building is brand new, the staff is very helpful, people have been very friendly so far, and there are more activities than I can possibly make it to. I'm looking forward to a long stay here, and would recommend it to anyone else.
