From the moment we met with Nicole for a tour, my mom felt welcomed, heard and truly cared for. Everyone at the Victory Center is very caring and helpful. My mom feels safe and secure which means the WORLD to our family. Shout out to the nursing staff and CNA’s - they are very on top of my mom’s medicine management and well being. My mom looks forward to seeing them everyday! Her apartment is kept clean and tidy and her laundry is always done in a timely manner. The Victory Center has truly been a blessing. . .

Went to visit my grandma at the victory center. The lady at the front desk was very nice and made sure to tell us how to get to my grandmas room. The hallways are very clean, and it was cute seeing how everyone had their front doors decorated. The room itself is very spacious, lots of room to add your own things and decorate how you please. My grandma has a big beautiful window in her room for all her plants which she loves. The kitchen is the perfect size, and the bathroom is huge, very wheelchair friendly. Everything is very clean, and staff seem very nice. We enjoyed some time out by the gazebo as well. Definitely feel very comfortable with my grandma being there, she is so happy and I love hearing her stories about her new friends and the activities she does! Thank you staff @ the Victory Center ’

In touring multiple places and doing extensive research on care, Ive found that Victory Centre had exceeded my expectations both from a financial and medical standpoint. Every place has obstacles its unavoidable BUT, if there's a concern for the last 2 years my Mom has been here, they have tried to accommodate her and make things right. There is a whole group of Loving, Compassionate and kind people that love what they do, and they show up EVERYDAY to Victory Centre of Elk Grove.

After taking a look around Victory Centre, my family and I have fallen in love with this facility. The residents are lovely, and the staff is welcoming. You can really feel the community vibe when you step in.

Victory Centre is going through a transition from taking over Alexian Village. My personal experience has to do with the incredible nursing staff and caregivers. Rachel, D.O.N., Rowena, Leslie, Erna, and Michele took unbelievable care of my mom, especially when she needed it the most. They made her feel safe and loved. I also want to give a shout-out to Helen in the reception area. She was always there to help coordinate any of my needs for my mom and was very pleasant to work with. If I had to rate just these people and their respective jobs, for sure, it would've gotten a 5 star review! Thanks to all of you for your professionalism and caring natures. I truly appreciate you.

One of my parents had been at this facility when it was Alexian Village (owned by Pathways). After the sale to Grand Lifestyles the the quality of everything that matters fell. Dinners that were once balanced meals became hot dogs, chicken fingers, sandwiches or nachos with soup. Carpets filthy and stained, the dining room floors and tables sticky, lobby furniture dirty and shabby. Staffing reduced considerably; we found that there were nights that ONE staff member was on duty for well over 100 residents. The nursing staff has turned over repeatedly; one was there for roughly 2 months until they quit because they said they didn't sign on for the level of work expected, and warned that the level of care the residents were receiving was lacking. Residents have few to no activities inside or outside of the facility, the bus that takes them to the stores is often broken. In summation, if you are planning to pay rent here, you'd be serving your parents better by putting them in a good facility until the money runs out, then working with them to find a Medicaid-accepted facility if ever need be.

My grandmother lived there for 6 years. She was happy with her apartment, nurses and staff. I was so glad that I could trust she was safe and cared for. Visit your family often and find out what they need. This facility always worked with us to give my grandmother the best. The only thing that could be improved is the food. Thank you Helen for being the smile when we entered and the smile when we left.

My nana lives there and she is mostly satisfied with the experience there. The staff seems helpful for the most part, but there seems to be issues there too.
