Alexian Village is such a warm, caring community. My mother has been a resident there for over 9 years. Over that time, her health has declined. She has received excellent care throughout all the stages of her progressive dementia. Everyone that works there is so kind--they care for the residents as if they were their own family.

My nana lives there and she is mostly satisfied with the experience there. The staff seems helpful for the most part, but there seems to be issues there too.

Alexian Village is truly a blessing. My dad was welcomed in and started making friends from the day we walked through and took a tour. He settled right in and felt comfortable getting involved right away. He's happier and by extension healthier than I've seen him in years.

I toured this facility when looking for a place for my parents to go so my experience was limited to just that. But everything was nice, the people seemed to be gracious, and everything seemed to be clean, which was the first thing I noticed. As soon as I walked in, there was no terrible odor or anything like at some other facilities you might see. I didnt pick up on anything unpleasant. They take public aid but they dont provide Alzheimers care, which is something that my parents were going to need so unfortunately this community didnt work for us, though it is where I wouldve preferred to put my parents. They showed me a sample room that seemed nice but the windows were kind of small and the room seemed a little bit darker than other places I had taken a look at.

All the staff at Alexian Village have been so caring for my dad. He's been there several years. When he was gone for a month after surgery and rehab, the reception he got from staff brought tears to my eyes. Great place!
