My mom has been living at Saxony Court for 18 months and has truly grown to call this her home. She has found many friends and enjoys the community she has found here. The facility is very clean and adorned with lovely decor each season. The remodel has added many new features that have enhanced the facility. The staff is very caring and has shown great kindness to my mom. They are always available to help and answer questions. Saxony Ct had an outstanding and enthusiastic audience, helpful staff at every turn, a beautifully decorated and themed home with a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our River Valley Big Band’s concert in March. We love playing for a great audience!! Thank you all for your kindnesses. Hope this music brought you a little joy and memories of dancing the night away. A special shout-out to Melissa Schaeffer, Life Enrichment Director, who shines in organizational skills and brings her own enthusiasm into enriching everyone’s life at Saxony Court in East Peoria, Illinois. My father has lived at Saxony Court for the past year, and we are so happy with it. I visit him frequently and observe the level of care and friendliness that all of the staff exhibit. Everyone knows my dad by name and they seem to very genuinely enjoy talking with him. Whenever I have a question, the leadership team is very responsive and professional. They have been working on remodeling the facility and and looks really nice. I am always impressed with the number of activities available. It gives me great peace of mind to know he is living in a place where I know he is well taken care of!

While traveling out-of-state I suffered an accident which damaged my ribs. Pain management and time were required before I could travel home. I stayed at the Saxony Court of East Peoria and this recuperating time and cannot recommend them highly enough. Every staff member, without exception, was friendly, attentive and helpful, going much further than required to be helpful. They all knew and remembered who I was and would interrupt themselves to be helpful if I needed it. I am most grateful to all of them. The facility has undergone serious renovation and is clean, attractive and easily functional. My thanks to all of you

I have my Mom and my Mother-In-Law both at Saxony Court East Peoria and we couldn't be happier with the facility. Great food, entertainment everyday, church service offered, staff is so friendly and knows knows everyone by name. On Saturday they had a Mother's Day brunch and it was amazing, compliments to the Chef the food was delicious. All staff members were there assisting and all had welcoming smiles for the Moms and families. I just want to say Thank You to everyone at Saxony for making my Mom and Mother-In-Laws so comfortable and happy.

I recently visited Saxony Court to learn more about what they offered in senior living. I was blown away by the staff, who were very knowledgeable about their residents. There were so many activities and outings happening, and the newly remodeled main level was beautiful! It’s affordable and offers all stages of care under one roof.

Mom recently stayed at Saxony Court Senior living for several days while my husband and I were traveling. The studio apartment she stayed in was comfortably furnished and was, in her words "all that I need". There was even a welcome basket for her. She raved about the staff who provided care for her and checked in on her several times daily. Our experience has been OUTSTANDING! We felt respected and were made to feel that our needs were of utmost importance from the very first phone conversation with Bailey to the day Mom came home. Mom will be staying at Saxony Court SL again in the near future. I am relieved that she will be in good hands.

I have seen a great change in what used to be Generations, now that Saxony has taken control of the well being of the residents and management of the facilities and greatly improved amenities. This new leadership is a blessing to those who are already living at Saxony... and I am sure a blessing for those to come. The absolute best part of the new change is that sweet lady who literally held our hand and walked us through the process.

We had a 4th of July party on July 2nd. It was so much fun. We had a picnic outside. They had ( LIVE MUSIC) for entertainment. Also a dunk tank and a bouncy house for the kids. The person in the dunk tank was your own maintenance man (MIKEY). They had a raffle, with 4 prizes. Things are opening up now.

Riverview Independent living units and dining room areas are 1st class. It is a great facility for a person with little or no mobility issues. If you require assistance, it is available by way of a care package that is provided by a separate company and you only have one company to choose from at the facility. Beware of this service. Wait time for assistance is more often than not way beyond reasonable.

My husband, Bob, had stroke in April of 2003 that left him paralyzed on the right side. In August of 2016 he had another slight stroke and spent several weeks in a nursing home for therapy. At that time my daughter suggested we move somewhere for help as needed. After looking at a few places we decided on Riverview. We liked the locations and friendly people we talked to. The kids did some painting and we put our house up for sale. When it sold in two days I felt we had made the right decision. We moved into our one bedroom apartment at Riverview on November 6th, 2010. The staff and residents were so friendly that we soon felt right at home. Bob had couple stays in health care when he broke his hip and had an open sore on his heel. the people in therapy were wonderful and I was able to live in our apartment and visit him several times a day without even going outside. When Bob died in January of 2016 I moved to a studio apartment where I am very comfortable. Riverview has so much to offer. We have free transportation for doctors and dentist appointments, Church, Walmart, a restaurant of the month, and various other places people request. We have entertainment 2 or 3 evenings a week and lots of activities during the day. Bingo is a big hit and we also have a Theater room for movies. Our dining room serves three meals a day. We have a hostess who seats us so we have a chance to meet everyone. There are 2 entrees for lunch and dinner and I can always find something that appeals to me. I have made close friends and we often play card in the evening. I am very comfortable here and proud to all this home.

My past experiences were very good when it came to Riverview. I had a cousin who resided here and loved it as well as a friend’s father. We visited them and were impressed with the facility, both the cleanliness and with the people here. So, when it came time for me to pick a place for my husband and I, we looked first to Riverview and found them ready and willing to help us through this difficult time. My husband resides in the Nursing Home area while I and a little companion of a 4 lb. Pomeranian, reside in the Assisted Living area. We have been here two plus years and still feel this is the best place for us. It is very easy for me to visit my husband and to take him Tuffy, our dog, which has become somewhat of a mascot here. The activities are numerous and are fitted to us. The food is very good and is served to us by courteous waiters on tables covered with cloths and matching napkins which makes the dining experience comparable to a dining restaurant. Visitors are welcome in the dining room for a small amount of money and we have taken advantage of that to have friends over for dinner.

I have been here 5 years! I have enjoyed the friendly community here at Riverview. They have a variety of activities and events that are daily. There are times that I am thankful for the available transportation that's provided. I would recommend that you come and take a tour and see our wonderful community!

My experience here at Riverview has exceeded my expectations! I have been most impressed with the staff here at Riverview. They are very responsive and prompt to answer questions or concerns that arise and always willing to lend a helping hand. I am very pleased with my decision to move to Riverview and I think it would be very hard to find another facility that can beat what they provide for their residence.

My mother has lived here for 3 years. She receives tremendous care. Her meals are delicious and well-balanced. The entire staff including maintenance, housekeeping, all the way to the executive director has a number 1 priority and that is the Seniors who live there. The facility is very clean and has a genuine Home-Like atmosphere. Mary and I have and will continue to recommend this facility to anyone who has a need for a Senior Living Facility.

Great Rehab center. My grandmother was here for a short stay after she fell. Top notch service that really made her feel at home. She was back home before she knew it and thriving better than has in years!

Come take a tour and see all that Riverview has to offer! It has several levels of care including skilled care, assisted living and independent living. Many activities and outings to enjoy! New friendships made with others living there that enjoy each others company. Management staff very accommodating and responsive. You can also bring your pet!

My mom is there recovering from a partial hip replacement, and she has several other medical issues, compounded by memory issues, and being a high fall risk. I'll be honest, it was a real adjustment moving from the hospital environment, to one that I have never experienced, so there were some bumps in the road - for the family to learn how to communicate best with the staff - and the staff to get to know us and my moms needs, but we are fortunate enough be able to be there often, and advocate for her. I have found the nursing and CNA staff to be compassionate, qualified, professionals overall. When I have felt that we had issues I didn't know how to resolve, the Administration was very willing to help us navigate the process and make any changes, or accommodations that they were able to. The Case Manager, the Physical Therapy staff, the nutritionists - seriously, everyone from the janitorial staff to the Administrator made me feel like my mother was safe, cared about, and physically rehabilitated to the best of her abilities. It absolutely helps the more the family can be involved to help their loved one get acclimated, and build the relationships with staff to help make the stay as productive and pleasant as possible under these circumstances. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in her care during her stay. You are just too many to name individually, but you know that I know who you are.
