My Mom spent 5 months in Heritage Woods, just moving out on Saturday. I would like to thank each and every person at The Woods. Staff is very loving and caring and they become like family to the residents. Sharon, you are an asset to the The Woods. You always took the time to answer each and every question my mother or I had. Thank you so much. Keri, RN, thank you for your patience so many times! Mom made some really good friends during her stay and none of them will be soon forgotten. Dont be surprised if you see me in there visiting some folks!! Again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart. ❣ ❤

Today I received the opportunity to make my first appearance to Heritage Woods in Dwight. When I walked in there was a lady sitting on the couch doing a word search I briefly talked to her and one thing that sticks out in my mind was when I said, I love your home and she replied with, Yeah, I like it to. That to me meant so much about the facility the fact that she knew and felt it as her home. I have been in many nursing homes throughout my life, but never have I seen a home more beautiful or welcoming then Heritage Woods. As soon as I stepped into the facility I was greeted instantly with a smile from an employee and it made me feel very comfortable. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the whole building and the aromas that reminded myself even of home. If ever one of my loved ones was placed into a facility this would be the facility Id want them in.

I have only worked for Heritage Woods of Dwight for just over 2 and a half months now and I absolutely LOVE IT THERE!! I drive an hour just to go to work because I really dont want to work any place else! The residents and all the staff are absolutely AMAZING!!

I have a wonderful family member that works there and has gotten me involved with the food boxes. My friend and I have tended them for the last 2 years. The residents have given me happiness planting flowers and eating their lunches. The staff and residents are sooo friendly and helpful. When my time comes,hopefully I can come there. Involving others, even children should be expanded! See you soon.

Heritage Woods of Dwight is the perfect place for my grandma. Brandy the administrator made the whole process so easy. The staff and residents are very friendly and inviting, they even had a welcome home sign for her when she moved in. Brandy did a great job making my whole family feel confident that this was the right decision for my grandmother and that she would be well taken care of. My grandma is enjoying all the activities, great food and new friends.

I've been interning here for about 4 months and it's the best job I've ever had. I haven't had a single problem with the staff/management and they're always quick to help anyone with anything they need. Nearly every day residents tell me how they love living here too! I'd love to work here forever if my internship wasn't temporary.

My mother has been at HW of Dwight for 1 year now. The staff is excellent. They have always gone out of their way to say HI and how are you today? The cleaning ladies come all the way from the end of the hall to the middle where mom is to say HI and tell me how nice my mother is. I was at a staff meeting today, and was encouraged to write a review and my thoughts and opinions about heritage woods of Dwight.I will explain a little about myself and experience at the woods. I have been there for about 4 years full time. I started my first year as a dietary aide, and knew from my experience as an aide I wanted to become a CNA and help others. I went to school to get my license and accepted a full time position on 2nd shift... Recently a couple months ago I was put on 1st shift full time also.I can not explain much about other departments because I like to be focused and passionate about my own department, and excel in that, BUT I can tell you that the CNAs are wonderful. The CNAs and nursing staff in any facility are so important. The CNAs go above and beyond for our residents. We make sure they are happy, their needs are met, and we even do extra. I have seen the CNAs including myself play board games with the residents, paint their nails, dance with them, make them laugh... We make the residents feel at home and at ease.Some residents find it difficult to adjust to changes like this, but wouldn't most? Every single resident who has came into this facility I have seen smile. I have been through it all... The residents hard times, and their best. What makes us wonderful is that we are always their, we always help. I spend most of my time at the woods, and it's more than a job to me. Speaking for myself and the CNAs it's more than that to us.

Our experience with Heritage Woods with our Mom for the past 3 years has been wonderful. They are so friendly, helpful and patient with her and us. We can't say enough good about it. Help is great and Mom always raves about the food. They do a great job with her meds too. She is very happy and so are we!

It is a wonderful facility that helped my friend feel the best that she had felt in a couple of years. Great people that worked with her, and even though she was a picky eater, she loved the good.

Recently moved our Mum into Heritage Woods. She's doing fabulous. She likes being around all the potential friends that she could make. She doesn't need any help with that, Ruby Kasson is a very likable woman and will not have any problems in that area. She had a mini stroke about 3 months ago, effecting her left side, arm, leg and foot. She is working really hard to get from a wheelchair and upgrade to her walker. Her apartment is very nice and we have had not one complaint about where she's decided to stay. Welcome Ruby as your friend when you get a chance to meet her.
