This was my grandma's home for a few years before she passed away. From the activities she participated in to socializing over meals with her new friends she loved it. As a family we loved that she was in a caring and vibrant community. The nursing staff that looked after her were always on top of any medical issue that came up and communicated with us regularly. I miss seeing her walk through the halls with her walker stopping to talk to staff and other residents. Overall a great place.

My husband and I attended the "Love is in the air" candle light dinner on February 10, 2023. The menu was amazing!! The 1st course which was the savory & sweet Bruschetta was the best bruschetta I've ever tasted! This appetizer will be a staple at all my parties! The tomato bisque soup was outstanding as well as the Romantic red salad. The main entrée of braised short ribs and mashed potatoes was the highlight of the dinner! The short ribs melted in your mouth along with the gravy that enveloped the whipped mashed potatoes. This spectacular meal ended with a trio of chocolate covered strawberries and coffee. Our compliments to the chef and staff of The Fountains in Crystal Lake. Also, id like to give a special shout out to Will as he was very instrumental in making this event a success.

My mom has been living at The Fountains for 2 1/2 years. She receives excellent care there! The nursing staff is so patient and are really good at keeping contact with the family, addressing concerns and assisting the family with their care. The dining room has an excellent choice of healthy options and some delicious desserts! There are many fun activities for the residents to take part in. The entire staff at The Fountains is helpful and are always greeting you with a smile and "how can I help you?"

I was privileged to have been employed by the Fountains in the Marketing department. I absolutely loved working there as it was extremely easy to service not only the residents but the families as well. I can’t speak highly enough about the nursing staff, the caregivers, activities, maintenance and last but not least the food was and is above average!! The residents were well cared for and actually loved the family atmosphere. We truly were a family and if I didn’t have to leave due to medical reasons I would probably still be there!!! I highly recommend the Fountains for your loved one!

I recently visited The Fountains for my mother and it was such a beautiful facility. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They answered all the questions I had. The surrounding areas outside and inside are so beautiful and cheerful. It is obvious how much they care about the well being of their residents. A lot of the residents know the staff by first name and they greet each other like they are old friends. I even saw some stop to say hello and check in with how they were doing. I would highly recommend the Fountains to anyone looking for somewhere to put their loved ones who need the extra care or just a space where they need the safety and piece of mind.

Just wanted it known that even though I wasnt able to have my sister move in at The Fountains, the Director of Admissions took the time to give me some guidance and was sooo helpful in finding the perfect fit for my sister elsewhere. Our family has been using The Fountains since 2009 when my in-laws moved in. In 2012, we moved my father into Assisted Living. My father recently passed away at the age of 88. My in- laws passed away in 2016 and 2018 at the age of 100 each. People make a facility. 99% of the staff was fully vested in our parents care right down to the wonderful employees who did the laundry. While it would be great if the rooms were handicap accessible and things were more updated, it is the staff that makes a facility such as this. Over the years, so many wonderful relationships were formed and I always felt if there was a problem, we were encouraged and welcomed to collaborate on a solution that was beneficial for our parents. No one plans for this phase of your life. Neither of our parents planned on ever needing assisted living or memory care. But, it happens. We toured other facilities before deciding on The Fountains and we do not regret those decisions. Everyones experience will be different because expectations are different. Our expectations were met and exceeded during our time. We are grateful.

At 93 years old, my mom was not safe to live alone in her home anymore. We chose to move her to the Fountains of Crystal Lake where she lived for over 3 years. As a nurse myself, I worked in several long term care facilities and I would highly recommend the Fountains of Crystal Lake. The environment is cheery, clean and I never noticed any odors. The entire staff was very friendly, caring and attentive to moms needs. I loved that every resident was given a medical alert pendant to call for help whenever they needed it. Several activities were available daily both on and off campus. The meals were served restaurant style with choice of entree and the food was very good. With the threat of Covid-19 the staff were heroes. They stayed. They stayed to do their jobs and they did their best to keep the residents safe from the virus.

This is a beautiful and well kept place. The staff is wonderful. Excellent customer satisfaction. Would recommend this place highly even in this pandemic. The food was great. I feel so fortunate to have a beautiful retirement community so close to where I live. The Fountains offers a full range of high quality services no matter what a loved ones needs might be. In my opinion, though, the highest recommendation is the longevity of the Fountains staff, many of whom have served at The Fountains for years. This is so unusual in this industry.

My mother has been a resident in the Assisted Living program for more than a year. We have been very pleased with all aspects of her experience. Her apartment is clean, light, and spacious, which allowed us to bring furniture and other items to make it like home. The care is excellent, from the aides, nurses, housekeeping, dining room, front desk, and activity leaders. The director, Amy, and her leadership team know their residents and care about them as individuals. Activities are creative and inclusive. The Fountains of Crystal Lake is a great choice for our family.

My mom has resided at the Fountains for eight years now. We looked at every retirement community in multiple counties and are very pleased to have landed at The Fountains. I remember telling people, it appears as if my 86 year old mom is truly younger upon moving there. She is now 94 and The Fountains have cared for her with love and kindness every step of the way. The staff, along with her day-to-day care associates, are all top-notch. They are professional, compassionate and attentive. The senior management team excels and I extremely appreciative to them. We would love to give a few kudos to The Fountains of Crystal Lake, IL. During the pandemic, it has been a scary and uncertain time, The Fountains have gone above and beyond. The dining room staff have done a great job of meeting our needs and communicating with one another. I needed extra straws and asked Deb for them. She was off the next day and passed on the message to Al and the next morning they brought them up to us first thing! Great team work! They have also brought us extra ice cream as well as wine and crackers to our room for happy hour. They surprised us with plants to cheer us up. Believe it or not, we had sprouts in a few days! Jeff, our awesome maintenance man, has fixed numerous issues for us with no questions asked. For safety reasons, we could no longer do our own laundry and The Fountains took over this responsibility for us. They did a superb job. They even folded the laundry up to my standards! Finally, the front desk is very caring and checks in on us every day. Even though we have been cooped up for months, they have tried to make it as pleasant as possible. We are so very grateful for The Fountains!

I didnt eat there, although I was invited to. The aroma coming from the lunch area was delicious. Several of the residents spoke to me and were very inviting and friendly. They literally have a catalog of activities. Similar to a course catalog. You are allowed to decorate your room and the area outside your room anyway you choose. Our guide, Claudia, was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Im looking forward to my move and starting a new phase in my life.

Hey the Fountains are a wonderful place. Dad and I visit regularly to take part in the various activities. There is wonderful food, presentations, music, and comradely. I even spoke with Martha just before this years Christmas holiday while riding on the bus there with Rusty our driver. We all saw it, the gathering of Police, Fire, and Emergency response officials at the fountains entrance. Sources reported that the Space X rocket crash landed due to a programming glitch known as the Santa App. And there for all the residents to see was what is being billed as Rics Golden Yolk extractor. They say its a way to get into the oval shield of a shell without breaking it apart. This way the chick inside who is said to be Melodious could have the shield produce a pleasant tune for the community.

In his role he has a lot to balance: state and federal regulations, the needs of the patients, family concerns, his staff, and corporate Paramount. Things happen, and in our experience, Paul was able to make it work in the best interests of our mother.Cost: The monthly costs at Paramount are typical for similar facilities in Delaware—some are a little more, some a little less. My dad required a nursing home – skilled nursing – kind of as described above, except patients there are in constant line-of-sight supervision by a nurse, not a health aide. They also need more supervision at night, and other labor intensive care short of a hospital. Skilled nursing costs approximately twice as much as the Paramount memory care unit.Depending on the nature of the decline, skilled nursing might become a requirement. In our case, Paul kept us informed so there would be no surprises, and he did everything possible with the outside care agencies consistent with his obligation to comply with the regulations. Again—he made it work.In sum, based on our experience, my family highly and strongly recommends Paramount.
