My love one has been at Victory Centre of Roseland a few years. It has gotten better I can say. When I have some slight problems i do get a call back or handled over the phone. I can’t do anything about the food for my love one but drop off what they like. Nobody really likes the food in these places unless it’s in the deep suburbs. I want to mention my love one name because they do speak well on some of the staff but I just feel that because my issues are with the nursing department they may treat them unfairly. My only complaint(s) is the Nurses are rude. They never answered the phone and when they do they act like you are bothering them. They are there for the residents. Vanessa and that new nurse she wears glasses need some more training. My love tells me when they go to their office it’s always an issue. Vanessa is not a person I would want representing my healthcare office.i have spoken to a few residents who linger in the hall. They also have things to say about the building. My love one says she is Always on the phone walking around giving meds. That new nurse never has an answer for nothing. I guess the building was desperate need for staff. Now there is a nurse name mimi. I spoke with her today. She is very nice. She is able to answer questions about my love one.Mimi has been there since my love one has been there. She likes Mimi a lot. Those other 2 I would expect better because they are in a black facility and with their people but they are horrible. They need a White Manager over them too get them in order. The sad part is I have visited that office in the back and they are rude in person. Vanessa was sure on her phone with an earpiece like have respect get off the phone. You talking too me and whoever in your ear can hear our conversation as well. So imagine if she passing meds and talking to the residents about their business. The person on the phone can hear. That should be a violation or something. Where is the person who oversees the building? She needs too pay a visit to that wellness room. They need to separate those 2 nurses. They not good together. They look like they just feed off each other whether it’s right or wrong.

My mother had a stroke.. She couldn't be at home alone. So I decided to put her in the Victory Centre. The staff was very nice and very friendly. It was so clean and my mother felt comfortable. I made her room look like the room that they show you when you do the tour. She loves the food and the staff especially the admission director.. They call if they you for whatever... I wouldn't change anything about the VICTORY CENTRE OF ROSELAND!!!! Thank you for taking care of My Mother ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

This place has truly helped my great aunt make a smooth transition into supportive living. The communication from staff has been great from the receptionist, to the director, the lifestyle specialist, and even the maintenance staff. The staff has been quick and efficient. I am grateful for the help they give and my great aunt is enjoying the food and happy hour activities!

If 1st impressions begins the narrative, This Centre has lived up to its name. Victory is the best way to describe my experience walking through the door meeting the staff. After a long and exhausting search for the best place for my Dad. That felt more like an up hill battle. My Family & I feel Victorious after finding and settling my Dad at Victory Centre of Roseland. The Staff is Phenomenal! What more can i say other than, Thank You Most High GOD for guiding and leading my Family to this Wonderful Facility for my DAD

The staff at Victory Centre of Roseland is top notch. They have been extremely professional and friendly in their interaction with my cousin (a new resident) and me (her representative payee). They went through a mountain of paperwork in a way that made it painless. They were thorough with their medical workup. My cousin appreciated having her medicine delivered shortly after she arrived in her room. Speaking of her room, there was a sign on the door welcoming her to her new home, followed by a basket of essential items on the microwave, a fruit basket on the counter, welcome card signed by staff, and a refrigerator stocked with a fruit tray, water, pop, and individually packed meals. Those are the reasons I gave 5 stars.

The one thing that bothers me is communication. The receptionist doesnt have all the answers. Im hoping they see this because due to Covid 19 we cant visit our relatives. 2 at a time with masks talking through a window. Why is it only 2 people and why do they need to be over 18. My sister has a lot of family and they want to see her.
