Our mother spent several years here, starting in independent living and then in the memory care unit. Smith Village is wonderful, great staff led by excellent executive director. Very good food. When she died, staff came to her wake. Also treated my mom's cat quite well.

My 89 year old dad was here in rehab after breaking his hip. This is the greatest place ever. They get a 10++++. Clean, good food, pleasant people, activities for residents, and friendly environments. From the time you arrive, the reception Dorothy Frasor is always pleasant. The CNAs Andrea Smith and Janzell Smith went well beyond the call of duty. They were professional, friendly, compassionate, helped my dad with everything. and most importantly------made him feel special! Thank you sooooooooooo much Andrea and Janzell.

As a concerned relative of residents in your area, I am not happy to see all the used face masks that are discarded around your facility and the neighboring front yards. Please have your maintenance people police the area & ask visitors, residents, & employees to discard them properly. Thank you

This is the best senior living facility I have ever been to. I have personally worked in skilled nursing facilities for the past 20 years of my life. I have been in over 15+ nursing homes. I have yet to see an employee being disrespectful or rude. The staff at Smith Village take the best care of my grandma and are always so respectful and helpful. Thank you for taking such great care of her!

The speech given by those in charge for seniors ingo. Was good info. We were offered a tour. Beautiful apts. Too much walking Not all in good health. Box lunches due to covid. It's a buy in senior community Cang afford it. Staff pleasant n cordial.

My mom was at Smith Village for over 4 years. I cannot say enough about the love, attention, caring and going above and beyond from their team. This home is not an option if your loved one has Alzheimer's disease. My father stayed here for several months and unfortunately it became evident Smith Village was grossly inadequate to care for him as his Alzheimer's disease advanced. On more than one occasion the Smith Village staff were overwhelmed with the responsibility of caring for him and tragically their solution was to send him to the nearest hospital emergency room - not for medical reasons, but for behavioral reasons that were common among Alzheimer's patients. What made things worse for our family was they did this during COVID-19 which limited our ability to support him and was terribly disruptive to his life - which is the last thing you want to do to an Alzheimer's patient. Once we moved him out of Smith Village to a new/different facility that was properly trained and knowledgable on how to care for Alzheimer's patients his behavior, health, happiness and overall state of mind improved dramatically which has led me to write this review. I would have given one star if not for the fact Smith Village can be adequate for the elderly that are autonomous and self-reliant.

Residents are great. Management kitchen staff is not great. Building is always clean and grounds are kept well. To the owner the problem is marti. Yall have the same menu eating the same thing. I agree her numbers are in. Your company does not keep house keeper or cooks there. Its never filled and its way to pricey to live there. You promote people with no experience.

My mother lived here for 2 years in Assisted Living and she absolutely loved it. She regretted not moving in earlier so she could enjoy more years here. Later, when she had a stroke, they took such good care of her in Skilled Nursing. The rehab process here is amazing, also thanks to the people that make up the rehab team. The best thing about Smith Village are the people that work here. They are very, very caring, compassionate and very knowledgeable in the work they do. My family also liked the fact that the facility is very clean and extremely well maintained. There are always updates and freshen-ups going on here. If you are contemplating care for your parent, you owe it to yourself to check the place out and even arrange for a short stay to see if your loved one would like it here. I guarantee that you will be at ease knowing they are in the care of Smith.
