I gave it one star, but the way I fell right now it should get zero stars. When I first looked at the place I was told that the apartments had individual climate control. In fact I still have the pamphlet that says that. But that is not true. The building controls whether the heat or the air conditioning is on. Right now the heat is on, so I can only make it warmer in my apartment. I have now way to make it cooler. Currently I have yhe heat off and all of the windows open. But I cannot get it cooler than 80 degrees. And I am just too hot. I have to close the windows at night because of the street, train, and plane noise. So at night it is usual 83 degrees. So I am not sleeping. I tried a fan but found it too noisy. They will not turn the air conditioning on until June 1st. I had the same problem in the fall when my apartment was 63 degrees at night. When they finally turned the heat on it broke. So we were without heat for a couple of weeks. And for the almost one year that I have been here, half of the time one elevator has been broken. And each time a elevator broke it took weeks to fix because "they Said" of the paperwork. I am no the top floor so both the heat and the elevator are a big deal to me. I do like the activities, and the staff is friendly even though They can't fix my problems. In fact someone was going to talk to me this afternoon about the heat in my apartment. But they never showed up. I wish I could move. But I have limited eye sight. So packing and moving would be hard since I don't drive. So don't believe that "individual climate control apartments" lie.

I've lived at Autumn Green for nine years and it has always been a good place to live. The current Executive Director has brought new life, new programs, and many other things that make this community a community. The staff is attentive, courteous and kind. If special attention is needed, Ms. Mitchell is hands on. To the staff at Autumn Green, thank you so much! Love the staff my mom has been there going on 2 years and she loves it !! The other tenants arr great, the services are amazing! My mom sold her house and moved there and we were concerned because we didnt want to have to find someplace else after such a big move and thank the lord everything that that Sales Markerter Afia said was the TRUTH!! My mom is sooo happy and every time I visit my mom its like the very first time i stepped my foot in that building, ALWAYS WELCOMING!

I had the wonderful opportunity to tour this facility with Ms. Afia Watts. Such a beautiful environment and everyone from the front desk to maintenence were friendly. Ms Watts was very detailed in our tour, explaining pricing along with all the amenities they offer. I think my aunt will be very happy here!

Recently visited the community for their Family Dinner Night and were greeted by their friendly concierge who directed us to the dining room. We later met with the Executive Director and staff, who were also very friendly and attentive and made us feel welcomed. Had a tour of the community, which is beautiful, and met a few residents who were very proud of their home and let us know! Definitely would recommend for anyone who is looking for a place for their loved ones. Community has great amenities, programs, outings, and events!
