A good friend of ours recently moved into Eden Vista Senior living in Barrington, Illinois. We have visited him several times and have been thoroughly impressed with the staff and service. Rachel Lott is the activity director and is a real pleasure to deal with. She treats the residents like family and adds a wonderful human touch to everything she does. A real pro. I have toured several facilities. Eden is a great facility. Staff is very welcoming and attentive to the residents. We toured with Mary who was extremely knowledgeable and helped us navigate appropriate placement for our family memenr. Mary was very helpful whenever we had questions, she was available. We will keep Eden Vista as part of our plans for future placement.

I wanted to share my experience working with the team at Eden Vista in Barrington to secure a great place to live for my 94 year old uncle. Mary Ireland was my first contact and the reason we chose this environment for my uncle. Through Mary's eyes we were able to see the warmth, caring and compassion for all residents by her and the whole team of support staff. Every person we have met has been terrific and cared for our uncle as their own. We are grateful for Cheryl, Crystal, the activity director and assistants, nutrition staff, housekeeper and nurses and assistants. Thank you all for helping Lloyd transition to such a lovely home where dignity and respect are valued. Mary, thanks again for your assistance in every aspect of helping to get Lloyd settled in such a short time. He looks forward to your walks and conversations!

As my 95-year-old mother-in-law's dementia continued to get worse and I required surgery, I had to find some place for her to be while I recuperated. I worked with Mary Ireland at Eden Vista, Barrington and she bent over backwards to make it simple for us, and comfortable for my mother-in-law to settle in. While we intended to use them for respite care only, she loved it so much, she didn't want to come home. It's a beautiful place, she's in a great room, has already made friends and enjoys the events and food. Mary took a lot of stress and concern off our shoulders by regularly checking in with us on her welfare. I cannot thank Mary enough for all her efforts, and bottom line, she is now very happy in her new home. I recommend this place for your loved ones.

My family and I are so happy we found this facility for my elderly father. He’s doing great there and loves all the camaraderie with the other residence. Everyone from Mary, Rizzy, the medical Director to Chad the executive chef. Nothing but great experience would highly recommend this facility to anybody looking for some elder care.

My company painted their entire second floor and the staff were very accommodating. They not only made sure to give us the room to work but also the ability to work around the residents. They are exceptionally talented and very professional. Would recommend this place to anyone who is interested in putting their loved ones in good hands.

Chapters Living of Barrington and Calli were a huge help with my mom and her transition to assisted living. My mom fell, a few months ago and was in rehab for several weeks and was not able to go back to her independent senior apartment. I looked at many facilities in the area and Chapters was very accommodating to her needs. They had therapy on site for her to continue to get stronger and improve her mobility. She is on a gluten free diet and the chefs are able to accommodate her needs. Mom was very nervous about moving from skilled care- rehab to assisted living. She was concerned about getting help to the bathroom, getting to meals, getting dressed and personal care. The staff was very friendly and helpful, once mom learned the pull cords and call button she was able to get the help she needed. Mom has transitioned to her new situation is getting stronger and is able to do more on her own. She is enjoying the activities and daily group exercises with the other residents. Thank you to all at Chapters for making her transition a success.

We are so happy to have found Chapters for my 96 yr. old mother-in-law. The atmosphere is very homey, and I can't say enough about the awesome staff. Everyone is so caring, so friendly and care so much for and about the residents. There aren't enough accolades for the aides, the nurses, the kitchen and dining staff, the administration...even down to the maintenance. Shout out to Maddie at the front desk and Calli, who is the "woman in charge". They are all awesome, and I highly recommend Chapters if you are looking for a place for yourself or someone in your family. If I were younger, I would want to work here!!

I cannot say enough good, about the experience we had with the people at Sunrise of Barrington! We had to move mom from a semi-independant living facility to one which offered her the assistance she now required. This sounds good in theory but mom tended to resist change of that nature. We were concerned with the move, mostly for those reasons. The day of the move came. We (my brother and I) held our breathe. Would mom be OK with it or ? From the moment we entered the grounds and building, mom was enamored. She commented on how beautiful it was! We had a feeling of instant "Home" when there! This was just the beginning. Once we got to know and interact with "Team Sunrise of Barrington " we knew we'd made an excellent choice! What a relief ! From the administrators to the care givers, to all ....That team embraced her and her needs from the word "Go"! Their demeanor and actions were that of professionalism and compassion. They all bonded with mom, my brother and I, immediately. When we interacted with them, I felt like we'd known them for years ! Like I said... It felt like "Home" immediately! I can not express how wonderful the Sunrise experience has been for our family. We are on our second journey through memory loss of a family member and there is no facility/staff that we would rather be partners with. The facility is lovely and promotes a feeling of having personal space within a "home" environment. The staff is exceptional. They are truly special people who with a smile are willing to help you on a day to day basis navigate the reality of having a loved one with memory loss. The respect and care shown for everyone is felt the minute you walk in the door.

Our experience with Sunrise has exceeded my expectations. My mom moved there in February after a serious fall and a month of rehab. Everyone made the transition seamless, in particular Ben and Lynette. When I arrived she was already seated in the dining room making friends. She just celebrated her 100th birthday and the party we had was just lovely. Monique made sure the event was a true celebration. All of the staff and nurses are caring and respectful. I cannot say enough great things about the facility and staff at Sunrise. When my mom started her hospice journey this past spring, I soon realized she would need more care and assistance than I could give her. The staff at Sunrise did not let me down. They are very compassionate and professional and they always made my entire family feel welcome. It was such a blessing and comfort to know my mom received such outstanding care from a staff that went above and beyond to make her hospice journey a peaceful one. I’m truly grateful for all their care and support.

My mom lived at this facility for 5 years. The care is outstanding. She received exceptional nursing care and memory care. The workers are kind and considerate. The programs are tailored to your families needs. The food and sanitation is top shelf. I live in Ohio and didn't worry about mom. This is a community I want to live at when I am ready to retire.

We were worried when we moved my mother-in-law here from Florida a few years ago since she had lived on her own for so many years. The staff at Sunrise of Barrington couldn't have made her more welcome or taken better care of her. She began participating in activities and engaging with other residents. I can't thank those at Sunrise of Barrington enough for the care, love and attention they gave to Helen.
