My Mother-in-law is now living there. What a joke for administration. I went to go see my mother in law. I got yelled at like a kid. They claimed they called me and her daughter that she is in lock down for an illness. They never did. If they did we would have not come by. I respect guidelines. An administrative women yelled at me and my wife walking down the hallway. I just retired as a high school teacher of 36 years. I never had a student ever treat me with such disrespect. I was embarrassed in front of my wife. They also have had my wife who is handicapped in tears after balling her out in the past. If I had power of attorney, my mother in law would be sent to a new facility.

As a professional Senior Care Advisor we work with families looking for care for their loved ones on a daily basis. Park Place in Nampa is one of our favorite facilities in the area to place seniors in need of assisted living or memory care. The staff here is top notch, the facility is clean, and from what I hear the food is pretty darn good. We feel very confident in the care provided.

This place is the perfect facility for my sister with mild cognitive impairment. She can pretty much care for self, just needs reminders. And any issues are immediately taken care of as the RN is on top of things.while employee turnover seems to be an issue the staff has always been kind and observed to be kind to other residents. The eve shift med aide Christine is awsome. My parents are in another newer place in S Nampa with poor oversight by the front office and nurse office. We like Park Place.

Very clean. All of the staff members I have observed were caring and kind. It's the only nursing home I have seen in 35 years that offers a menu and allows residents to chose their meals. Absence of nursing home odor is a testament to the high quality of care given by staff.

When mom was no longer able to live by herself, my husband and I brought her to live with us. It worked for a few months but then Mom needed more care. Mom's doctor told me that even though I was taking very good care of her, he said that she needed more care then I was able to give her. He said that she needed to be somewhere that was able to give that to her. She did not need nursing home care but assisted living care. We looked at many places. They were all very nice, but they seemed very cold and sterile to me. I knew that my mom would not be happy there. We looked at Park Place assisted living. I knew the minute that I walked in the door that this was the place for my mom. It felt cozy, comfortable, and a happy, loving place. I talked to the administrator and told her all about my mom and what kind of care she needed and what she liked and did not like. We had a tour and it was just what I thought it would be. The day we moved Mom in, was a very emotional for me and my mom. I was afraid that she would not even try to adjust. But to my surprise, she adjusted very fast. Probably faster than I did. All of the administration and all of the staff, have treated my mom and all of the residents with love and care that they so deserve. The residents are delightful. They are very protective of each other, and seem very happy and they give the best hugs. My husband and I feel very comfortable leaving for a few days, knowing that Mom will be taken very good care of. That has helped to be able to take a break and see our kids and grandkids, and just get away. Even though it was hard decision to make, I am so happy that I did. Park Place is my mom's new home at this time in her life and she is happy.

My mother is at Park Place now, Jan 2016 and has been since April 2015. We are very pleased. People are friendly, I have never seen mold, or anything to indicate it is less than clean. My mother left food unwrapped in her little refrigerator and ants came in. They simply called the exterminator and the problem was solved. We just make sure everything is in airtight containers which IS the written rule there. My mother is very difficult to get along with at times, (dementia) but the attendants are unfailingly patient. My brother researched the entire Boise area (for 6 weeks) and this is the best facility he found. In the others she would have had to have a room mate - global disaster, she could not deal with someone in her space and with the dementia the other person's belongings would all be my mom's, she can't discern ownership any longer - and some of them the rooms were so small and the beds so close the residents could touch each other if they reached out their arms (yes, he and his wife tried it, not guessing here). At Park Place she has a nice room, plenty of space, her own bath room, a window looking on a courtyard, books to read and regular outings. I tease her that I have my eye on the room next to hers. No place is perfect but I have always found someone to discuss issues with, and if the staff is unhappy, they hide it well.

My Father-in-Law is a resident at Park Place (since late February, 2014). We looked at several locations, and he chose Park Place. The staff and management are very friendly, helpful, and overall really nice people. They go the extra-mile to make residents comfortable, and provide the best quality of life possible.
