Maplewood assisted living cares for the elderly with respect. The caregivers work hard with there residents and they showed love towards my mom . Which was very special to me and my mom. Thanks Paula and Joanne for running Maplewood assisted living with care and handwork. It shows how much they care for the elderly..most importantly I can't express how they took care of my mom with kindness

I worked here for short time and this was more than a job. This is a family that puts every ounce of themselves into the care given and received here. Jake and Joann are absolutely amazing and their love for this company trickles down into the employees and residents. Filling hearts and minds with reassurance and comfort. I am so glad to have been a part of this amazing team.

Growing up alongside an assisted living while my parents ran it was actually a pretty awesome experience -we treated them all like family. We played, sang and ate with them. That's hard to find. Until I ran into Jake and Joann at Maple Wood. This home has a very similar family feel. They love every person like they are family. They have the biggest hearts. Thank you for the love and service you provide for our loved ones!

I have stopped into this facility a number of times to visit a family friend. I have been very impressed with the patience and kindness the staff shows for the residence. I enjoy watching the residents interact with one another, play games, share stories, enjoy the outdoors and a number of other interactive activities. This assisted living facilities has a Welcome Home feeling. Thank you for your kindness, love and patience with our loved ones.

I have been at this assisted living several times. It is clean well organized the residents appear to be satisfied with thier living conditions. If there is a need for me to place my mother in any assisted living. This would be at the top of my consideration.

The owners, Jake and Jo Ann, are some of the best people. They truly love and care for their residents. They treat them like family and give their all in caring for everyone here. It feels like home here at Maple Wood and I love that!

Thank you for providing a safe and loving environment for my mom! I love that she has freedoms inside of a secured environment and is able to build relationships with staff and other residents. I appreciate the open door policy and communication with the owners. My concerns are always addressed in a timely manner. I highly recommend Maplewood for any long term care for yourself or family members. It is a relief to know my mom is loved and taken care of

The staff at Maplewood are awesome! They actually get to know the residents and often go above and beyond so the residents know they are cared about. It can be as simple as knowing which is their favorite blanket to knowing the Dementia residents history to help them through difficult situations. They have helped our family during this difficult year to help my father have a dignified end.

Our Dad's dementia journey has reached a point where it became clear he could no longer live at home. We began our with recommendations from friends and family who had experience in placing loved ones. The facility we chose was no longer feasible once he had been formally accessed. The Nurse at that facility understood our disappointment and also understood Dad's needs, probably better than we did. She recommended we contact Maplewood; in fact she made the first contact for us before we had time to act. She gave us the contact info as well as told us they had availability. My brother and his wife made the first contact with Joann and Jake, they came away impressed, sent us the pictures they took. My son, who has experience in senior care facilities, went out and met with Jake, had a tour and they talked at great length about many things related to the care his Grandpa would need. Jeremy shares the same 'care philosophy' that Jake does. My husband and I visited shortly their after. We were impressed with the passion Joann and Jake demonstrated for their work; they were friendly, willing to answer our many questions and took great pride in showing us around the house. It was inviting, beginning with the 'library', the openness of the dining/kitchen/living room made sense as residents could watch food being prepared, look out at the large yard with views of the mountains and airplanes, watch tv or be entertained by visitors. The only downside,, the room that was available was small, however, it had a great view! We have not fully committed to moving Dad out of his home; the fear of Covid shut down still looms in our area and we really want him to end his days in his own bed. Maplewood would be a great choice for anyone wanting a smaller homelike, friendly and caring place for their loved one.
