My grandmother is a resident of this facility. I was shocked to see her wheeling herself from the dining room to her room as she is 95 years old and weighs 79 lbs. My grandfather would always assist in pushing her chair for her, but unfortunately he passed away shortly after they moved in. My grandma depended on him for almost everything and I don't feel this facility is helping her the way she needs. The towel in her bathroom seemed to have been used for over a week without being washed, and she complained that the assistants won't grab her clothing that fits and are always putting her in clothes that are far too big. She also mentioned that if she needs anything "extra" like having new socks unpackaged and placed in her drawer, no one will do it for her. This woman is so weak and frail; she paid a pretty penny to reside here & I feel sad leaving her there as I live out of state. Being employed at an assisted living facility should mean that you go above and beyond for these poor individuals who are there because they can't do the simplest tasks alone. Please do better so their families don't have to worry about their well-being, or why they spent so much money to not be fully taken care of.
