While I am happy to provide a positive review for Holland Farms from a personal point of view, I think it is even more important to share that in my interactions with other health care providers, I have heard nothing but praise for the Holland Farms staff and it's administration. Depending on your insurance and ability to pay, there are a wide variety of outside caregivers that provide services to Holland Farms residents: hospice, in-home medical care, 24/7 on call, massage, a podiatrist, vaccination clinic and more. These are individuals who travel to local assisted living/memory care facilities and are familiar with the wide range in quality, cleanliness, and staffing. Many of the outside providers I have spoken to have said some variation of "this is one of the good places" or "I like to come to this facility" or "the staff is really responsive here". As this is one of the few assisted living/memory care facilities I am familiar with, my experience is limited. I really appreciate that the people who regularly make the rounds of these types of facilities rate Holland Farms as one of the best.

Beautiful facility. Caring and very skilled staff. The residents are thriving with activities and fun things to do. Go check the pictures on their facebook page and you will seem some awesome things happening. Fun visitors, great outings for the residents and a lovely place to live.

The staff is wonderful. They accommodate every resident and their/ family needs. It is home-like feeling as soon as you walk in you are welcomed. The rooms and views are beautiful. There is also so much offered. Such as restaurant style dining, outings, activities and so much more.

Absolutely beautiful building, caring staff and a family like atmosphere. The activity program is second to none! Best senior living community in Norwalk. This is the best choice I have made and I would encourage anyone considering a senior residence to put Holland Farms on the top of their list!

This is an amazing community full of people who truly care. For the employees here it's not just a job, it's a passion. They have a one of a kind activities director. She is so original, you will not find better activities in any other senior community guaranteed. Another stand out is the wonderful and knowledgeable front desk. The dedication and warmness I've witnessed is just fantastic. As a Norwalk resident I am proud to have this senior community as part of our town. It's a shining star. Thank you Holland Farms!

Been with this company well over a year now. I know, watching some of my own family battling dementia, I wished so much I could move them to Holland Farms. The memory care is top notch. Amazing memory care manager, RN staff, and caregivers that KNOW the specific needs of dementia residents. Activities are catered to residents specially and coordinated with physical, occupational, and speech therapies. I have personally seen family concerns get addressed immediately with great care. I can testify when your loved one moves into Holland Farms, they are our family and we love them like they are our own. I absolutely love working here.

We moved our loved one to this facility after being in the same house for over 50 years. It was a tough transition that was needed for their safety as living at home was no longer an option. The management and staff are amazing!! They care and love the residents like they were their own. BEST decision we could have EVER made for our loved one. And the Activities Director is top notch. So many fun and engaging activities for everyone. Our loved one now visits their old house to make sure all is ok, but asks if they can go "home" to Holland Farms.

I do not review often, but am posting this review to as many places as possible to give recognition where it is due. My grandma spent the last two years of her life in Holland Farms memory care. I could not recommend them highly enough. They meet each resident where they are at and acknowledge memory loss for everyone is different. There was constant activities: field trips to animal shelters and schools, visits to museums, meals out, bus and train rides, baking cookies, art projects, theme parties, and more. If it is more of a down day, the staff quickly pulls out coloring or trivia or will turn on a movie with popcorn. They frequently bring in people for religious services, music time, or story time. The facility was always clean and looks more like a hotel than a nursing home. Physical therapy is on site, and when Grandma reached the end, Holland Farms worked with their hospice partner to keep her there and provide the best end of life care possible. My family and I were always welcomed for visits at anytime and was treated with respect by the staff. The staff would work with my grandma's challenging memory loss behavior and reassure us with our concerns. Meals and meds were always given on schedule. Even when Grandma would fight staff with meals and basic hygiene, the staff navigated the challenges successfully. I will miss seeing how well the staff loved on my grandma, but am grateful for the great care she received!

I order a whole bunch of dahlias from them before reading the reviews, which I thought was a big mistake after reading the reviews, but I decided to give them a chance. My dahlias showed up on time and they were beautiful tubers. One tuber had over 8 sprout on it. I'm was so impressed and glad I gave them a chance.

Never met any one from there personally, but thought I was cool that residents from the facility were in the bus during the Fourth of July parade in Norwalk!!!

Beautiful building with so much to do. The staff at Holland Farms we so welcoming and kind to us while we looking for options for my grandma! Caregivers looked happy and were spending time with the residents doing puzzles. They helped get us the information we needed for the best care for grandma!

This is an amazing place that has changed my family's life. My mother was put there recently for dementia and they are so caring.and loving. There are so many activities. My mom is doing so well we are so pleased with the staff there. What a wonderful place to know that your parent is being taken care of.

Visited with a friend. New facility with lots of amenities-exercise room, activities, bistro, etc. Don't like entrance to facility when driving south and no indoor parking.
