What an amazing team at Windsor Manor. We moved our mom in on Wednesday this week!!! Mari, Cynthia, Chad, Elizabeth, Hanna, Lisa and everyone else ( there were so many I can’t recall all of your names!) on the team that came to welcome my mom, this made her move much more pleasant! I really appreciate the number of times per day they check in on her!!!

I can’t say enough good things about the people of Windsor Manor in Nevada Iowa My sister’s final journey of life started there after she sustained an injury and had to move to be near family. Her physical and medication needs were handled compassionately and professionally by Larkin and staff. While there she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Lesley and her staff ( office, kitchen and aides) walked with her on that journey showing her love and understanding. Unfortunately her mental and physical decline was faster than anyone anticipated. Again Lesley and her staff were there for her and also our family. They were there to answer questions and try different ways of helping my sister mentally and physically. My sister declined further and had to be moved to a hospital ward where she spent the last 4.5 months of here life. When my sister was ready for hospice, Lesley and Larkin went above and beyond to bring her back so she could die with freedom and dignity surrounded by people who care. I will forever be in their debt for that giant act. My sister died 36 hours after coming back. I can’t begin to convey the depth of caring that they have for their residents. That depth is passed on to the staff. I have told our story and recommended Windsor to several people since then.

Our family could not be more grateful for the exceptional care my mother received while calling Windsor Manor home. The staff consistently went above and beyond for all my requests. My mother was treated with genuine kindness, compassion, and respect every day. It gave us tremendous peace of mind knowing she was in such a caring and supportive environment. The facility is welcoming, well-maintained, and filled with people who truly care about their residents. We will always appreciate the dedication and warmth shown to my mother and our family. My husband's mother has been at Windsor Manor for about 7 months now. She loves the staff and the care and attention she is given. She says the cook and the food are very good, too. She enjoys the activities, especially the bingo. Another plus, Mom has met some wonderful friends since she arrived there. Windsor is a clean and well run assisted living facility. It is a great peace of mind for us, that she is safe and happy there at Windsor. Thanks Windsor for being such a wonderful senior care facility.

Staff and Administration do a great job. The activities director does an excellent job of mixing entertainment and craft projects for the residents. Care Givers are pleasant knowledgeable and do an excellent job caring for the residents.

A warm & friendly atmosphere and we can’t say enough good things about the staff. Always there and willing to help when asked. Windsor Manor goes out of its way to accommodate the clients. When a member of our bridge club moved in, WM gave our club a room to play. So special to be able to continue playing with the ladies even though they now live at WM. When COVID-19 is over, we look forward to seeing our friends again.

Home. We all have immediate happy feelings about the place we call "Home." If you describe your home as "pleasant," "peaceful," "clean," "warm," and "comfortable" your home might look just like Windsor Manor. Each wall hanging is visually beautiful with words that communicate WELCOME." The individual rooms are spacious and well designed. Common areas are equally "cozy" and invite joyful times of food and friendship with other residents and the cordial and welcoming staff. When it's time for me to move to a "home" I will gladly consider Windsor Manor.
