I have been here 3 weeks at Walden Place. The staff/management is a well oiled machine. Activities Director Emily does a super job with lots of creative ideas. K.C. the Culinary Director provides different flavors. It never tastes like geriatric food.

I had a wonderful tour. I met staff. I even started the paperwork. I decided to put the deposit down. They gave me a choice of rooms. Everything was done with professionalism and respect. The studio I chose was perfect for me. A special shout-out to Josh and Ken. Those guys were awesome.

The building is welcoming and bright. There has been a lot of improvements going on indoors and outdoors. I love that pets are welcome to live with the residents! There is a beauty shop/ barber room, a chapel, a library, an exercise area, a huge activity/ multi purpose room, quiet areas for visiting, games and puzzles. Family and friends are always welcome. There is a calendar put out each month full of activities, weekly shopping, live music and happy hour, celebrations, outings, and so much more. Emily the activity director always has the cutest and most creative decorations and ideas for anything and everything going on. She and the other staff are involved, active, and enjoying interacting with the residents. Very nice dining area full of windows on one wall. Beautiful buffet put together often. Chef and kitchen staff encourage resident input. I truly enjoy the time i get to spend there!

I teach chair yoga at Walden Place and have had the privilege of doing so for almost 5 years. The staff are always kind and considerate. The residence are joyful and content. The space has had many updates in the past two years. It feels light and open, clean and efficient. Walden Place seems like a good fit for many folks, wanting to stay active in their later years. Periodically I provide music for the residents here. The staff always has a little party consisting of food, snacks & drinks for everyone involved. A very friendly environment. Emily Thompson, the Activity Director, is usually present to oversee that everything runs smoothly. All enjoy the festivities and the music especially! LOL I always look forward to playing at Walden Place. I would highly recommend living there to anyone!

All the staff is very professional, polite, and show a genuine sense of caring for the residents and their families. I've dealt mainly with Eddie, Ayron, and Valerie and they are all amazing and easy to talk to. The facility is clean and comfortable and the food is very fresh and tasty. A+

The staff truly care about those who live at Walden Place! Val, Eddie, Diana, Ayron, and Emily are great people who work hard to ensure their community members get what they need and go above and beyond to make each day special for their residents! They always have fun activities planned and provide opportunities for as much or as little interaction as each individual wants. Their culinary team is truly unmatched. Mirsad, Executive Chef, is exceptional and has really brought dining at Walden Place to a whole new level! I am thankful to have Walden Place as a care partner in our community!

Wow! Walden place is the place to be. The staff genuinely cares for their residents. They always have activities for those who live there. Val and Eddie are the dynamic duo that make the place run! Both are good people helping, caring and supporting the people in their building. If I could give this place 7 stars I would! Not only do they provide a safe and welcoming environment they have great resources to provide their residents. With close knit relationships with their community partners I know that whatever the job might be they will have an answer.

Waldon Place has an absolute wonderful staff. They care about the residents needs and try 100% to take care of those requests. They are open, honest and fair. Food is okay but could always use some changes and improvements. It is a little high on rent but if they improve the aesthetics of the apartments, that would be okay.

Resident support is great. I'm a resident of Walden Place,and have been for the past 9 years. I've seen some changes in those 9 years and am currently watching the remodeling update of our facility. There is a bit of a mess but in spite of my 91 years I am able to navigate safely around the construction. What is also amazing is that our staff, in particular our management team ,are able to function outside their customary office complex. They have to contend with the discomfort of having their office completely remodeled. They have to function in temporary quarters. I am happy to report that they are still able to do a great job. A special hats off to our activities coordinator, new on the job, Emily Thompson. Emily is doing an outstanding job of supporting our special activities here at Walden place, as well as exploring new avenues for entertainment and education of residents. Our manager.Valerie Monroe keeps everything humming. Val always has time for residence concerns. Valerie is the glue that holds everything together here. Val’s assistant, Diana answers the constant calls and always has a smile and a friendly greeting for all the Residents. I have attended several holiday parties and the activities are well planned and fun. The staff is very involved and make sure the residents are included and having a good time. There is always excellent food to go along with the themes. Overall just a great retirement community.

I recently had the pleasure of spending time at Walden Place where my adopted grandparents reside. This retirement community has left a lasting impression, particularly due to their dinning experiences. One of the standout features of Walden Place is the delightful dining experience it offers. The Executive Chef, Mirsad, is a culinary maestro who infuses passion into every dish. Meeting him was a pleasure, and it was evident that he cares deeply about both the food he creates and the people he serves. Beyond the exceptional cuisine, the dining atmosphere is warm and inviting. It's not just a place to eat; it's a space that fosters a sense of community and connection. Joining my grandparents for meals is a highlight of mine, and I could see the joy and satisfaction in the faces of fellow residents. Walden Place goes beyond providing nourishment for the body; it nourishes the soul through its commitment to creating a positive and enjoyable dining experience. I am looking forward to seeing the new dinning room after their remodeling is complete! The staff, including Mirsad, exudes a genuine warmth that makes every visit memorable.

I toured Walden Place a couple weeks back with Eddie who was very knowledgeable and personal. He was able to answer all my questions and share a few reasons why residents love this community. The staff and residents all seemed to enjoy themselves during my visit as well.

The managers, the chefs, the entire staff made my husband and our family feel like family. The genuine and mutual affection between staff and residents was always evident.
