Caring
Whispering Willow was perfectly fine for assisted living, but I'm going to need a higher level of care. It's a pleasant place. I met the staff on duty and the director. They were both courteous and knew their facility. It's easy enough to get to and it had convenient parking. The rooms were more than adequate, clean, and well-maintained in general. They're fine at what they do.

Caring
We selected Whispering Willow for my brother-in-law. The location, staff, apartment, and everything about it appealed to us. It's very homey and it's a family that runs it. You feel like one of the family. The dining room is just like a family dining room, and they had some ladies come in and sing, which is really enjoyable. They have some sort of activity every day. It's so small, but it really works for us. They have like five empty apartments and I'd love to see those get filled because it's an awesome place. The food is awesome, just like the rest of the place. A little lady comes in and cooks every day and she does a really good job. Were always happy with the meals that my brother-in-law is receiving.

I can not say enough that I could not think of a better place for my Mom to be with the frame of mind she is in right now. With the smaller unit there is so much less for these people to be overwhelmed with. I feel it is a much better option then a nursing home for people who do not need skilled nursing care both financially and enviroment.
