As a retired medical social worker, I've had the opportunity, thru my career, to work with Friendship Haven and their staff. The staff's priority was to make sure they could provide the "level of care" that a patient/person needs. Their professionalism, compassion and dedication was outstanding. After I retired I began swimming at Friendship Havens "Boomers" fitness program. Again, the fitness staff was outstanding and the pool and fitness area is never crowded, always clean and has several time options to accommodate your needs. And now, I am honored to sit on the board of directors at Friendship Haven. Our board takes their responsibility very seriously. We, along with administration and staff, put the residents first and everything else follows. The administration and staff are highly qualified individuals that have made Friendship Haven a "premiere" living community for aging and elderly adults. We are very fortunate to have Friendship Haven in our community.

I visited my grandpa who moved in over the Summer. The building was clean and well maintained. There was a nice store and a seating area with live birds to watch. We rented out a conference room to eat and gather in. It was nice and close to a restroom. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a lovely outdoor area with a fire pit and gazebo. There are also lots of nice benches.

Friendship Haven has been a blessing for my family. I consider myself lucky to have this nonprofit continuing care community near me, especially when my parents reached retirement. My dad eventually needed assisted living and then skilled care, which is why they chose to move to their townhome -- to keep independent living as long as possible while being close to care they may need. The neighborhoods and campus are beautiful, the staff is not only caring, but also professional, and there is plenty to do for active adults. Senior living is thriving at Friendship Haven.
