My mom was a resident at Eagle Point from the beginning of February until the middle of May. She had a good experience she loved her apartment. She thought the food was pretty good. It is a big facility. She did have a little problem getting around to go down to eat twice a day, but it was good for her too. Our experience with Liz was wonderful. She was extremely helpful. Made my moms stay there very pleasurable. There is also a new marketing person called Rachel. I knew her from a past job she is who I think you would be dealing with to get your tour and learn about the facility. You will really like her she is wonderful. When we got there, they had a new administrator Miranda I’m going to be honest I was not impressed with her at all. She did not respond there was billing problems, but I just learned recently she was let go so I’m sure they will have someone in there that’s doing a better job. I know my mom would recommend the place to other people. She just ran out of money and ended up going to an assisted-living Medicaid facility so her leaving had nothing to do with the facility itself.

My wife and I researched several facilities in eastern Iowa for my sister, who was moving home after living in Las Vegas most of her adult life. The staff was wonderful to work with and showed genuine concern for a smooth transition. They offer a variety of activities, and Eagle Point Place is very accommodating. 5 Stars.

We haven't moved my Mother in yet, but the apt we rented for her was very clean and nice. All of the staff we have interacted with have been super helpful and friendly. We haven't tried the food yet but the Chef that prepares the meals assured us they were delicious Will give a follow-up review in a couple of weeks

I loved it at eagle Point Place i did meet a lot of good friends there all the girls that work there were very nice and always helpful plus I loved all the games they had there Euchre and Poker plus all the other games they there plus I loved playing Bingo and the men and women who served the food were really great job and friendly and I had a really nice Apartment with the girls checking in on me to see if I w as okay and always on the ball to give me my pills that's about all I have to say.

Recently took a tour in our search for assisted living for my mother at Trustwell living at Eagle Pointe Place. We were very pleased with how clean and well run the facility was. Staff was friendly, especially a house keeper named Donica who help us on our tour. She was a breath of fresh air during what can only be described as a stressful time. My good friend Donica J works in housekeeping at Eagle Pointe Place and has such an amazing eye for keeping the place looking clean and organized for her coworkers but also for the residents of the facility. She also has an excellent work ethic and puts in amazing effort at giving 110% at her job when she's on call.

While taking a tour of the facility with family. I came up in a very sweet moment between a housekeeper named Donica and a resident. You could really tell she loved her job and her residence. She was very welcoming to us on our tour as well. Was nice to have such a positive interaction.

My aunt was living there and one night she fell and they had to wait for the ambulance to come and help pick her up the carestaff Brandy laid on the floor next to her and kept her calm until the ambulance got there.The staff there is the best Thank you

My son Tom works there and brought some of the residents to our Home for Holy Cross days. They all said they had a great time and I enjoyed having them. I am hoping they come back next year. My grandma has lived at Eagle Pointe Place for a year and a half. She absolutely loves it! They always have great activities and plenty of opportunities for socialization, the care is exceptional and staff are top notch! I could not recommended this place enough. Such a great assisted living facility! When I leave after visits, I don't worry because I know she is in good hands.

Grandma lived at Eagle Pointe for about three years and truly loved it. The transition was understandably difficult”any big move and life change can be”but once she settled in, she really began to thrive. Music was always a central part of Grandma’s life. After Grandpa passed away in 2011, she promised him she’d keep the music alive. That’s why discovering that Eagle Pointe prioritized live music”through happy hours, concerts in the garden, holiday performances, Monday afternoon bands, Tuesday sing-alongs, and more”felt like finding her new happy place. She was best known at Eagle Pointe for singing in the halls, especially her fun renditions of Chantilly Lace with another resident on the way to supper. I smile every time I think of that and all the joy Eagle Pointe brought her.

My mom will be moving in soon and Mackenzie has been so kind and caring helping us to find the perfect apartment for my mom. I can’t wait for my mom to move in. Heck it so much fun there I’ll be hanging around with her there lol It’s a beautiful place with tons of natural lighting, a perfect secluded location with lots of places outside to enjoy the weather and everyone we have dealt with us been amazing

My sister went to visit my Mother today and the lady with the dog is sitting on the couch again with a wastebasket throwing up!!! That is disgusting. Now the building will have to go through quarantine again, to prevent spreading of whatever she has. I'm sure she felt sick before she got to the lobby and should have stayed in her room. First of all I don't think that chair should be right by the desk, so she can hear what everybody is going on at the front desk. There is no PRIVACY. She is being nosy and she has no right to be privy to what is going on with other residents or staff. Every time I come in that DOG growls at me. What about people with allergies to pets. Pets should be kept in there room, except to relieve themselves outside away from the building. Don't get me wrong, I like dogs, but not everyone does. No residents should be aware of what is being discussed between staff and residents or staff to staff. This is privileged information, and if it is a medical issue being discussed, HIPPA guidelines are being broken. We always hear how there will be improvements, but nothing changes. I sent this email to Director 4 days ago, but no response. He is avoiding the issues.

If I could give you negative 20 stars it would be to many, This place has a couple rounds of sickness in the last few weeks, I stopped on Saturday the 11th to visit my Grandmother and there was a lady in the front lobby with her dog by the front desk holding a trash can puking in it I said something to the front desk lady that she should be in her room not spreading germs in the lobby/hallway, she said she called someone but couldn't do anything else. Why are sick residents allowed to be roaming the building spreading their germs and possibly getting others sick.

I would highly recommend Eagle Point Place. There are plenty of activities for any interest. The people are not just employees but build quality relationships with the residents. I was worried about my mom adjusting to the move but after a year I can truly say that it has been the best thing for her. She is happy and independent.

I love working with the people at this facility. They are so friendly, fun and treat their residents like Kings and Queens!! I would recommend them to anyone looking to move into an independent or assisted living facility. I can always feel the positive energy floating in the air whenever I step into the building. Terrific place. Covid was hard on everyone, but the staff did the best they could and worked hard to make sure everyone stayed safe. Now that things are opening up my dad has never been happier!

This is one of the best places to live. I couldn't express how much love and care is here. Eagle Pointe Place has one of the best Excextive directos; Jacobi Feckers. So willing and understanding - the staff in all departments are outstanding. If you are looking for a place to live - this would be the place - from daily activities - good food- beautiful grounds to walk on and even transportion. It's been rough with Covid - but Eagle Pointe Place has made the best of it and took the right precautions! If your looking for you new Home this would be the place to be.
