It can be hard to know what to do with an elderly parent who cannot be left alone when you want to travel afar to visit your grandchildren. Silvercrest made the process very easy to navigate. Everyone was very kind and helpful and my father's two week respite stay went very smooth. The staff made my father feel very welcome and helped him maneuver their schedule. It was a relief to find such a wonderful place to help me so I could travel. He also made friends with another early riser as they waited for breakfast to open

Well it's time to be honest I worked there for 8 months I was on the management team, it is a very nice facility, the residents are awesome most of the staff members are fantastic but the upper management, the GM of the facility to be exact that on the other hand really shouldn't be in that position, she is just very cold and uncaring with her lower management staff, none of them really get along with her because of her poor people's skills and most of the residents really don't have good things to say either, she's more of a behind the scenes paper pusher and numbers watcher rather than good hearted welcoming Ambassador which this nice facility really needs. So I would definitely consider that before you move in and then want to move out right away. The best thing you can really do, my opinion, is talk to the residents themselves if you can or request this before you make that big decision, I strongly recommend that.

My husband and I have been here 3 months and it is a fun place full of activities and friendly attentive staff and tenants. The food choices and quality is outstanding. The common areas are always clean. You couldn't be bored. Bus trips available for activities and appointments.

Toured with my mom and Tressa did an excellent job of showing us the amenities and more importantly the style, feeling and energy of the place. We were impressed with the facility and while I cannot comment on actually living there, I can say Tressa was fabulous to work with. Nothing high pressure and all about helping you understand aspects about the decision to make the move. We ended up at a different place mostly because of proximity to family. I recommend at least a visit to Silvercrest and think you will be impressed.

Everyone is short-handed, but this place seems to be exceptionally so. Front desk is often not manned, and when it is they are usually not helpful; every receptionist I've encountered in the past eight months could use some training. Poor communication amongst staff. Nursing staff, however, are friendly and help where they can.

I have been at Silvercrest for 1.5 months and have found an extremely receptive and friendly community. I love having my car safely housed in the same building, accessible whenever I want and I, myself, feel extremely safe in my apartment and buildings. All Staff that I have met are very warm, friendly and knowledgeable about any questions that I might have. Making the decision to leave my home and many of the possessions that I cherished was very hard but I have found real Peace, security, lovely apartment and warm atmosphere here at Silvercrest Garner Farms. My daughter and I visited and toured several Independent Living facilities and I am happy and content and safe with my choice of Silvercrest Garner Farms

While my father only lived in the independent living part of the commuinity a very short time, I was impressed by the helpful and friendly manner of all the staff. The community was very clean, bright and welcoming. The staff seemed to care very much about the residents. When my father unexpectedly passed away the staff was very sensitive and helpful concerning our needs and feelings. I wish my father could have lived there longer.

The assistants are all very kind to my mil, but the assistant living facility is highly understaffed. Long wait times to get assistance and only one driver for appointments so my wheel chair bound mil often has to cancel appts because the drivers schedule is filled. Only one nurse and it takes too long for her to visit. My mil had a bad bed sore that was not attended to for weeks.

Our entire family has been happy with Silvercrest Senior Living. My parents originally moved into the independent living community a few years ago. They had a beautiful apartment and truly enjoyed their experience. Recently, my mom decided to transition to assisted living and is thrilled with her decision. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. What my mom loves most about being in assisted living is that "you can be as independent as you want to be" yet have help in a moments notice if needed. This has turned out to be the perfect move for our mom. We highly recommend Silvercrest Garner Senior Living. Thank you Nicole for making my mom's transition positive, easy and welcoming! P.S. They have an awesome team of very kind people who genuinely care about their residents. A BIG shout out to all of them! : )

I would highly recommend both the Independent Living and Assisted Living communities at Silvercrest Garner Senior Living. My parents moved into Independent Living from their home of over 50 years and immediately felt at home there. The apartments are beautiful, the people that work there are friendly and personable, and there are lots of great activities that are very relevant to the community. When my parents transitioned over to Assisted Living it was a very easy and comforting move. Moving is hard! And the people at both communities made it so much less stressful. Although it is good when family members love a community, it is even better when the residents love a community. And both of my parents loved both communities and make a point of letting everyone know. Everyone that walks in the room is a friend, and that makes all the difference in the world. Thank you Silvercrest Garner!!!!

Silvercrest is a wonderful environment for my Mother-In-law. The staff is nothing short of amazing. They treat her like family and they truly care about her well being. We feel very fortunate that we discovered this hidden gem.My Mother-in-law is in the memory care unit and prior to going there she was getting progressively worse. Since she has been a resident at Silvercrest she has stabilized. I credit the staff and their many daily activities that are designed to engage and challenge the residents as well as being uplifting and fun. In talking to the staff I also realize there is a well thought out plan from the design to the timing of these daily activities. They also encourage the family members to be involved in any and all activities-events. I would like to give a huge shout out and kudos to the wonderful staff at Silvercrest. Thank you for helping us through this very difficult time in our lives, we could not do it without you.

My mother Dorothy lived in the independent living and then later transferred to assisted living. She enjoyed the the atmosphere, staff, and especially the new friends she made. She was able to participate in more activities while in the independent living building and enjoyed the card games and bingo. The accommodations were well maintained with plenty of windows and a courtyard to let the sunshine in. The staff was friendly and always addressed her as Miss Dorothy. Our family was comforted to know that she was in an environment that was safe and had someone 24-7 to watch over and assist her.

Fabulous facility that has loved on my parent-s for 12+ years. Their love and care surpasses all. Communication is fabulous. In fact as I am creating this, they set up a FaceTime. Dads face was shocked to see me. His kiss brought tears to my eyes. Activities for all. Every staff member takes time to love on the residents.

Silvercrest is a great place to work! Ive created amazing memories and relationships with both staff and residents i even met my future husband here! Being a working mom of 3 its really hard to find a place that you truly enjoy coming to everyday, that understands you have children and they also have needs. things can pop up at anytime with them and they fully understand and are compassionate about it. They are a family first community and this alone is extremely important to me! They also have amazing advancement opportunities i have watched many of my fellow employees continue to climb up the ladder and do fantastic! If youre looking for a job you should absolutley come check it out! If youre looking for a new place its a great community with tons of activities mentally and physically and great future friends everywhere!!
