....Really Nice place to live ! Expensive ? YES ! But...it’s worth it ! NO COMPLAINTS! The FOOD is really GOOD... The Head CHEF is terrific ....and the Staff, management, etc. do all they can to make us feel AT HOME ! NO “Worries”.....just enjoy & BE HAPPY & COMFORTABLE....a LOT of Amenities available!

Senior Star is the top notch place for senior living! My Grandmother has been there 3 years and she loves it. We really enjoy visiting with her and the other residents. Holidays are my favorite because they put on a fantastic meal for the residents and their families. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I really do enjoy every visit!

I moved to assisted living a year and a half ago for my husband of 70 years because he needed extra care. When he passed away, I wanted to remain here even though I didnt need extra assistance. The kindness and friendliness of the entire staff here at Senior Star makes me feel at home everyday!

Wonderful place the staff is very friendly. If anything happens to my Mom the nurses contact me immediately. Residents have lots of activities they can participate. I really appreciate the care that Senior Star provides my Mother.

My mom was a resident of Senior Star for a little over 3 years. We cannot say enough good things about Senior Star. The staff was incredible, the building & rooms beautiful and comfortable. Loved all the outings and activities that she got to participate in. The knowledge that she was being taken care of so well was priceless and a big load off of our minds. Senior Star is unlike any other senior living facility in the QC area. When we found out that it was time to place my grandparents into a facility other than their own home we were so nervous. After working with and touring many homes in the area we were unexpectedly amazed when we stepped foot into Senior Star. The assisted living facility is gorgeous and set up in a safe, friendly environment. Most importantly I know my grandparents are safe, well cared for and loved at Senior Star. We are grateful for your services and everything you do for the seniors and families in the QC area!

Institutional food is a challenge. For breakfast how about, bacon with eggs, rather than sausage? For cereal how about granola? Prefer evening meal at 5:30 or option of noon. Apples are very small and bananas are at times too ripe. Chairs in dinning room were worn out long ago. Some trees are partially dead. Some Post on front porch need repainting.

Senior Star at Elmore Place is my home away from home. I truly enjoy coming to work every day and continuously developing relationships with my residents and my associates (some of which have become good friends!!). Its the little things that mean the most and l love that I can do what I can to create a better quality of life for them and leave their families knowing that they are cared for. Its like having 50+ grandparents in one place. We all take care of each other and laughter is guaranteed every day!

Please take a look at this facility. So much better than their competitor Country Manor. Country Manor has a revolving door staff turn over rate and has compromised the care of their residents. Look here and look no further.

Senior Star Assisted Living hires some of the best nurses. It is comforting to have Nurse Laura caring for Dad. She literally cares for Dad head to toe - Laura discovered the melanoma on the bottom of Dads foot and encouraged him to seek medical attention. Within weeks, the cancer was removed. Nurse Laura assisted the Visiting Nurse with Dads wound care. She patiently explained the process for the graft to heal to me, which eased my concerns. Weve checked into closer Senior Star facilities, but Dad is so happy with the care from Nurse Laura at Elmore Place; well be traveling the 6 hours to see Dad where he is happiest. 5 stars

I own a senior placement service in Westport called CarePatrol. We have worked with Spring Meadows for many years now. This is very good community for Independent and assisted living. They now also have a small memory care community as well. The community is very clean and mgmt there is very attentive to all aspects of senior care. I would definitely recommend this community as a safe option for those who require senior assisted and senior independent living.

The family is moving Mom and Dad from another facility. During the interview and tour, I became convinced, from past experience, that while providing essentially the same services, the Staff at Senior Star is even more resident-focused than any of the other facilities weve visited or lived in. This is my impression before moving in March 29, 2017. I will update this review as time goes on but I expect only to be more glowing in my report.

This place is absolutely beautiful, no matter which building you are in. The staff is warm and helpful and interact with residents almost continually. There are many activities for the residents to keep their hands and minds busy.

As a physician who has several patients at the Manse, I can without reservation say that the facility offers outstanding assisted living care. It is always clean, caring, and compassionate. The goal of providing a stimulating and safe residence for seniors starts from the top down- from Chris the owner, to the many caregivers that provide kindness to the residents. Great job!
