New facility nicely apportioned.

I have lived here with my wife, Harriet, and our dog, Charlie, for several years. While we currently have our apartment for sale, it is not because of any negative qualities of Prairie Gardens Cooperative. Rather, this building is one of the highest quality constructed buildings around. Each apartment has a deck. I frequently enjoy drinking morning coffee and afternoon tea. Our particular location on the third floor is always out of the wind, private and sunny and warm. The security is very good, requiring a key or a fob to access this building from any door. I draw comfort from that. But the neighborhood is pretty guiet anyway. The underground garage is a significant advantage with Iowa's dynamic weather. Clean, well lit and dry, it is perfect for storage as well and we are allocated space for a large metal cabinet. The real clincher for us was there is a dog park! Charlie plays a lot of frisbee out there. And a generous cooperative member has built a gazebo in the park to provide some shade for all the players. With a pub to watch those Hawkeyes, the world series and super bowl, a craft room, an exercise room and a large community room for pot lucks, meetings and parties of your own plus a guest room for visiting family members, a complete life style can be enjoyed by all of us. The staff who take care of this building are great, friendly and will do just about anything for our comfort and peace of mind. So, you see? This place has it all! And it's pretty!
