It may not have all of the amenities of some of the new, huge assisted livings, but my mother is perfectly happy here. Plus, they are a smaller community so I know she gets more attention and she isn’t just a number.

My mother has lived here for 2 years and we wouldn't consider moving her anywhere else. We actually thought about it so she could be closer to us, but she didn't want to leave her friends, including caregivers!

Azalea is a great place to call home The food is prepared by our very own Chef John. We have. the best Med tech is Stella in the world who gives us our meds on time. We have music therapy afternoon tea and Trivia. Just for FUN Bingo win prizes. Bible study weekly and a big Popcorn maker with movie night. The ladies enjoy Primp and Polish and a large front porch with a swing and rocker to relax and read a book. We are in a great location come by The Executive Director will give you a personal tour and meet all the residents and enjoy her company she spends lots of time with us comes to see us when we are sick in the hospital or nursing home.recovering. Come join us.

Im always hesitant to give anything 5 stars. But considering a family member of mine has been in and out of 1-2 star places this gets a 5. Sherry has worked with us since day 1 and given what we have to work with, this is our best scenario and I sleep better at night knowing things are taken care of over there. The nurses also give me updates when I visit and believe me when I say, they care. Thanks for everything 🙂

Very nice place. Its not a palace, but its affordable and the people are very caring and friendly. Its not a humongous place with 200 or 300 residents who are often just a number rather its more like a big family with a small number of residents (30, I think). Unless youre a millionaire and money is no object, this is a great place to be.

This is the end of my second week as Marketing Director. The owners have been very accommodating with my requests and every day the property looks better and better! The new chef really knows how to cook old- school, homemade dishes that our southern residents are used to. The residents love her! I'm looking forward to seeing the plethora of positive changes we have in store in the near future.

My grandfather moved in to Azalea Manor just over a year ago in August 2017. It took him a few months to get use to the change. He is now in his 100th year and loves the staff and has made some friends. He can be challenging at times, when he is feeling down or doesn't want to take wanting to take his medication etc. but there is always some one on staff that knows how to smile, be patient, and help him out. My dad and I visit him two or three times a week and he is usually snoozing in his recliner, hanging out in the common area, or sitting on the front porch.

Did not like the reviews but took the chance and boy am I glad I did. The director, sales staff , activities and care staff were so welcoming and friendly. They have clearly done a lot with renovations and it is still happening. The new owner really cares about the residents and is doing a lot to upgrade everything. Absolutely worth the $2000 a month we pay now for my dad. So happy we are here !
