When time came that I could no longer give my mother the care she needed Morningside of Dalton was highly recommended. The staff is so caring. Mother loves both the residents and the staff and thoroughly enjoys the activities. I appreciate the care that my mother receives and would highly recommend them.

The staff at Morning Side are incredible! My Mother in law loves living there. The food is excellent and she brags constantly about how they clean her clothes.. ( says like from the dry cleaners) They have so many fun activities for everyone too.. She loves singing at the devotionals.. We feel so blessed that she lives in a loving and caring place.. The manager Toni helped us so much getting all the paperwork together to get her in.. She is fantastic!

I have been and is currently a Private Caregiver here off and on since 2007. I have to say I very pleased with all of the staff and I really enjoy the peaceful atmosphere that it has. Ive seen a lot of changes for the better and love the warm welcoming faces of everyone. The residents seem to love and enjoy the care that the staff provides.

This place has a warm and homelike feeling from the moment you walk in. The staff are authentic and friendly with a knowledgeable approach to the residents and family. The staff is extremely attentive to the needs and oversight of their residents while promoting independence and dignity. The atmosphere is like coming home to a caring family.

As a home health nurse I visit many assisted living facilities and Morningside of Dalton is by far the very best. Everyone is super nice and helpful. The facility nurse,Angie, is super attentive and goes out of her way so that my patients are being taken care of.

I Love Morningside of Dalton. I love coming in and seeing all the smiling faces of the residents and staff. When I walk through the doors, my heart smiles, because inside is a place where people are cared for and well loved by All:-) I just wish my mom lived closer so she can be a part of such a wonderful place and enjoy all the activities, and socializing with the other folks who call this wonderful place Home. Morningside of Dalton has got to be one of best assisted living facilities in the area. Mom has been there over 4 years now, and I know that I couldnt have made a better decision! The director, Toni Thompson (no relation) has assembled a wonderful and caring staff. In fact, many of the team members have been there for at least as long as Mom has. To me, that says a lot.They just hosted another terrific Mothers Day luncheon. I watched as every single staff member gladly jumped in to help anybody and everybody with anything and everything! Theres none of that Its not my job! attitude, which is so very refreshing.The facility is clean, nice and well maintained. The food overall is quite good. Residents are shown care and compassion by the staff. They have diverse daily activities and special programs. The nursing director and her staff are knowledgeable and helpful. If you are looking for an assisted living facility for yourself or a family member, I venture to say you absolutely couldnt make a better choice than Morningside of Dalton.

In November 2017 I joined the Morningside family as a Resident Assistant and worked there a little over a year. During my time there I was able to train in several departments, and had the opportunity to build my resume with many new skills I had gained. I loved how some of the staff quickly became my family. Dale, Crissy, Toni, and Angie all played a part in my professional growth and I am so grateful for them. Life happened and my grandparents needed to find a place that could give them 24 hour care, so I never hesitated to recommend Morningside to them. Everyone was so helpful to my family and I to make this such an easy transition for them, and me, as it was an adjustment being a Resident Assistant as well as a Granddaughter at the same time and place. I later decided to take another job opportunity, but I miss working at Morningside daily. I never second guess if my grandparents are happy and thriving because they definitely are. I will forever be grateful for my experience with Morningside of Dalton.

The staff here are AMAZING! The staff everywhere from the business office, kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance and nurses are extremely friendly, willing to help whenever asked, and are always making sure my father is well taken care of. I cant say enough how pleased I am we found this wonderful place for dad!

Morning Side of Dalton is a number one assisted living community. The atmosphere is beyond words.It is amazing. After visiting three other facilities l knew where going to put my aunt. Everyone was helpful with all of the information and showing us around the and answering our questions. The spacious living area of the apartment were perfect. Just like being at home. The staff were all wonderful to us and our aunt. We love Morning Side.

The first time I came to Morningside of Dalton looking for a job 11 years ago, I had no idea how my life would change. I lost my parents many years ago and when I am around the precious residents, it gives me meaning to my life. They are a joy and I feel like I make a difference in their lives. I have grown so close to the residents, families and the staff at Morningside. I truly have found a second home. Thanks to all the staff and the residents and their families for allowing me to be part of their family.

I have visited every Assisted Living Community in this area. I want to make sure I find the best setting for my Mother. I have chosen Morningside of Dalton after careful consideration. The one thing that stands out about this community is the warm, loving atmosphere that permeates its every aspect. You can tell that this staff not only cares for its residents, they truly love each and every one of them. I have dined there and can vouch for the appealing variety of food served in an appetizing presentation. They get high marks for cleanliness and attention to detail. The Director, Toni Thompson, is a hands on manager and is very knowledgable about the needs of older adults. The Receptionist, Chrissy, was also very helpful. Mother and all of us are most pleased with our decision, and look forward to this next phase of her life.

We had to have more help and assistance for my mom and we chose Morningside. Im so glad we did. The staff are wonderful. They are caring and helpful. They were there for her in every way. They had activities all the time and as long as mom was able she participated and enjoyed them. She enjoyed the food, it was very good. Mom recently had a hospital stay and the nurse and administration staff came to visit her. She then passed away and the administrative staff and a health tech came to the funeral home. They also knew I was hurting and sent a flower arrangement to me. The one word I have for them is CARING. They do care and it shows.

Approximately 2 years ago I was faced with the hard decision to move my grandmother to an assisted living facility. As a nurse I had volunteered at several of the facilities in Dalton. I made my decision based on the quality of care, cleanliness, and professionalism I had witnessed at Morningside as a volunteer. I have been very pleased with my grandmothers care. The staff is excellent and compassionate to my grandmothers needs. Toni Thompson runs a wonderful facility and always goes above and beyond to make sure my grandmother is happy. I would highly recommend Morningside. The staff has become an extended family to both my grandmother and me. I never worry about her care or safety and this is invaluable for peace of mind.

Words cant express how grateful I am for Toni, Crissy and the staff at Morningside of Dalton...It is apparent that they have a passion for what they do for the residents as well as the families...They are truly angels here on earth helping care for our loved ones...It was a difficult decision for us to move my grandmother to assisted living and Toni not only put my mind at ease but went above and beyond to ensure the transition went smoothly as she was always accessible and there for us every step of the way...I have talked with other family members of residents there and always receive positive feedback regarding the staff (everyone seems friendly and enjoy what they do), the facility (cleanliness, safety, overall enviornment), food (variety), and the activities (games, live entertainment, devotion, exercise, field trips - something going on daily)...Morningside of Dalton is one big family that we feel blessed to be a part of and have made friends for life!

Morningside of Dalton is a wonderful facility! My 83 yr old dad, who has recently shown signs of advancing dementia, lives at Morningside and weve been very pleased with the care he is given. Every one of the staff treats each resident with care and respect. They know each individuals special needs and preferences and really go out of their way to assure all their residents are comfortable, happy and well taken care of! The facility itself is very comfortable, clean and has a wonderful home-like decor and feel. They have beautiful grounds that are very well maintained and a calendar full of activities and entertainment for everyone to enjoy! I recommend Morningside to anyone who is in need of an assisted living facility for their loved one, with all the comforts of home!

I recently went to an event that Morningside of Dalton hosted and it was so much fun. Everyone was so nice and the community was so nicely decorated for the holidays. The residents were having a party in the lobby as we were busy making door hangers in the dining room. Morningside was such a warm and welcoming environment. I will definitely be attending other events.

We brought my very independent grandmother here. The apartments are fantastic. She was able to have it painted the color she chose and decorated with her furniture. She had her own private entrance. She was able to have potted roses and and tree with a bird feeder in her garden area.She really grew to love the place. Now about the people, they were truly the most dedicated and caring individualizes and have stayed family friends. I would not only trust them with my life I would trust them with the lives of those I love.

Morningside is great!!! My mother is treated as a respected member of the community. Her ideas are solicited by staff and her opinions are valued. They even have a resident council. Activities there are great and have helped Mom stay alert and active. I just wish she has become part of Morningside sooner.
