The Oaks is a very poor excuse for a PT facility. The experience our family had for my mother has been absolutely awful. On transfer day, the meds were all delayed and some were not even administered. Meds have been an issue ever since and mom is on day 5 out of 10 referred for. Last night nurse [name removed] refused to administer mom's pain meds. There have been issues with equipment and due to shortage of wheelchair the staff has not attended to mother's bathroom needs. Since this became an issue mom's personal wheelchair was brought to the nursing facility, the staff made aware that it was her personal chair and not to be removed, yet they took her personal wheelchair anyways at night while she slept. The food at every meal has been cold and a poor diet in reference to the medical conditions mom has. My siblings and myself have been to the facility every day and because of the poor care sometimes twice a day. I am thoroughly discussed with the treatment and care the facility has given mom.

The Oaks Assisted living is a very nice place. My mother is there and I have been very pleased with the care that she receives. The administrator and staff are very caring and helpful. They take very good care of her. They also provide transport to Doctors appointments if needed. The facility is very clean, no odor and very attractive. They offer snacks and the dining room is very nice with cloth tableclothes and cloth napkins. There are a variety of activities offered such as Bingo, art activities, guest speakers, singing, etc. I am so thankful she is there ! I highly recommend the Oaks Assisted Living at Baldwin, Georgia!

My mother-in-law has been living here 2 months now. This is such a lovely place! The entire staff is truly amazing! Everyone is so sweet. They take excellent care of their residents. The facility is clean and very well maintained. The food they serve the residents is outstanding as well! All the residents I have met are so very nice and seem so happy! Mama has made a lot of friends and is very happy here. We are so grateful for the entire staff @ The Oaks. Ransome is always available to his residents and their families. He is such a wonderful and caring person. He truly goes above and beyond! We are blessed! I highly recommend The Oaks for your family member, or yourself! I could go on and on with this review about all the wonderful things about Tho Oaks, but you would be reading for hours!

Very pleased with the facility and staff. Everyone has always been nice and have always answered any questions that I have had. Facility has always been clean and my mom is happy there. I ask for a bar to be added to her shower and it was done within a day.

I see that several of you folks have the wrong facility posted on here. The assisted living facility is not under any type of investigation. They do not drug the patients and they are free to come and go as they wish. They are not locked or blocked in. There are 3 facilities in the same area. The rehab is the first one you come to beside that is skilled nursing. The assisted living is all the way in the rear of those buildings. Please just be careful which one you post about because we all know how word of mouth is. I were the one giving the review i would want to make sure i was posting to the correct one.

My Mom loved the Rehab. Has been in other Rehab facilities multiple times. Stated this is such a friendly place she wouldnt mind living there! The Rehab team was very loving and supportive .

The Oaks-Scenic View assisted living home is a clean, home like facility. You cant ask for a friendlier, more caring staff with a lot of fun activities. The formal dining room is gorgeous. Management responds to questions and concerns immediately. You can trust that your loved one will be well cared for here.

My Father has been in the memory care wing of The Oaks at Scenic View for 10 mths. The care they have given my father has been great. We had to remove him from a nursing home in Decatur were he was left with no clothes in a cold room, shaking uncontrollable for hours while nurses came and went, without so much as putting a blanket on him, (I asked the other patients there who saw what was going on, and even had a nurse confirm the story). The day I showed up , without notice, to take him out of there, he was naked again in a cold room, shaking uncontrollable. My father lost 30lb in 30 days in that facility. At the Oaks, my dad has recovered some weight and is always clean and taken care of. My dad may not have long to live, but I feel better knowing he is in good hands at The Oaks at Scenic View.
