The Savoy is a wonderful Independent Living Community. The Managers and Staff are very involved in ensuring a comfortable, visually elevated, and safe environment for the residents. They are open and responsive and have the best interest of the whole Savoy Family in mind, through every decision and choice they make. The Residents are very welcoming, active, collaborative, and supportive of each other! They enjoy spending time together gathering on the beautiful porches, laughing together during chair volley ball, and advocating for each other if someone is missing from dinner and may need a "check in". They truly care for one another and invite new residents to participate in gatherings and activities. There is an amazing Activity's Director which schedules and facilitates enriching and amusing activities. The residents participate in everything from Group Exercise Classes in the Heated Pool to Yoga, Pet Therpy or Chair Massages, Pool Table Challenges, a Game of Cards or Bingo, Reading Clubs, Crafts, and more! Additional ammenties such as a Movie Theater, Chapel, Library, Hair Salon, and Gym make it so that your family member doesn't have to go far for entertainment! The Chef and his staff are very hospitable and accomodating to residents and their guest. They often put on special occassions which mimic a fine dining dinner party atmosphere, but can also deliver casual meals that are tastey and nutritous! The housekeeping team is very interactive with residents and grow to care about their well being on a personal level, which is always a plus! The maintenence crew is always seen upkeeping the community as you would your own home! They are extrememly helpful and are willing to give an extra hand. There are in-house, Home Care Services and Home Health Phycical Therapy available within the building, which enhance the saftey and independence of residence, when needed during times of increased care. I would definitly recommend The Savoy as a wonderful communicty to move your loved one into! You can feel the positive culture as soon as you walk in... I was hired as a housekeeper about six months ago. I love my job. My residents give me life! I love coming in and seeing all their faces and putting a smile on them. From the jokes to the plethora of information they give me each day I walk in happy as a lark to work every morning. I adore all my best friends and I look forward to every best friend to come!

The Savoy is a newer community & it's beautiful inside & out. The resident here is so sweet & loving. Looking for a new retired home, I would definitely recommend this community. I've worked here as an Assistant Manager so, I know personally. The managers at this community (Jan & Rich Stemmerman) are 2 of the sweetest & nicest managers ever! As the son of new residents of the Savoy, I couldn't be more excited for the opportunities my parents will have. The amenities are amazing, the grounds are phenomenal, and the apartment is fantastic! All three of those are eclipsed by the staff! I can say that the managers and staff already feel like family! I'm impressed that my parents have already make friends within the community. And they truly don't need to leave the Savoy. When they do, Winter Springs is a cute little community. Maybe that is what I'm feeling; my parents are in a beautiful place with family and friends building a community. I am thankful to the Savory and Hawthorn family for providing this opportunity to my parents.

My husband has been here for a month and loves it! The facility is beautiful and immaculate. The food is so good he has put on a few much-needed pounds. The management and staff are very accommodating and there are multiple daily activities on site as well as outings. Fellow residents are friendly and welcoming. I can't say enough good things about The Savoy and feel confident we've found a good placement.

I moved my parents into The Savoy in Winter Springs almost a year ago. Very happy with the experience there. It's a beautiful facility with a gracious and caring staff and friendly residence. The food is quite good with a variety of choices daily. I love this place and would live there myself... Maybe someday!

I moved to the Savoy three months ago. I'm very happy with my new lifestyle. Management is very helpful and goes the extra mile for each resident. Both residents and staff are very friendly and make everyone feel welcome. I love the beautiful building and especially my new apt.

Being hired as the activity coordinator has been a godsend for me. I love my job and all my residents. Exercise and activity are very important to us here, I work hard to provide a stream of new physical and cognitive activities for our residents to enjoy. Entertainment is also a H U G E part of my job. My nametag says Activity Coordinator/"CEO of Fun" for a reason, we have a lot of fun around here! We provide a variety of entertainment for our residents and encourage family members to join the party! We make some form of art daily, my most recent favorite is diamond art and our crochet club is VIP. BINGO! is a B I G deal here and we play it four days a week in house. We also have every single board game or card game you can think of! I couldn't ask for a better team of coworkers and our main goal is always to provide what's best for our residents.

I have been hired on as one of the assistant managers to run this place and I will say that since I have started, everyone has been very kind and friendly. The workers here are loving people who go above and beyond for the residents who live here. And not just that, but the residents here are a bunch of lovely people who are friendly and are accepting of others. The building is gorgeous with quite a lot to do and the food is absolutely delicious! It truly makes everyday worth going to work for.

Newer construction. Independent living at it's best!Rooms are very spacious and clean. Feels like home, not like a hotel or spa resort. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. All the residents appear to be happy and content. It is pricey, but you get a lot for the price.

I was recently hired as a new assistant manager here at The Savoy, and I can personally say this is the best job I have ever had. The Savoy really puts working from your heart as a top priority. Through out my time have I have been able to build meaningful and valuable relationships with almost all of the residents and they truly have become a part of my family. I wake up looking forward to come to work every day! The community and family built up at The Savoy is no doubt the reason. From kind and attentive housekeepers to Activity Coordinators and Maintenance Managers that put the happiness of our residents at the top of their priorities, The Savoy allows me to be myself and do a meaningful and purposeful job. You would be plain silly to not consider moving yourself, your loved ones, and friends into The Savoy.

My parents recently moved into the Savoy, they had been waiting for construction to be completed as it is brand new. It was a hard decision for them to give up their house and move to independent living but so far it does not disappoint. My parents are being very well cared for at The Savoy. It is an elegant and friendly new place for them to call home. They are served 3 meals a day and have a housekeeper on a regular basis. The staff has been exceptional. They have daily activities and outings and constantly stay busy and active. It's a great place!

If you are looking for a fabulous community for yourself or a loved one, The Savoy is a must see. My parents moved in February after waiting patiently for the final inspections of the Savoy. My father has truly embraced this community because of the warmth and welcoming atmosphere that they provide. The only complaint would be that my parents are always having fun and I am not. We eat almost every Sunday with them and the food is of 5 star quality. The chef takes his time making sure that all of the needs of the residents are met. What more could you ask of a community that takes care of your parents. The Respect and service the residents receive is exemplary and I am very happy that my parents feel loved, cared for and safe. I highly recommend this beautiful living to anyone that can get in.

We just moved my mom into the Savoy. The place is beautiful inside and out. We have had a couple meals with her and the food has been very good as well... probably the best feature of all, though, is the staff; super friendly and helpful. My mom already loves the place and has made a couple new friends even though they have only been open for a week or so.

I was hired back in October,for a housekeeping/ server position.they lied right away about how soon they were opening.they hired everyone to do their dirty work,like construction cleaning and moving furniture off semi trucks.if you are looking for a position here,good luck to you they have two housekeepers that think they are the stars and give orders to others when they are not the boss.management thinks everything is funny and admitted they hired people for their smiles instead of their experience...um wth. I must admit the place is stunning,but the boss let's these non experience housekeepers get away with it and these girls know it.they will do the same to you..four people quit since last October, including the new assistant managers.so,what does that say....so happy I found a job two days later making more pay, my new employers treat their employees with respect and show no favoritism like the Savoy does. Be warned if you consider working here.

This senior living facility is 5 stars, starting with the location in beautiful high-end Winter Springs. Management and staff are dedicated, warm, polite. The housekeeping staff are outstanding! Executive Chef Ramon and kitchen staff are excellent, ready to please the residents with the amazing food preparations. Residents love the Chocolate Chip cookies made from scratch as is the bread, pizza and cuisine.

I believe I was the 2nd or 3rd person to move into the Savoy. As soon as it was safe for those of us who were waiting to move intro our chosen apartments. As soon as the finishing touches were added I knew I would be proud to have chosen The Savoy Gracious Retirement living building as my new and ,most likely , final place to call my home.. I tell new residents and/ or those looking and thinking about where to live ,yes, it is beautiful and offers anything most seniors Will and do want in their home but It is the management, bus driver , activity director maintenance man, waiters waitresses , cleaning women and men cooks and chef that make the a place filled with with the most loving, sensitive people . I consider all those I mentioned, my new second family. I have made many new friends and cannot find even one negative to share. With anyone. . The amenities are like no other place in the area. I moved in February after waiting patiently for the final inspections of the Savoy. I am truly happy to be here. Doug and Mary and all the staff are not only warm and compassionate but a joy to be around. The respect and service I have received is exemplary. I absolutely love the planned activities - thank you Kathy for the wonderful job you do keeping us active. The atmosphere at the Savoy is welcoming, accommodations are beautiful. My only complaint ..I gained 10 pounds since I moved in .... food is absolutely delicious. Thank you to the Chief and all the staff. I would not want to live any place else - I highly recommend the Savoy.

My mom moved into The Savoy three weeks ago and absolutely loves it. I am very impressed not just by the beauty of the building and the amount of services offered but also by the extremely kind, helpful and professional staff. My husband & I have lived here a month. The managers and staff are patient, caring people who want us to be safe, happy, & well fed. Daily activities provide exercise for body & brain. Fun entertainment keeps us laughing. Great move for us! If you are thinking about downsizing, don't hesitate to check out The Savoy!

The main negative review is from a disgruntled former employee who did not follow instructions from her chef. She made barely edible food and this resulted with many resident complaints. It is good to have a head chef that takes a personal interest in his kitchen with pride in resident satisfaction. Most other negative posts are hearsay from non residents. We are always treated kindly and with respect by ALL the staff and management.

I'm a new resident at what I call now home. The Savoy Gracious Retirement in Winter Springs is the best place . I can tell you it is changing my life. It is a real family home. Starting the 24/7 live in managers and staff. Have experienced so many happy moments in such a short time. There is a contagious smile all the time. Chef Ramon is amazing as well as his team. Chef meets with us to obtain our likes and dislikes. Every meal is amazing. He listens to us. We are constantly being served drinks,tea, coffee. Managersit with us while also serving coffee and even helping with dishes SERVERS are very pleasant and try their best to please us.. I have not seen any of the staff treat us unkind words. They always making us laugh and making sure we are pleased. Managers live in 24/7 and attend immediately to our calls. We have an amazing director Cathy Knight .She constantly with a smile I have been to museums,dining out. Cathy is providing us exercises,you will love, even if don't like doing. All activities are amazing. Thank you Cathy for taking care of us by providing entertainers, health providers providing how to take care of ourselves We have 2 daily movies. Great movies at 2pm and another at 7pm. There are so many choices. I can honestlysay if you are planning on moving, this the place to b.. You will not regret it Thank you all employees and staff for making us have a great home Do not believe of any negative reviews. THEY ARE ALL FALSE. There are people who want to do harm. Do not believe those lies.
