My mom's visit to the Noreen McKeen Rehab Center was an unexpectedly uplifting experience. I had initially read some poor reviews on Google, but then heard wonderful word-of-mouth experiences so I decided to give this place a try for my Mom. It's unfair that people choose to only post negative reviews, hence the time I am taking to post this positive one. Upon my mom's initial admission, the staff quickly greeted her with genuine smiles and an eagerness to assist. Vivian and Paula are the 2 nurses that stood out the most for us as well as nurse's aide Ambrosini. All of the physical therapists were not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly patient, taking the time to explain each exercise and its purpose, ensuring that my Mom understood the importance of her participation in the recovery process. The role of the nurses and director of nursing like Glenda is pivotal, as they not only provide medical care but also emotional support, which is crucial for patients. Their dedication to their work often goes beyond routine tasks; they become a source of encouragement and hope for patients and their families. The fact that my Mom had a great experience over her ten-week stay is a testament to the compassionate and professional environment fostered at the Noreen McKeen Rehab Center. I would wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone in need of physical rehabilitation. The dedication of the staff and the comprehensive care provided make it a shining example of what a physical therapy facility should be.

My mom has been there for a couple of months I came down from New York to visit her last week and the facility was amazing .I met great nurses and the activity staff Ashley Was very nice and hands on with the residents My mom spoke very highly of the facility and stated they take very great care of her Thanks to The Noreen team

Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residence has been instrumental in caring for my Mother of 94 years old. The level of care and compassion is excellent, she has been there for 4 years. The staff is always polite and attentive to her, they are always willing to be helpful of any concerns or suggestions I may have in the care of my mother. We have a care plan in place that is reviewed regularly with me about her care, etc. I want to thank head nurse Winslow and her nursing staff for the attention and care they give her. And, another thank you to Lisa and Rosie of Social Services who keep mom active with various social events. Without question, I highly recommend Lourdes McKeen which has outstanding medical staff and social services programs. They have earned my trust in caring for my mother!

We've tried several assisted living facilities in our area and Lourdes Noreen McKeen staff and facilities truly stand out above the rest in terms of providing a consistent quality of care. My mom could not be in a better place. The caring staff, nutrious food, & cleanliness is way above my highest expectations. She has been there now 4 years & I feel blessed for my loving mom to be in such a beautiful place. Any issue at all they inform me & are right on it ! God bless these Angel's of God for what they do. The staff, sisters, priests, aids, & all who work there. My sincerest thanks for your total dedication to the elderly.

The room was lovely and the OT/PT staff fantastic. We were told that it would probably take my father six weeks or more to adjust to living in their memory wing. My mother had just passed away and he was mourning her death as well as trying to adjust. Dad has mild dementia. He is also immobile. He finds it painful to sit up for very long because of the pain. I do not live in the area and was in the hospital at the time, but when a bed became available here, we were able to get him in. I came down as soon as I could and visited him every day. Before that, I made daily calls to check on him and speak with him. We hired an aide from an independent agency to help ease my father's transition. We had a couple of conference calls, including one where I explained that my dad was on minimal drugs because he had adverse reactions to many common ones. Once while I was visiting, Dad asked to be gotten up. When I asked an aide for help, he came in and told my father that it was pointless, since he would immediately ask to go back to bed after being gotten up. I discovered that the rest of the residents were up in the common room having snacks in the mid-afternoon. Each day while I was there, I went down and got my dad some because nobody had offered him any. On the very last day of my stay, I was called in and told that I had 48 hours to move him somewhere else. I was told that my father was uncooperative and they didn't see that this would change. I asked for suggestions on what to do and was told this was not their problem. (Side note: Their contract makes it harder for them to evict a resident who's been there for more than thirty days. I believe this was the reason for their haste.) There was a hurricane coming. Our case manager managed to negotiate an extra week at Noreen McKeen because of the storm. She was able to find a place for dad and get him moved just before their deadline approached. He had been there for a total of 24 days -- just over half the time that they said he would need to adjust to the place and a full week longer than they wanted him there. When my father arrived at his new place, I discovered that he arrived with medications that Noreen McKeen had not told me they were giving him. This might have been a good fit for my father had they only given him the time that they said he would need.
