This place is amazing. I am ecstatic about having my mom stay at this retirement Community. Marina (Director of Sales & Mktg) was such an awesome help during my search when I found this place for my mom. She was so kind and helpful throughout our time working out the details. She was thorough & made it so comfortable & smooth. The price was more than reasonable as well as the floor plans available, we're perfect & easy to choose from. The entire staff always has a smile on their face and always willing to offer their services. Everyone including the residence always seem so happy. The atmosphere & the landscape is open, airy & peaceful. It is so beautiful that I can't wait to come have lunch, dinner or participate in an activity with her. I'm very satisfied with my decision to have her live here.

I visited my gram on Thanksgiving. Great Brunch for the Holidays! The restaurant staff were nice and attentive. I was very surprised to see several managers in for the holiday, mingling with folks who live there and their families. I m happy that my gram is here.

NO STARS IF POSSIBLE!! I started a few years ago with a five star rating. Most of the staff from that era has left the Fountainview community. People having Covid and they don’t tell the other residents, people found dead in their apartment two days later, the security alarm braclets don’t work, meal cards over charged with people running out of funds too soon due to errors, and sadly the fire alarms go off 2-4 times daily. This put the residents in more danger going down 3 or more flights of steps and it’s another FALSE alarm. Even the fire company said it’s something that needs a serious fix. The place has gone downhill since. They are going up tremendously on the fixed income seniors that reside there. Six percent and some less increases on rents, money taken away for daily meals, food not cooked to their liking, (meat rear or bleeding), cleaning service stealing from residents and half cleaning the property, and it was said since the organization is “not for profit’” Fountainview can not provide Christmas bonuses or a Christmas party for staff. This money HAS to come from the residents. WHY? If it can’t come from Five Star why make the residents suffer!! The number of residents has gone down. Why do think this is happening? Please stop misleading and mistreating our seniors. Others are looking for a new address and I support them. Close this dump down.

My mother has been a resident there for the last 3 years. She was hit with a 10% increase on rent after having been told 5% was the norm. Meal prices were jacked up from 16 points to 24 points which is equivalent to a dollar and yet the food continues to be not suitable at times especially for older people. Security is a joke The locks are broken on some of the doors, some of the doors don't shut and lock and anybody can come through the front gate and the security guard does not question them they just sit there and punch the button to open the arm. I'm seriously concerned about the security and the fact that there's no one there to fix her telephone either. Her phone reception has been garbled and sounds like she is under water for the last 5 or 6 days. When she reported it, she was told that Juan is on vacation for two weeks.

It has been so rewarding to work at Fountainview these past few years. From exciting events with families, residents, and professionals to the joy of helping someone choose a new lifestyle, it’s an incredible place to be.

I recently had to move a family member from 1 Assisted living facility to Fountain View West Palm Beach. I have been so pleasantly surprised by the entire process. the staff that attend to my mom daily have been fantastic. They engage in conversation with a smile and courteous manner all while attending to her needs. As a nurse what I am so very impressed with is the nursing staff, especially Lydia. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and update you if there is the slightest of concern. Living 3,000 miles away I have all the confidence that my family member is being truly cared for. I cannot express how happy we are with this move! I definitely Fountain View WPB if you are considering an assisted living facility.

After reading previous reviews I''ll have to say they are all quite correct. this place is probably the best you can expect to find most anywhere. Truly 5 star dinning and the entire facility measures up to that as well. Compared to other facilities in the immediate area it certainly was also the best valuel. We were fortunate to have meet with the Assistant Executive Director, Michael DaSilva, during our search for an assisted living home for my mother-in-law. Michael is a perfect host and presented us with a wonderful tour of the facility. No pressure sales here, no need, the place sells itself. A beautiful compound and we just love the social settings. It seems to be a great benefit for all the residents that somewhere around 80% of the residents are Senior Living residents, (I think 55 and older) and 20% or so are assisted living. A very comfortable mix. I feel fortunate to have moved our loved one into this place.

I am very happy that I was invited for a tour at Fountainview, I liked it since the vey beginning, The place is beautiful and they fallow thru with every thing they promise. Especially Ms Denae Woodward is wonderful. The food is excellent and they take us to Dr's appointments, to different stores four days a week, in addition we have activities every hour of the week. Also we have entertainment weekly with different artists of the community. Fountainview is really 5 stars. Thank you.

Price increases but services decrease. Staffing cutbacks are causing services to suffer. Not a recommended place currently

I have visited West Palm Beach from CA each of the last three years and each time I have stayed at Fountainview (in the Independent living section) under their "Short Term Stay" lease arrangement. I am extremely please with my experience at Fountainview. The management and staff are professional, courteous and accomodating. Professional in the way they operate the facility in general, as well as the way they handle extraordinary situations such as hurricane preparation and Covid. Courteous in the way they seamlessly blend respect and friendliness with every encounter. Accomodating as demonstrated in the timeliness in which they respond to your needs and requests. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you Fountainview.

Sandy Syphurs and the entire staff made our visit to Fountainview so easy. Our dad is looking forward to living here. Thank you
December 2020
Our mom has lived at Fountainview for the past seven years. From our very first visit, the entire staff was friendly, gracious and welcoming. Meals are nutritious, well-prepared and delicious. The cleanliness of the facility is top-notch. Fountainview is by far the best choice for mom and I highly recommend Fountainview to you.Update: After seven years at Fountainview, our mom passed away in August of 2018. As I wrote in her obituary, the staff at Fountainview had become like a second family for our mom and my sister and me.
November 2020
The staff, activities, and caring for Independent Living Seniors at the Fountainview location in West Palm Beach, FL definitely lives up to its Five-Star name. My 93-year old Mom has been both a seasonal 4-month snow bird, as well as an 8-month resident since 2013. Ive visited her frequently over the years for lunch or dinner when vacationing in South Florida, but this week I got to see so much more of the terrific operation at Fountainview, when I stayed for 5 days to help get her moved in, and settled in for her upcoming 4-month stay. The staff welcomed her home with open arms. The administration, move-in coordinator, activities director, furniture movers, TV set-up staff, housekeeping, and handymen were all so responsive and pleasant to work with. They made sure everything was set up, working, and just the way we wanted it.Thank you so much Rachel, Cassie, Gail, Miguel, Karen, Juan, Tony, Mavis, and the entire professional team at Fountainview. Its great to know that my Mom is in such great hands, and having such a wonderful time, and I can rest easy, assured that she is living independently, and benefitting from all of the great resources, services, activities, and caring staff at the Fountainview.

I visit a friend there often and Im very impressed with attentive and friendly staff. Lots of activities offered.

I follow Fountain View and Five Star Senior Living on Facebook and see their efforts in promoting a clean and safe environment for their residents. They have a professional staff that is always willing to go above and beyond for their residents by creating a warm, inviting, fun, clean and safe environment. They are always wearing masks and have social distancing measurements in place to protect their residents as well as their staff.I would highly recommend anyone to Fountain View and Five Star Senior Living during these challenging times with COVID-19!

February 2020
Dad had always been incredibly healthy until earlier this year. He lived alone, drove a car, exercised regularly, etc. So, when he could no longer live independently, it was a terrible shock. Although he would have preferred to continue living at home, it would no longer be safe for him.I check out a few ALFs, then someone recommended Fountainview. My first contact was with Sandy Syphurs, Sales Director. She is fantastic! She put me at ease and made the process, the paperwork, the move-in easy. Sandy is perfect at her job and clearly loves the residents at Fountainview. She knows all the residents names and greets them as she passes them on the walkways.Dad raves about the food at Fountainview. Also, he enjoys the concerts and social events. Theres so much for him to do. Hes made friends and plays cards, goes to ice cream socials, and keeps busy. He also has a lovely mini-apartment that is perfect for him.I am comforted knowing that Dads safe and cared for. Thank you, Fountainview, for taking such good care of my father!
February 2020
We introduced Fountainview to our Parents in 2009. The staff and facilities have been a wonderful new family for them and their needs. They lived in Independent Living for several years and moved to assisted living. When the difficult decision for other changes came, the staff met with us and we came up with a solution together so my father in law could stay. The staff was always responsive and became and extended family for us when we could not there to visit all the time. Their patience and understanding of this time of life by keeping the family member somewhat independent but safe was very professional. They honored their privacy and allowed them to keep their individuality. The floor plans for the apartments are so nice for the transition from a condo or home. The facilities, restaurant, pool, work out rooms, library and craft areas are very useful for member who still desire an active life. Doctors were available when they could no longer travel and when we needed to leave town, extra care was shared to be sure our parents were comfortable.know that our decision to advise our family members to be associated with Fountainview was the best decision we could make. When my father in law did pass away, the staff provided solutions for out of town guests to stay at the guest quarters--very nice! They are a great solution for anyone needing temporary lodging!Thank you, Foutainview! We will recommend you along the way.

I couldnt be more pleased with the service we received at Fountainview in West Palm. The staff is caring and provided a comfortable and safe place. As I do not live in the West Palm area, I found the management (Rachel, specifically) to be detailed oriented, have great follow up, and went above and beyond in offering assistance where needed. Great place!

I couldnt be more pleased with the service my mother has received at Fountainview in West Palm. There are daily activities to keep the residents engaged. The staff is very caring and make her feel comfortable and safe. Management is very detailed oriented and go above and beyond in offering assistance where needed. Great place!
October 2018
I was visiting my mother this past week and we had dinner at 6pm at the facility. Our waitress without a smile took our order, brought the beverages to the table and spilled an entire soda all over the table getting my mother a little wet. She did not apologize and moved us to the next table. She lacked compassion and customer service skills. The menu choices are very good and the food quality is a cut above what I expected. The Security and grounds people were all friendly and welcoming. There is a bridge over water to walk to the pool or dinner. There is a library, a gym and a salon for hair grooming. The dining area is going thru many positive changes to feel like an upscale restaurant experience thanks to the talent and experience of Brandan, theExecutive Director.
July 2018
My brother was a former resident of Fountainview before he moved out to his own apartment. When he had a downturn in his health I came back to have a new look . There has been a tremendous change in the facility. The rooms have been remodeled, and in general there is a totally different feel to the place. The staff has been fantastic in helping me get ready to have him move back. The executive director Brandon Rippo has taken an active role in helping me. I could not have done it without him

Many caring people have helped my sister transition to an Independent Living apartment and I am amazed at their kindness! Being a caregiver is a BIG job and the staff at Fountainview have become my village! I rest easier now because they care and have gone over and above! A big Thank you to Nina, Rachel, Jen, Cassie and the rest of the staff!

Fountainview has been a welcome experience for my Dad and me as well. I wasnt able to care for him any more (hes 93 now, was 91 when he moved in), so I was lucky enough to find Fountainvew, where the staff are over the top friendly and take good care of him. Their independent living apartments are adorable with a balcony, kitchenette, the works. Hes very happy with the food and compared to other places, the food is excellent. Lots of parties, happy hours, entertainment... I feel very lucky to have found this place and highly recommend it!

I cannot but share it with All .I arrived in Fountainview the eve of Friday 4, 21, 17 for my third stay here as I am a six month seasonal resident. A bunch of goodies and a fresh dinner welcomed me when I entered the apartment .Saturday morning , walking through the paths and bridges from my apartment to the dining room surrounded by the blooming bushes of flowers , chirping birds and highrising 3 water fountains, it felt as if I was walking through paths of the Garden of Eden .Later that day, Saturday mind you, the new move-in-coordinator met me in the apt to check whether there is anything I needed.Fountainview has always given me as feeling of Belonging and home, this time so much more .Highly recommended.Nurit Nitzan

While waiting for my client to arrive at the marketing office, 4 employees passed by. Every one of them gave me a smile of greeting. That shows a great team consciousness and attitude and speaks well of both management and staff.
