Up until a few months ago, my Mom was able to manage on her own with some help from my siblings and I. Unfortunately, due to dementia she quickly deteriorated and had multiple issues with falling. Every single day I was so stressed about her wellbeing, that whenever my phone would ring, I would have a slight panic attack thinking it could be something fatal pertaining to her. As I was at my wits end, a friend recommended that I call Micheal Vergara at Acti-Kare Boca Raton. Mr. Vergara spent a good hour with me on the phone, assuring us that his company could help our family out with my mother. It's been a couple months now and not only are we happy but my Mom is extremely happy as well. She gets excited each time her caregiver comes by to help with her daily needs (and when Mr. Vergara calls to check up on her as well). Some of the duties Acti-Kare helps us with are preparing meals for my Mom, doing some grocery shopping, helping with her bathing/grooming, getting her daily walks in (exercising) and some light housekeeping too. They have done a lot more for us in more ways than one and have gone above and beyond our expectations. I can say wholeheartedly that this is a company that CARES about it's clients. Acti-Kare and Micheal Vergara have helped breathe life back into my mother and for that, I can't thank them enough!
