Excellent place. Of course, nobody wants to be away from home but my friend needed a place for rehabilitation and after visiting several places where I really wouldn't even be able to leave my dog. I found this place which is the best, clean, comfortable and most importantly there is human quality and people who are working in a team way to achieve the patients' goals. I recommend it 100% and I am very satisfied with the work they do and the human quality they have. Congratulations on my part to the director and manager of this place, because they should feel very proud, not only of contributing to the recovery of the patients, but they make them feel as if they were at home.

This place totally failed my mother and my family. The only reason they get 2 stars is because they did have a couple of caring staff members. They failed to communicate care within a reasonable time period and could never manage my mother's pain. We switched her care to hospice and moved her and it's night and day. If you have a choice in care my recommendation is to go elsewhere

At Luxe it is a good facility for veterans. The accomodations were good. The food was great, I got triple portions. Betty and Maria was patient and visited me every morning to make sure my meals were accurate. The service when I turn on my call bell can use some improvement to ensure people are getting good satisfaction. I have to have a big shout out to Sheila, the administrator. She was great and very helpful and made sure the staff did their jobs. She always has a smile and is ready to help. She great. I'm sad to leave here

During my Ex's 2-week stay at Luxe, we encountered a disappointing CNA, but I can't blame the entire facility for one person. Overall, the rehab is clean and comfortable, thanks in part to the amazing cleaning staff who kept the place spotless. Special thanks to Carolyn for fixing his TV. The meal staff also deserves a shoutout for their excellent communication with patients. Social Services Sherlinda was incredibly helpful in finding home healthcare. Manager Fay and CNAs Shyrene and another unnamed staff member were short but spunky and sweet, enhancing his stay. However, the physical therapy team, especially Nicola, stood out the most. She encouraged him to complete his daily rehab even when he was stubborn. If you need therapy, there's no better place to be than here.

It was not good. Some of the CNA's were lazy and one nurse gave me the wrong medication but I caught it in time.The CNA:s bring water to your room at 5:00 in the morning. Who drinks water that time of the morning. When the overnight staff come in. Some of them don't ask you if they help you. I were glad I was able to help myself. They don't have enough workers for one.

The facility and location are quite lovely and clean (no bad smells here). Don't let looks deceive you. My mother was at Luxe post surgery. From the time she arrived to the time "we" got her out, she was worse than upon arrival. Like many places they are understaffed and under trained. The staff tried their best and for the most part were caring and wanted to do the best under the circumstances of their work conditions. Here is a synopsis of our experience. More will come at a later date but i wanted to make sure the assumed fake positive reviews from the past month were balanced by an actual experience. There was little to no rehab, wrong meds given (insulin for non diabetic for example which I put a stop to), wrong release information given in attempt to keep her there longer, lying for hours in soiled bedding, etc. She was supposed to get daily PT and over the course of two weeks received maybe 4-5 sessions over 14 days. we rehabbed her at home. We left with 12 prescriptions of which with her GPs blessing 10 were thrown out as she did not have the conditions they were written for. Question EVERYTHING. We were there with our mother for 24 hrs a day and would not recommend unless you can be a full time advocate (and nurse). I am so sorry for the families of patients that did lot make it home. I can't imagine the heartache

The luxe rehab like is like a four season hotel. The food is above average. The staff is a great and nice. Therapy is magnificent here they really push you to do your best.The administration is very understand Shayla and Tyrell go above and beyond to help me with my requests and i have been known to be difficult patient. Jerry and charolette are very supportive administrators it has been a breath of fresh air administration isvon site at night for concerns. Your family only gets good care if show up every day and monitor. At night they get no care. Every patient on her floor ended up with COVID. My mom was left in her soiled clothes over and over during the night shift. They close the door and never come back. Not even for meds. It was horrific. After pleading with the day staff for 2 or 3 days to get the Staff Dr. to check her i was told he said she is fine. I told them I wanted to call 911 I was told I could not do that. I of course called 911 We ended up back at ER. She has Double covid pneumonia, if i did not call 911 she would have died. TO THE STAFF WHO REPLIED TO THIS AND SAID "REACH OUT" we did. Over and over so why bother. There will be repercussions for your staffs horrible care. Let me add in that 3 days before this, an admin called to tell me my mom has improved and was being sent home. OMG no one knows what's going on. Then during the "Care Manager" meeting that i was not even told about, just happened to be there, They told me she was participating in games and movies down stairs. My mother has NERVER DONE THAT. It is a scam on the Insurance I think. So NO. Do not leave you family member here unless you can monitor their care every day and night. stay safe

Like most businesses, there's always room for improvement. However, anytime I've had an issue, the response was immediate and handled beyond my expectations. There are some AMAZING staff here, who actually care about the patients and it shows in their professionalism, attitude and approach to patients. I can honestly say these staff members go ABOVE and BEYOND. Some people think the staff are miracle workers. They're not. Some patients do nothing but complain. But if you understand what YOU put into your recovery, is what you get out, I can tell you from my experience that the facility director down to the housekeepers, will bend over backwards to assist in and promote your healing process. Overall, I have no real complaints. I would definitely recommend this facility to my friends and family…

We were at Luxe Rehab for about a week due to my husband's full ankle replacement. We felt the facility was understaffed, but the service we received, most especially from the aids was fine. They always responded when we requested their time and service. The facility was clean and PT was good (Lynn). A special thanks to Shirlinda Bedford, Social Services Director, who went far and above her responsibility. Her helpful and cherry attitude was much appreciated and it certainly did not go unnoticed. Beautiful facility with lots of activities for their residents. My grandma was there several weeks and the therapy staff (PT/OT/ST), dietitians Kara and Maria, and the medical staff (Dr Emile and Carol), were amazing. My grandmother raved about how delicious the food was there and she was excited for every meal presented to her. It was great to see her spirit lifted back up during her time here and see her gain strength. My biggest complaint here was the hit or miss nursing staff. Nurse Evans and a few others were extremely friendly and informative and took our concerns seriously when we saw my grandmother deteriorating medically. Then I had other nursing staff I got eye rolls froms, or walked away from when asking for help. I was even told one night "that's a day nurse problem I'm just here for the night." Grandma did complain at times about long waits during the evenings to go to the bathroom and was getting up on her own at times when she wasn't supposed to. There also seems to be a lack of communication when it comes to orders that should be being followed and the discharge process seemed to have a lot of back and forth. My grandma definitely got sent home on meds with with equipment that was discussed she no longer needed…with a bit of focus on making improvements to the nursing staff and communication, Luxe has the potential to be the best in the area.

My loved one stayed here for 2 weeks and I must say it wasn't half bad as the reviews say. The staff was friendly and the food was shockingly hot when it came to his room. The rehab was definitely worth it. He started in his room in the bed and eventually transitioned to the gym. I was also able to play Bingo with him too. The place isn't that bad.

Just visited Luxe Wellington and I have to give credit, I was really impressed. You can see the leadership in the halls and assisting the nurses. I was really impressed. The reviews aren't that great, but the Assistant Administrator talked to me and said the leadership is working really hard to turn the building around. So far I must say the energy is great.

I cane to the luxe with the intention to wanting to go home soon. They have a program called guardian angel's and my angel Crystal was wonderful. She came to my room every morning to check on me to make sure my stay here at the luxe was comfortable as possible .thearpy was good but it could have been more.

Facility is clean and attractive. Physical therapy staff is outstanding. They understand their elderly clientele very well. They are attentive, patient, encouraging, and effective. Aides on the patient floor are helpful, patient and understanding. Unfortunately, as with similar facilities, there are too few of them. Residents are not routinely gotten out of bed into chairs.Meals and housekeeping are good. Communications is spotty. Social workers occasionally called but I never got a call from the supervising clinician.

I recently spent 44 days in this facility after having 3 major surgeries. Were the first days rough? 100% Mostly because I had to get used to the hard fact that a rehab is NOT the same as a hospital setting. I think this is especially important for family members who come visit and may only get a glimpse of skilled nursing facilities. There were times I waited long periods to get my call button answered, which was frustrating, but the majority of the staff was caring when they attended to me. word of advice - learn your care teams names. I wish there had been a white board where their names could have been written each shift. I must give kudos to the culinary team. The food was always delicious and fresh. Their activities team was incredible in their attention to detail regarding each and every resident. The social aspect of my healing journey was almost as important as the physical. This included the PT room. The staff was upbeat and did a good job juggling multiple patients (which was not easy) while making sure everyone was taken care of with dignity and respect. During my stay there were a few management staff changes. I feel this new team is dedicated to providing excellent care improving the overall customer experience. I am thankful to them… and hope I never have the need to stay again. (Wink)

I came here to visit my loved one and when we received our lunch I was blown away. Wow, this isn't any kind of food I would expect to be served at a rehab facility. Today we had the meat lasagna, could definitely tell it was made fresh and not frozen, other good items they have on the menu you can tell they were prepared from scratch. The nursing team, the management team, the medical team they really really help me with what I need. Did I get everything the minute I wanted? No, but I got everything I needed as soon as they could. There are a handful of great people working at this facility, but it has some major issues that make me insist you never admit someone you care about here. The first is, its severely understaffed and this is an issue that has not been remedied the full Month I've observed. This issue leads to the next, while there are some fantastic CNAs and nursing staff there are a negligent at best and abusive at worst. Moving past the Nursing staff, the other teams at the Luxe are fantastic and passionate about what they do and care about the recovery and health of their patients. A silver lining to the grey cloud cast over a facility that advertises itself as a "Resort-like" experience. If you genuinely love your family members, do not admit them to the facility until upper management remedies the major issues with the team involved in taking care of your family.

I don't have room to list all the things that were terrible about this place. I will say the woman who did my mother's wound care was very good and very kind. I would not put a loved one here again, unless you are able to be there daily, all day. The communication was awful, they kept my mother almost a week longer than necessary, and messed up the discharge instructions (leaving out the most important part, and ordering services she did not need). Trying to get answers from anyone, including the Director, was nearly impossible. Find someplace else for your loved one.

If you are reading this review, then you are likely having to consider putting someone at this facility. In short, many caring workers here and as facilities go, this is a decent facility. They have a young man who delivers food and changes sheets for the patients that made a lasting impression on our entire family as he was hard working, caring and was the antithesis of what you will read in many reviews. The PT team the NP are very good and were a key component of a good experience. If you read the reviews, you will hear all the negative things and reality is, not everything is perfect at this facility. But there are some stand out people who make a difference here. If you do put someone in this or any facility, ensure to have an advocate around as often as possible. Hire aides to supplement and communicate with out of town loved ones that may be trying to guide and advocate care remotely. Their are varying levels of caring people working in every facility and The Luxe is no exception and thus you will read and be scared of the various possibilities. But if you invest the time to be present or have an advocate present often enough, there are many competent and caring professionals at this facility and it is generally clean and newer such that it was a decent experience. Good outcomes do occur here.

My father in law was here for a month then transferred to an assisted living. We got a good taste of how things work in those 4 weeks. Not so great!
