I have been incredibly impressed on my visits to Venetian Gardens. I got to many communities in Sarasota and Charlotte counties for work, and the care and compassion of staff is evident here. Residents are happy, the beautiful and clean, and everyone I come in contact with is pleasant and helpful. I would recommend Venetian Gardens to anyone looking for an independent senior living community!

I lived there for 9 months. I made many new friends and with the new cooks, the food has improved. I left this week to be on my own again and moved to Downtown Venice.

Took a tour a few weeks ago. Looking for my MIL. Everything was great, Management and Staff were friendly and supportive. All of my questions were answered, I even received a follow up call from the Manager thanking my wife and I for considering VG as fresh start for Mom.

We were so excited when we found this community for my MIL. It’s a hidden gem in the chestnut creek area. The area is lined with beautiful oak trees, tucked back in a private and quiet setting. They are currently renovating the inside of the building and the design will be absolutely beautiful when it’s completed. We checked out other independent communities in the area and while many had lots of bells and whistles this community felt like home. The units themselves are cozy and feel bigger than other communities I checked out. They also provide outdoor access with a private patio, so pets are welcomed. They offer 3 meals a day and change the menu daily. This independent facility seemed to have a great community of people that all enjoyed the amenities that included: pool, daily activities, transportation, library, and soon an essential store onsite. The staff is truly wonderful starting with a warm welcome from Mary at the front desk to Amy and Kim who made a hard transition seemless and easy! I would highly recommend this community to anyone who is looking for a home for their loved one.

I have taken three tours here with Amy in the past 7 months, each time she has been so kind, patient and understanding with my mom. ( who is struggling coming to terms with moving at 89 .) This latest visit my mom decided to put down a deposit and is really looking forward to moving in now! This place is homey and full of kind staff , the residents seem very happy . I feel this place offers her her own little apartment ,yet the ability to be surrounded by friendly people and safety when we are not with her. Also, never in my life have i seen a monthly event calendar like this place.There is TONS of things to get involved in ( if you choose to. ) My mom is so important to me ,I researched this hard but I really think this place is genuinely a great fit

My mother lived here for a few years, food was marginal, she made a bunch of friends, she never complained about the staff, I assumed they were good to her. Place was in good shape, seemed clean.

This place is top notch! The grounds are beautiful and the staff are angels straight from heaven! It can be a hard find to have staff that treat the elders as family & love and care for them like they are their own parents. I love how involved the staff is with all of the events and daily fun activities for the residents Venetian Gardens is a 10/10!!!

Venetian Gardens is a warm community and a great option to all seniors in Venice area! The residents and Team are always very welcoming and makes you feel right at home. They have luxurious amenities, heated pool, happy hour and fun activities as well. They are also a pet friendly community which is a plus! I would highly recommend Venetian Gardens to all seniors citizens, as they support seniors to continue living life to the fullest, while having the support they need to have a successful aging in place lifestyle!

I recently toured Venetian Gardens. My overall experience was a refreshing and uplighting change from what I have seen and experienced. The Residents were so lovely and welcoming! They shared how happy they were to live in such a beautiful building and shared how busy they were every day "Just having fun". One lady shared that she enjoyed the bus outings. I was told about the activities they love and had an opportunity to peek in on a morning exercise class. Honestly, I was sold before I took the tour, simply from the conversations I enjoyed with the two ladies I met in the entry. As I was touring, I walked past small groups of residents chatting and planning lunch dates and visits. The grounds and common areas are well maintained. the apartments are updated and the perfect size for my mother in law's needs. The manager told me they are doing renovations this year which will make the already wonderful community even better!

Venetian Gardens welcomed my mom to their wonderful facility last week. They have gone out of the way to make her feel welcome and at home. We live out of state, so it was important for us to feel comfortable that she was in a comfortable and safe environment. When we made the decision that it was time for mom to be in a more structured environment, rather than living alone, she had just 1 request. You see, mom being a very gifted pianist had played several piano concerts there in the past and knew of the facility. When asked, she said "oh, I would love to live at Venetian Gardens, but I doubt they have any openings." Our information request filled out online was responded to very quickly that they indeed had an opening. Mom is now settled in and enjoying her new digs very much. I can't say enough about how the staff has communicated with me to ensure mom's transition (thanks Kim!). Mom's making new friends, entertaining existing friends, and trying to keep up with the active lifestyle offered there. Very well done, Venetian Gardens. We really appreciate it.

My mother has lived there for 3 years now. I can honestly say that the community is improving its exterior and interior under this new management. She has made friends that have become family, the staff is attentive, the food is good too. Our family is very happy that she is there.
