I recently moved my grandmother into Advinia. She loathed the idea of assisted living since I can remember. She was not a fan initially but it seems she’s finally started to settle in. We have loved the staff since day one. They’ve been great with communication thus far. I finally got to meet them this past week and every single one was kind. The nurses, aides, cleaning crew, receptionist and kitchen staff all greet their residents with such hospitality it shows in the comfort the residents have approaching them. My grandmother’s biggest complaint is the lack of activities - which I’ve been told is a work in progress. Chetta put me in touch with a company and a personally repped staff member who can work as my grandmother’s companion. This way she can get out and about as she used to. My grandmother also says the food could use an improvement as mentioned in other reviews but she also knows - it is what it is. She is safe, cared for and given respect. Which is all I can ask.

My father was here for rehab after having a pacemaker put in, and I have to say, the staff was wonderful. The nurses, CNAs, physical therapists, and even registration ” I believe her name was Betsy ” were all absolutely on point and did the best they could with the staff they had. Everyone worked together and helped each other out, and it really showed. The only downside was the food, which honestly was pretty bad. But you have to pick and choose your battles. I was able to bring my dad meals, so that part was manageable. What mattered most was the excellent care and physical therapy he received, and thanks to them, he is now home and doing extremely well. If you need a place for rehab, I would definitely recommend this facility. The care team was very, very good.

My 90 year old mother spent over a month recovering from a broken femur in Adviniacare's rehab facility. I was very pleased with the care she received from the nurses, to the CNAs, to the staff. The physical and occupational therapy she received got her back on her feet so she could return home. The food was good, too. I thought mom might need to go into their assisted living and Chetta was super helpful and supportive throughout the process along with Betsy, Julia and Phyllis in creating a care management plan. As with any care facility, I recommend advocating for your loved one as much as possible during their stay. One final shout out to Deborah.

Words cannot express how AMAZING, CARING and COMPASSIONATE Chetta, Roma and the whole team at AdviniaCare are! Including Joe, Becky, Lester, Leo, Flo, Dahana and Angie. Paula, Jolene, Stephen, Marcia at the front desk. I know I’m forgetting some names and apologize. My experience from day one from coordinating my Dads move to Memory Care at their facility and working with Chetta who put me at ease instantly thru one of the most difficult times in my life. I would not have had my Dad go anywhere else. They made me and my Dad feel like family and were there for me 100% until his passing last week. Their continued love and support is still there and I will truly be forever grateful ™.

“Excellent Elder Care Facility”. My mother, who is 94 and in good health, suffered a stroke which left her without her sight. She was previously living with me but with this condition she needed rehabilitation. I had to decide on a rehab and long-term facility quick and had several to pick from. After doing my research, I decided on AdviniaCare and the facility over exceeded my expectations in every way. I go to see my mom at least twice a week and I see how she improves physically and mentally each time. This is a real-time testament. The staffs focus on patient care, and their individual needs are stellar. The staff is very experienced in caring for seniors and they take it a step further by getting to know their residents and patients personally which does wonder for seniors in particular. The rehabilitation program and physical therapist fall into a top category also. The entertainment and social activities and the people who run them play a big part in keeping my mother's spirits uplifted and she looks forward to something every day. Everyone goes the extra mile for her to ensure she is included since she is blind. She loves the food, and the room is always clean. The place has great energy. The facility nurses, doctors, aides, rehab center therapist social workers, and administration are always ahead of the game with keeping me informed on my mother's health, needs, appointments. I cannot say enough positive things … oh and the other residents are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Thank you for all you do. We are so often we worry about senior parent when they need to go to a facility. My mom loves you all and so do I and we thank you all from our hearts for all you do. We are also glad that the facility is also a long-term care which will make transition smooth. Thank you

My Mom has been in this facility for 11 weeks after breaking her femur (86 years old) and I wish I could give them 6 stars! I researched 8 facilities back in January and from the first introduction, I knew this place was for my Mom. I came in after hours and they immediately engaged a nurse to show me around. Stacey was awesome to introduce me to this place and she is still the most amazing, caring person to take care of the patients. Everyone in this facility is just amazing from the nursing to the aides to the PT/OT, staff and cleaning. When I was doing my research, PT/OT was an important factor. They pushed my Mom to get stronger even in a non-weight bearing situation on one leg. Without them, she probably wouldn't have been strong enough to go home, but she is heading home! Just amazing. Thank you to all but special thank you to Stacey, Marcia, Shavelle, Daniel, Eva, Charmaine and John for taking top notch care of my Mom. Thank you all!

Everything about this facility is wonderful from the physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, meals, skilled nursing care, CNA care, activities, rooms, right down the the beautiful building. I recently moved my mom to the assisted living side of a adviniacare in Venice and she absolutely is thriving. She loves all of the activities and the outings and it’s eating three square meals a day along with her little dog Sophie, they go for walks around the property and enjoy the scenery, I couldn’t be happier and also my family of unburdening us with worry for our mom ! The nurses and staff are always willing to help and very courteous to the residents. I honestly could not have picked a better place for our mom

I have nothing but positive things to say of this facility and the care givers. The food that is served is restaurant quality. The receptionists are always cheerful and friendly when we come to visit. The entry is warm and inviting, not a sterile hospital feel. After a visit with my Parents, I leave the facility knowing my parents are in great hands. It is such a comfort for me to know they are happy.

I am so so ecstatic about this place, my mother fell at home had to go to the hospital after two weeks of being in the hospital she went to Manor care which was bad idea she fell in there and they didn’t even notify us ,that me and my sister looked around we found Harbor Chase the best thing we could do for our mother, The first day we called her and asked her how are you doing she said fine then we ask her how do you like the place she says I like it do not move me we would not move her they treated her like a queen, The staff is very warming and do exactly what they’re supposed to do, thank you to Sherry for helping me and my sister see through this you are a Wonderful person , couldn’t do this without your help of seeing us through this so thank you so much to you and your staff this place was great, I was so worried about the stars finding a five star but I found five star and it wasn’t all that great I found lower than five store like I said they treated her like a queen we are so so please thank you again Harbor Chase for everything.

Where can I begin? My mother has had a very difficult year w/several falls in/out of rehab. HarborChase took her in. When I say took her in, she was family the minute she arrived. The staff was beyond caring and professional. I was continually updated of how she was doing and when the staff called me, they checked in on me. Skilled Nursing was amazing. PT was amazing. All around 100% professionalism and 100% nurturing. Thank you for taking care of her.

Harbor Chase gave me physical therapy twice a day even on the weekends. When I first arrived, my pain was great and Harbor Chase saw my pain and told the doctor so my pain medicine could be increased. The staff cared about me and everyone else at the facility. The previous comment is so untrue. My mother has been at HarborChase for 5 years. The building is beautiful, clean and the care givers are wonderful. I love animals and Roulette makes my mother's day. She loves the Roulette and HarborChase's pet friendly atmosphere. I was told about the cats when mom arrived and I've heard the staff tell other residents. So don't let the previous person's comment deter you, if he/she and his family didn't like pets. There are lots of other communities to choose from. So shame on this family for having sore grapes after they left. This writer should have explored his/her option more thoroughly. I think this writer is just dealing with a lot of guilt and should take out his/her anxiety on someone else or just go get counseling. I would highly encourage everyone to choose HarborChase.
