My Mom moved in to The Meridian a few months ago from her home of 60+ years. She told me today that this is her home; She’s never going back to the house. That made my heart and mind so happy and at peace. The facility is clean, orderly, neat and every staff member I met today was very nice. They have PT and OT on site to help the residents. What is most important is that Mom IS comfortable, well taken care of and feels safe there.

My family met Jennifer, the community coordinator, and her elderly crew while out at dinner. We were lucky enough to sit next to them and each one of them were so filled with joy. We learned more about this facility while waiting on our meal, but I was so impressed with how connected this group was. One of the ladies was a newer resident, her first week there, and she was brought into the fold so quickly they were celebrating her birthday that night along with my 5 year old daughter. FYI, they were basically the life the party and brought us into their celebration. If you’re looking to have peace of mind for elderly care, look no further. Jennifer really cares about the community she serves and has a heart of gold. Your family will be in good hands here.

I just moved my mother into The Meridian at Brandon assisted living facility and within the first few days of living there she is the happiest I've seen her in a very long time. The residents and staff are very friendly and there are lots of activities for her to do to keep her busy. I wasn't sure she would participate in the activities but Jennifer the coordinator there is so fun and inviting she can't help but enjoy herself and has made some friends in the process. While there was a wait to get a room there (I see this as a plus because it shows it's a desirable community), Annie helped us through the process by keeping us informed and inviting us to experience some of the activities while we were waiting for an opening. She also invited us to lunch to taste the delicious food they serve. My mother hasn't been there long enough for me to comment on her medical care but from what I have seen so far (witnessing interactions between the caring nursing staff and the residents in the common areas) I feel confident she is in good hands.

My Mother-In-Law moved into a studio apartment in The Meridian at Brandon community a year ago and she has been thriving there ever since. The facility is beautiful, even hotel-like inside. They have a great activity coordinator who hosts lots of fun events for the residents and their families, they also have social groups and group dining. My MIL has numerous friends and is always celebrating birthdays and holidays there in ways she hadn’t enjoyed in years before she moved-in. Even though my MIL is disabled, she gets out to her doctor appointments solo, by way of the community van, and someone is available to help her with laundry and cleaning chores that she cannot do for herself. If you’re looking for an assisted living facility in the Brandon area, this place is top-notch.

I’m beyond Grateful that I’ve found The Meridian at Brandon for my mom, who is in memory care. I’m blown away by the Cheerfulness, Respect and Kindness shown to her and all the residents by the staff. It’s not just the caregivers, but the entire staff, to include the nurses, managers, and even the executive director, that make it a priority to share these virtues. Earlier, I’d made a mistake in choosing a facility that promised the best care in Tampa, only to disappoint. In a last ditch effort to get my mom to a Safe and Caring place, I walked into The Meridian. I knew on my tour that they cared. This time I kept a keen eye on the staff and how they interacted with the residents, it was night and day different from where mom lived. I couldn’t wait to move mom (although I did have to wait for availability!) we’ve enjoyed a very happy transition. I feel at Peace knowing mom is safe and cared for, for that I’m tremendously grateful!

The communication with the Meridian employees has been very positive in every phase of this transition period for my family. Looking into Assisted Living facilities can be stressful, and the staff at the Meridian have been extremely supportive.

I only have good words about my experience at Meridian at Brandon. The building is beautiful and up to date. Everywhere is super clean. The dinning room is very comfortable and the food is gourmet changing every day for lunch and dinner. The personnel is very respectful and attentive, the nurses, nurses aids, waitresses, front desk staff, maintenance workers always ready to help you. We have happy hour usually with musical entertainment, we all sing and have the best of times. I recommend Meridian at Brandon because is an awesome place.

Today was my first time seeing the inside of the property and WOW. The property had everything that a senior would want as they age in place. Margie conducted the tour and I was amazed by her knowledge and detail information about the propertydown to the paintings in the hallway. After serving the seniors in the community for over 23 years, no doubt they left no stone unturned. If you take tour. They are immediately ranked among the top facilities in the state.

I feel this location is nice and clean. The staff is well spoken, kind and informed. Their interactions with residents comes across as kind, sincere and natural. This place compared to a senior rehab center is like comparing a shack to Buckingham Palace. Highly recommended!!!
