The Estate is worth every dime it costs. The staff there are incredibly caring and attentive. The rooms are nice and kept clean. Rarely does it smell like the typical nursing home and when it does not, they are already working on it. The laundry was good at washing and returning Mom's stuff. The dining room has tasty food and can customize to meet special needs. The nurses are great at dispensing meds on time and tracking individual's data. The activities directors do a great job. I don't know what to say more. We visited other places and and they ranged from really disappointing to scary.

Leadership makes all the differnece. A few months in and we're still very happy. The Estate makes an exceptional first impression. Our family's first connection came through word of mouth, that led to contacting Angela, the marketing director. That led to visits by family members and our mother during which we were impressed with the design of the facilty: a memory care facility from its inception. These pre-move visits also opened conversations with staff members. An LPN who's been there for nearly a decade and plans to stay forever. Another key leader with years of experience came to The Estates because of the leaders already in place here. A few months in and our mother is very happy, safe, and treated very well.

One lady that works their her name is Tina and shes amazing . The others are great as well but time definitely stands out the most . She a hard worker and get her job done and she amazing with the residents.

My mother is an 84 year old who has suffered from slowly progressing vascular dementia for the last 8 years during which she has primarily lived with one of her children. In December it was apparent the disease had reached a point where she needed extra care that we could not provide and I began to look in Tampa for Memory Care. After a number of very uninspiring visits to other facilities, I met with Mary Walka and Carla Kuni at The Estate. I was extremely impressed with the facilities, but much more impressed with their answers to my questions and the programs available to the residents at The Estate. We placed Mom at The Estate in early January. If youve never done this - its 10 times more anxiety ridden than dropping your child off for their first day of school. But the folks (Wellness, Aides, Facilities, Management, Dining) at The Estate were so helpful in all aspects of the move in, I really began to feel comfortable. Medication management, meals, sleep schedules and eating were all addressed in earlier meetings with Mary and Carla and once Mom was in, a rep from each department came and confirmed. Every aide and nurse came in to greet us. Mom has always been a private person and I was worried that she would not assimilate well. Like many dementia patients she did not believe she belonged in a Memory Care facility. Mary addressed this concern with me early on saying that most residents lose this feeling within a number of weeks (and to be honest I didnt believe her - not my Mom!). So it just makes me incredibly happy to walk in now and see Mom cheerily taking part in Exercise class or Current Events with the other residents. Her room and dining are absolutely first rate and the loving care shown by all the folks at The Estate towards her now make me absolutely confident I made the right decision.

In a difficult time, this facility made the impossible possible. The high quality of care, excellent food, activities, outings and services in house are above reproach. The building and grounds are the finest we saw, and I would not hesitate to recommend the estate to any family in this situation.

We moved my grandmother into the Estate a few months ago. She has just excelled since moving in. At her previous residence, she barely ate, got dressed or got out of bed. Since moving to the Estate, she is eating so much better and I often find her in the dining room or outside of her room. The aides do a great job of making sure her bed is made and that she is dressed nicely. All of the staff are always friendly, greeting my grandmother or other family members with a smile. Im so glad we found the Estate!

My grandmother was a recluse before coming to The Estate at Hyde Park. She barely came out of her room. She immediately made some friends and enjoyed socializing at dinner. Now, she cant wait for the outings, enjoys participating in activities and sings and dances at their happy hour. I am so glad my grandmother went there, and it is fun and welcoming to visit her.
