FirstLight Home Care CNAs assisted us for what turned out to be the last 4 months of my mother's life. First Light was on a general list of resources from Hospice (I had her enrolled in hospice at home) and First Light was the first to return my call even though not the first agency I called. Overall the CNAs arrived on time and kept the attention and eyes on my mom.Minor glitches in scheduling yet nothing ongoing. Glitches always seem worse on little sleep and stress of getting to my appointment on time (which is why coverage was needed!). I was never late to my own appointments. Any issues were communicated to the office staff, and were handled, and did not recur.We did cycle through different CNAs who only came once, and in a short time settled into about 3 CNAs that seemed to be assigned regularly to the 2 four hour shifts we scheduled for Thursday morning and Saturday afternoon. The consistency was comforting to both mom and me.If I ever have need of CNA visits for myself, I would for sure contact First Light Home Care to assist. Very grateful for the quality of assistance, and good customer service we received overall. Thank you for assisting.

They are AMAZING. My dad's aid has helped the whole family. She understands my parents have never had help before and she has adapted and blended into the background, taking care of what she knows they can no longer do and not taking my dad's dementia-related outbursts. She remembers things like he shouldn't cross his legs when sitting, and is on it, constantly. She really does treat him like she would her own loved one. Caring for a loved one with dementia is especially hard, and without her I don't think we could keep dad at home where everyone wants him. Thank you for what you do.

I count this a wonderful blessed opportunity to share my thoughts on the care my Big Sister received from the professionals at First Light Home Care. In earnest, my sister would not have been able to remain at home if it was not for Nootan Pradhan and her team of dedicated professionals.The level of disability that rendered my sister unable to care for herself required a level of dedication to her exceeding normal care. Thats where Nootans team came to our aid with sleeves rolled up and they exceeded the expectations. There were times I called outside the usual and normal parameters. I would have understood if the calls were not answered. However, not only were the calls answered, they were responded to in a matter that went beyond business dealings into the realm of wonderful blessings.My sisters primary caregiver was an angel who bonded so well with her. That was a blessing indeed!

I was referred to First light by Victoria Archable who was helping my sister and me find ari g resources for our ninety-one year old mother. Nootan Pradhan, the owner,, arranged a meeting with my mother and me, and also brought along a potential caregiver, thus creating a sense of familiarity for my mother.While we had used other companies in the past, this was the first time that the owner had come to meet my mother. I appreciated that to no end. Now here was someone who had a feel not only for my mother but for the environment my mother lived in. Nootan also came to my mothers house to be present when my mother met a second caregiver.Nootan staffed my mothers care with diligence and showed sensitivity to what my mother needed. Nootan also listened attentively to feedback that we offered.We only stoped using her services when we moved my mother to an assisted are community.Nootans hands-on management shines through everything at First Light.

My aide fit my personality and needs perfectly and rolled with all the punches with my situation after a nasty accident. We became very companionable while she drove me to all my doctors and therapy appointments. We often laughed so much I forgot about all my problems while I was with her, and Id have her back anytime.

Excellent quality focused and individualized client care! Administrators perform onsite assessments and evaluation of clients specific needs and align caregivers with the best fit. Mark was very personable, communicative, and friendly during my onsite assessment. My family was welcomed, invited to participate, and ask questions. Everything about the company and service was explained clearly, and a brief tutorial on how to access schedules and patient notes was given. This information was reinforced with a FirstLight folder for future reference. Primary consideration is made on behalf of what your needs are and a schedule that supports clients and caregivers matched. My caregiver Sylvia goes above and beyond in my care, is very attentive, and is a daily catalyst in my recovery and rehabilitation with MS. Ive been working for FirstLightHomeCare since late June 2019 and theyve always been really good with treating me like family .I especially like the way they treat our clients like family as well .I really enjoy helping people and I really enjoy the fact that Firstlight always help me provide for my family as well .by making sure I get enough hours every week.
