Working as a dining room server at a 5-star senior living facility is a truly rewarding experience. I love my job because it allows me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the residents every day. The interactions are heartwarming, and I've built strong relationships with many of them, which makes the work feel personal and fulfilling. The environment is upscale and elegant, adding a touch of class to each shift. I also enjoy the challenge of providing top-notch service, ensuring that every meal is a special experience for the residents. It's a job that requires dedication and attention to detail, but the satisfaction of knowing I'm contributing to their happiness makes it all worth it.

The facility at Discovery Village at Westchase is beautiful with spacious apartments and seems more like independent living than an assisted living facility. I have been extremely pleased with how the facility handled COVID protocol safety, vaccines and boosters. I feel my family is safe there. That is a true blessing and gives me peace of mind. Since I first posted the above several years ago, my 94-year-old father was moved from Assisted Living to Memory Care. Our experience in both parts of the facility was amazing! But in Memory Care, Dad needed extensive assistance and I was afraid I would have to move him to a nursing home. The team there was like family to him - changing him, bathing him, engaging him in mealtimes and activities every day, making his bed daily, ensuring he ate and drank, recognizing his veteran's service, playing the piano for him and the other residents, playing table volleyball, celebrating holidays, etc. They were so creative and insistent that he get out of his apartment and participate, which was just what he needed. He passed away last week, and all of the staff have come to hug me and tell me wonderful stories about him. What a blessing to have him in a home-like apartment where he had around-the-clock checks and care and was able to age in place and pass peacefully in his own way. I will be forever grateful.

The staff is very patient and extra helpful here. The building is squeaky clean inside and out. After looking at many assisted living facilities in and around the Tampa area, Discovery village is by far the best!

I want to commend Dan Guanio, the Executive Director at Discovery Village at West Chase in Tampa, FL for his outstanding job at running such an outstanding senior living facility. I recently supported this facility as a pharmacist and member of the Covid 19 support team for CVS to provide vaccinations to the residents and staff there. I was highly impressed by Mr. Guanios outstanding level of professionalism and his attention to detail for ensuring we had such a smooth and enjoyable experience at accomplishing our important support mission to keep his residents and staff safe during this Pandemic. Mr Guanio was continually accessible throughout our visit and ensured that both the patient and staff flow for this endeavor was able to be accomplished in such an efficient and flawless manner. It was clearly evident to me that Mr. Guanio genuinally cares for his residents, the staff and support personal that visits his facility. As a retired Army Officer and Hospital Administrator and also a pharmacist with over 45 years of health care experience, I would highly recommend this outstanding facility to anyone considering an assisted senior living community either for themselves or for a friend or family member. Highly recommend Discovery Village at Westchase. My mom and father both have dementia and it was important to us to have them both at the same facility. Mom became a resident in October and Dad, after a rehab stay, became a resident recently. The administration staff and nursing staff are amazing with communication and ensuring we do not have any questions. My parents are well taken care of and they are happy to be together in a very nice facility. Definitely recommend Discovery Village for either memory care or Assisted Living needs.

An absolute 5-Star Review for Discovery Village at Westchase. The care they have provided my father during a very stressful time has been nothing short of amazing. I am a service member stationed overseas and this organization bent over backwards for me in order to provide my father the proper care and assistance he required; all while i was home on emergency leave. I moved my father from a horrible situation at a Tampa rehab to Discovery and it was the best decision i ever made. Going back overseas, I feel very safe knowing that my father is in their care. The facility is amazing (clean, elegant, extremely well kept), the staff is superb and the leadership is obviously taking the correct steps to ensure that that our senior citizens are treated with the honor and respect they deserve. Special thanks to Dominique, Monique, Allison, Rose, Daniel, Melissa and everybody else that has gone above and beyond. Highly Recommend!!!

We moved my both my father and mother-in-law to DV back in November. Both have dementia along with parkinson and mobility issues. We were really concerned about COVID so we looked at 13 different Assisted Living Facilities and selected DV at Westchase for several reasons. 1) Covid protocol. Impressed with procedures put in place to reduce risk of exposure 2) Overall facilities. Bright and spacious apartments, well appointed common areas and spacious dinning room. 3) Staff. Nurse on-site, attentive staff and great management team. 4) Food. Really important for my in-laws and after sampling the food, they were sold. It has been 3 months now that they moved in and we all have not been disappointed at all. Great experience all around and would not change a thing.... HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

WOW WOW WOW!! I recently had the pleasure of meeting with Veronica Rogers, the General Manager of this beautiful new Assisted Living Facility. I was with a friend who will be moving her mom in as soon as the building is complete. She (my friend) was super impressed with the fact that she could give a $1000 refundable deposit which would lock the rate her mom pays for 2 years, and she will get to be one of the first to choose her apartment. Veronica is a breath of fresh air and was so kind and informative. She is obviously going to be a lot of fun for the residents to be with! TRULY IMPRESSIVE and a welcome addition to our community!!!

She listened to our needs, cared about what was right for us and is genuinely kind. The sales center looks great and inviting. It was nice to see the building and the video.

The floor plans were great, just the right size depending if you want a studio, 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom. The building is going to be beautiful. I would highly recommend anyone to take time and stop by this community!!
