Brookdale Bayshore in south Tampa is now offering independent living - theyre adding an outdoor kitchen, cabanas and boardwalk to the pool area, as well as renovating the inside of the building. Apartment finishes are ftop-notch, and theyve added a reasonably priced premium option.

Brookdales a beautiful building at the end of the longest continuous sidewalk in the country. Most of the people in the vicinity are affluent and the property itself sits right on the water of Tampa Bay so everyones always getting that healing sea air. The staff here is amazing and they really care about my aunt whos been staying here for a few months now. They even walk her dog for her when she needs a little bit of extra help. A person can tailor how much assistance they need to suit their needs. Highly recommended if you or someone you love needs a little bit of extra help at this phase in their life.

Ive had the opportunity to work closely with Brookdale Bayshore, moving several of my clients into this community. Not only are they extremely accommodating to work with, my clients have all raved about how happy they are living there. This is truly one of my go to communities for Senior Living.

I consider myself very lucky to live here at Brookdale Bayshore. For the past five years, I have made many new friends and we enjoy many planned activities such as daily exercise, outings, and music several times a week, Happy Hour with live entertainment and appetizers once a week, bingo, book club just to mention a few. I have found the staff, including the front desk, maintenance crew, nursing staff, and personalized living to be very helpful at all times. Also, the chefs work very hard to provide good, wholesome meals for us residents. The servers are very polite and always helpful. I often find myself looking out the window at the water and enjoying the beautiful view of Tampa Bay and I consider myself very fortunate to live in beautiful South Tampa.

Brookdale Bayshore is a beautiful community for seniors right on Tampa Bay and I am so glad my grandmother chose to live here. We recently moved her in and she is loving her daily walks on Bayshore Boulevard, her waterfront apartment and views of the city. The staff are friendly and make each interaction so personal as they assist the residents. After visiting for a few hours, we truly felt like family here. The food is very good and you can order a la carte. The head chef even came out of the kitchen on our visit and engaged with those in the dining room. We also witnessed a group tour returning from an excursion where the staff had packed lunch and taken residents on a mystery tour of Tampa. Everyone was so happy and looking forward to the next outing. The staff took extra care to link my grandmother up with other residents that shared similar interests and ensure she settled into her new apartment. Even one of my grandmothers friends has followed her here. My extended family enjoys visiting my Grams here and she loves her new lifestyle!

Brookdale Bayshore is a beautiful facility which offers extensive activities and opportunities to keep your loved ones engaged. They have happy hour every Friday, painting and art classes several times a month as well as Wii games, chef demonstrations, holiday themed parties and so much more. Plus the main dining room over looks the water and the residents are able to watch the sun set on the water at dinner. Such a lovely experience for them.

Not sure what I would do without Brookdale. Theyve make the move to assisted living for my Gram so much easier than I could have dreamed. She was hesitant to move at first, but the incredible community, activities and awesome care have put her at ease and she is loving it. So grateful to know she is happy in her new home, and that she feels safe and relaxed to part of this community. Thank you, Brookdale!

My grandparents left Ohio for a warmer life in Florida, shortly after they BOTH had to be moved to assisted living. It killed us to have to make that desicion but after only a few visits to their lodging here at brookdale, I was confident they would have plenty of love and attention while we were not able to visit. The staff is very friendly and there seems to be lots of things for them to fill their time and keep them happy and busy. Thank you Brookdale Bayshore for creating a home away from home for our dear sweet mema and papa!

My parents moved there 2 years ago from Philly after retiring. They really enjoy all on the amenities that the community has to offer. I miss seeing them every day but I am glad that they have found a new home to enjoy after all the hard work they have done in their careers.

Brookdale Bayshore is the most legit assisted living facility around. It's basically like Disney World for older folks. The staff are caring, it's a great environment, and the food is shockingly decent. It's a great value for my folks, and Grandma loves it here. For great care, look no further!

Very clean facility with caring and passionate staff. Didnt stay long but lots of activities going on and everybody seemed pretty happy with their surroundings. Didnt eat but something smelled good, maybe next time I will stay for dinner!

Unbelievable facilities this place is! Looking for a place for our grandmother, and got recommended to Brookdale Bayshore. I must say this place is beautiful and the the people make it even better. From the warm welcome from the staff, to the fine cuisine that is served, to the ease of getting around, and excellent attention to detail makes this one of the best senior living communities in all of FL! Came here to visit my grandma, and I was really impressed with her home. There were a lot of activities going on and the service wasnt great! Stayed and had lunch with her and the food was really good too! Made me was to stay longer but I had to get back home. I was always worried about these kinds of places but Brookdale completely changed my perspective, makes me feel better knowing shes in good hands!

My aunt was no longer to live on her own. Once she agreed to move to an assisted living facility, the search was on. So, after looking at many Senior living facilities she (we) chose Brookdale Bayshore. The facility, staff, food, and her living area is much nicer than we expected. She is pleased with her home and is making lots of new friends. Im not sure why some have posted negative reviews as our experience has been very pleasant.

Went and visited my aunt and Uncle down there while the family was on spring break. Hadnt heard much of anything in regards to how the place was but we were impressed. Caring staff, food seemed to be very well done, activities going on. Good knowing they are in good hands!

Just recently visited my wifes aunt in Brookdale Bayshore. I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness and welcoming aura it possessed. The staff are very friendly and the guests are very well taken care of. My wife is super happy and therefore so am I!!!

A fabulous facility takes care of all your needs and more. I had great time while staying there as far as food care and rehab were concerned. The nursing staffwas super as well as the aids.When itcame to aids Gensis and Maria were wonderful buthere were more that at this time cn not remember their names... Rheab Ellen Decosta and Mark Whitten as refered to as mark 1 were superior in getting me to be able to return home yes mark will remember what you said about wiating when first stand till all fels proper then proceed. The building is very beautiful and in a great location however the staff is questionable. I am a private duty caregiver and go to this facility several times a week my client continuously complains about the staff in this building. Today I went to go do a shift which is 2 hours long and was told I had to park a block and a half away which is fine I do every single time I go but I have a bad flare-up of eczema on my feet currently and it is very painful to walk, I kindly asked a staff member if I could just park in visitors parking this one time and was told no!!! I I now see what my client means about the building staff being uncompassionate.

Beautiful apartments, they offer studio, one bedroom, and two bedrooms. They all have a full kitchen and are a really decent size. Basically all of the amenities are included in the rent excluding care costs. Very nice staff and management. It is worth your time to take a tour and stay for a meal.

Love all our neighbors in Tampa Bay and especially letting them know about our New items like SmartPack... Davis Islands Pharmacy and Compounding Lab is one of the oldest pharmacies in Tampa Bay. We can take care of all of your oral medications, packaged how you take them: by date and time of dose. We can include vitamins and over-the-counter meds, like aspirin. Pouches are arthritic approved for easy opening. Also great for children having to take meds during the day at school making life easier for School nurses as well as Mom-Dad and child.
