My experience at Arbor Terrace has been great. My mom is happy, and well taken care of. Great staff who cares for the residents and their well being. Activities are truly enjoyed by most. Outings are great. Food is very good. Having a nurse on staff 24/7 is a plus. And having the physician see my mom at the facility even better. The place is also beautiful, well maintained.

This was a beautiful place to visit and Katie was very helpful showing us around. The residents we met seemed quite happy living at Arbor Terrace and spoke highly of the staff. Ultimately I chose a place in a small town, but anyone who enjoys the activites of city life will enjoy this place and Arbor Terrace staff will take you there, as part of the many services they offer. It is easily accessible to the Tampa Airport if you anticipate visits from family and friends, or traveling yourself!

The staff is fantastic and takes great care of the residents...a special thanks to Tiffany, Antoinette, and Echo for all they do! Moving to the Arbor Terrace (Independent Living) campus after we sold our home was the best thing we ever did. Amazingly, our old home is only one mile from Arbor Terrace. Now we have the best of both worlds. We shop at the same stores, still see our old neighbors, use the same pharmacy, and more. Best of all, we don't have to cook and clean or even do laundry. The Arbor Terrace community equates to one large extended family. We love the camaraderie and fellowship . There are also church services on site. Arbor Terrace has an amazing and caring staff, plus with lots of activities and outings, one can be as busy as one would want to be. 5 stars plus, we love living at Arbor Terrace!

The following evaluation is provided for Jose Berrios, Physical property maintenance employee here at Arbor Terrace Independent Living Facility at Citrus Park. I have observed Jose working to maintain our 4 story building for over 3 years as we were the first to move in this building. He is diligent, knowledgeable and extremely capable to handle any job that he is tasked to do. He is honest and communicates extremely well with the residents, listens to their concerns, solves their problems and explains what he did so they fully understand. My observations and knowledge of how well be works and does his job, is based upon my personal experience and knowledge. I was the Facilities Management Director for Hillsborough County for 35 years and maintained all the County's 350 buildings from libraries, courthouses to the 35 story Fed Karl County Center. I was also deputy Facilities Manager for the United States Military Academy at West Point New York. I assure you I would not have hesitated to employee Jose to work for me in any of those positions I had. Jose is man who has integrity and personal fortitude that makes him someone that everyone respects and wants him working for them. Here at Arbor Terrace I am the Safety and Maintenance Committee Chairman for the Resident Council and in that capacity I closely watch how the staff preform their duties to maintain our facility and as such, I monitor closely everything that is done by staff and assure you Jose Berrios is one of the hardest most diligent working employee's here at Arbor Terrace IL Submitted by Don Harwig, LTC US Army (Retired)

Tiffany the director was so kind and knowledgeable about dementia, I know my mom will be in good hands. I would highly recomend if looking for your loved one.

My mum had been at arbor terrace for several years. We wanted a facility that felt like home, was clean, had good food, and a loving atmosphere. As a local emergency medicine physician I was surprised to find out Arbor Terrace was only one of a few ECC licensed facilities in Tampa. They had everything we needed. My mums dementia had started to progress to the point she could no longer manage her diabetes anymore. Their outstanding nurses were able to check her sugars and give her insulin numerous times throughout the day. At any other ALF you have to hire a nurse to come in and administer insulin. During Covid, even with the lock down their staff found ways to engage and make her feel cared for. As her dementia progressed we moved her downstairs to Evergreen, the locked memory care unit. She wasn't a wanderer so she didn't need a locked unit. But the staff in that unit are beyond miraculous. She got so much more individualized attention. If she didn't want to participate they would take the time to explain how much fun something would be. Some would sing and dance with her to entice her to join in. They increased care and assistance as she needed while constantly trying to keep her independent. They were there with us in the end when she passed away. The tears and genuine caring they had for my mum was amazing. I cannot find the words to express and thank the staff of Evergreen, for the genuine love they showed to my mum. I have recommended this facility 100% without any reservation. Thank You!

I couldn't ask for a better experience for my mom. The staff is so caring and took extra time when needed to see that she had what she needed. They kept the family informed of her activities and issues. The PT staff was very patient and were able to motivate her to work extra hard. Kathleen and the nursing staff saw to her needs and stayed on top of any problems. Teresa kept us informed of all policy changes and COVID results. They were able to keep the residents safe during the pandemic. Morgan has an amazing variety of daily activities and even on lockdown was able to provide things for the residents to do. This is the place to send your loved one to to keep them safe and happy.

Arbor Terrace (Citrus Park, Florida) took wonderful care of my mother Rosanne. Her health declined too rapidly to enjoy much of the amenities, but she did enjoy the physical therapy and dinning. The staff respectfully cared for her even when she was having bad days. As she needed progressively more care and towards the end, they keep her comfortable. The peace of mind they provided me, knowing that she had someone there 24-7, was also greatly appreciated.

ARBOR TERRACE--We were only thinking of a new assisted living facility for mom, and when I came across Arbor Terrace and finally spoke to AMANDA....well, my mind was quickly made up! I found this wonderful facility through a friend . I was at my wits end trying to care for my mother by myself . As fate would have it Tiffany , our memory care nurse , was able to come out and evaluate mom within just a couple of days . Once she got there I new everything was going to be alright for me and mom ! After the evaluation was over I had complete confidence in Tiffany that she would see to it that mom was cared for and the whole philosophy of the staff is love first . I feel it ever time I visit mom now . It was a very difficult move for her but they helped with everything . After 4 months I have stayed impressed with their level of care . . This is easily the best retirement community in the area, and possibly one of the best in the country. They have a beautiful campus, wonderful staff, and so many activities for the residents! My family and I viewed many other facilities before finally chooses arbor terrace for my grandmother. We are so incredibly happy we made this choice. Every staff member I have met has been incredibly kind, caring and attentive to the needs of my grandmother. They work very hard to make sure all the residents needs are met and they keep the place very clean! In addition to that, my grandmother absolutely loved being able to go outside when she wanted and she truly looked forward to the wonderful outings they take the residents on. Her favorite was a lunch cruise on the Gulf of Mexico. I highly recommend arbor terrace for you or your loved one!

Arbor Terrace ROCKS! I began working here a few months ago, and I have to say it is one of the BEST places I have ever worked! The management is friendly and so supportive. Many of the residents have lived here for years, which really speaks volumes about the care they receive. I work in Engagement, and it is such a rewarding job. The residents are so appreciative and the Directors are always praising the staff for a job well done. My supervisor goes above and beyond the call of duty making sure her team has everything we need to succeed in keeping our residents active and is ALWAYS there to help! If you possess compassion, integrity and patience you WILL SUCCEED AT ARBOR TERRACE! Working here is very rewarding, and personally I dont view this job as just a paycheck...it is a life changing experience.

After several site visits to facilities in Northeast Pinellas (Clearwater, Safety Harbor, Palm Harbor) and in Northwest Hillsborough, I selected the Evergreen (Alzheimers) Unit at Arbor Terrace Citrus Park for my father. He has been in their great care for 5 months now, and our entire family is very pleased with all they do for him. I visit at many different times and find every team member of every shift to be compassionate and loving for all of their residents. Dad is treated with dignity and respect. The service attitude is modeled throughout the entire complex. The facilities and grounds are beautiful and well kept. I only have one negative -- cell service is spotty indoors, but that gives me more reason to take Dad outdoors to explore the gardens (and beyond).

I recently toured this facility for my Mother. My 1st impression when walking through the front doors was very positive. The building is clean, smells great, and the staff are all smiling. A few items truly stood out to me compared to other facilities. The biggest take away was that this facility has two memory care options instead of one typical memory care unit. I was overjoyed to know that there is in fact a portion of the facility my Mother would fit in best without having to be locked down. I am now looking forward to the rest of my family touring this gem in Tampa!

I am beyond excited for my grandmother to be moving into this community, especially after touring 5 other facilities! I have always been grateful for the wonderful care my mom receives at Arbor Terrace, but never as much as Ive been since her two week stay in a local rehab following hip surgery. The difference in the staff at Arbor Terrace is astounding...from the lovely people who greet you every time you enter, to the dining staff who stop to chat with residents, to the nursing staff and CNAs who go above and beyond to provide genuine care. My mothers stay away from Arbor Terrace has opened my eyes to how things could be. I am so thankful to have her back to her Arbor Terrace family!

Like most children dealing with an aging parent I was very hesitant about moving my mother into an assisted living facility. Making the decision to move her into one was a difficult decision and I really wanted to find one that was the best for my mom. About a year ago she was diagnosed with Alzheimers and I had no choice. She was living independently in her own apartment, depressed, bored and sleeping all day. I reluctantly started researching assisted living facilities and a friend suggested I look at Arbor Terrace at Citrus Park. I always had negative feelings about assisted living facilities. The minute I walked into this facility a wave of comfort came over me. I was in awe of the staff, the exceptional facility and the activities on and off the property. Arbor Terrace is really a beautiful environment. Even my 15 year old daughter asked me if we could live there! I really cant say enough good things about the staff. They are so patient and caring of the residents, very responsive to my mom as well as her family members. My mother has now been in the facility for two weeks and it was such a smooth transition for all of us. The staff is truly sincere in the care they provide the residents. They have welcomed my mom and have engaged her in the many activities they offer. If you are looking for a facility for your loved one then look no further. I really cant say enough about the staff and facility. I just love it! Even my daughter is so impressed with the facility her and her friends want to volunteer there as well. I would like to thank both Amber and Amanda for their guidance every step of the way! You have both been a pleasure to work with!
