I don't normally make reviews but I had to share my wonderful experience! Canterfield of Tallahassee is professional, nurturing and such a beautiful community! Of all the many trips I have made, staff is friendly and hardworking. Kim especially has been so helpful through these times and I can't thank her enough! I highly recommend Canterfield of Tallahassee!!

The community itself is absolutely beautiful, the administrative staff (Director and financial services lady) are very unprofessional. Getting a return phone call is nearly impossible, in person meetings do not happen. It appears that this community also lacks direction on professional dress and decorum. The food and service at Canterfield leave much to be desired, any feedback or complaints are met with excuses and poor attitude in response. I would suggest doing your due diligence before making the decision to move a loved one into the this community. There is lots of competition in the area, do not buy based on appearance and the great deals they have to offer. There is a reason they have discounted pricing!

Please do not move your mother, father, grandmother or grandfather in this facility. Although it is the nicest one in town, it isn't the safest nor trustworthy. Today i watched the executive director Cherie Hart move a woman into memory care while they have currently have NINE positive cases of covid. She knew one of the residents was exposed while out at the hair salon and instead of quarantining her she just swept it under the rug, causing 11 positive cases nine being in the facility still. Always short staffed because she doesn't know how to treat employees so therefore the help your loved one may need won't be taken care of right away. There are things that needed to be fixed from two years ago that still has not been done. Save yourself the trouble and do not move your loved one here. Cherie Hart is the worst person to work up under in my 7 years of work experience.

I could not be more pleased with the help of the personnel and staff at this facility. Enough cannot be said about the hospitality of all who work there. It is an absolutely beautiful place and my mother enjoyed her time here. We are so thankful they were able to help with our mother when we could not.

I took a friend to visit the facility for future needs and it is beautiful. The staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable about the different programs available. I like that they have different options and you can change levels of care as needed. I would recommend Canterfield.

The Director of Nursing has a unequaled work ethic and an uncommon sense of duty. The care of the residents comes above all else. Employees should thrive under her tutelage as they learn to not just meet the standard as usual, but to provide the best possible care and attention of their residents.

Canterfield of Tallahassee is a fabulous place. The staff there are very pleasant and professional. I have had nothing but positive feed back from the staff nurses and also the DON. I just would like you to know they are doing an exceptional job. The facility is very clean and uncluttered. I especially look for things like that. I would highly recommend them.

The staff and administrators are AMAZING !!!! They are hard workers and they make sure the residents are happy and well taken care of at ALL TIMES!!! Once you walk in they welcome you as family . They have good service and i would definetly would recommend you to visit them.
